One name that I have been passed on from a reliable source from inside Ibrox is David Healy. May have been pretty stale as a player but really firing as a manager winning league titles and his pal steven Davis has been in close discussions with him.

Plan is for Davis to hang his boots up end of season and will join David, all going well, as part of the coaching team for next season.

Its outside the box but feel he can get us to that next level.

Not a chance of Healy being offered the post as he struggles to win a one horse race where has more money for players and better resources than any other team in the league.

Thanks lads, went a bit doolally with Stevie swift exit but now looking forward to the new management, what an opportunity to get a few points clear early doors and go for the main prize, , that mob will spend again shortly, in fact I’ve been told they have one major signing lined up now, but if we sell and have a manager with targets, we can do this.

Great to hear you are better Tom. Re the appointment, I think it's important to make a significant one as some of the players may have only come in because Gerrard was in charge. Gio would be ideal as he is a well respected ex player and coach who would also command respect from the group. Just my opinion.

Healy, surely not. He struggles to win the Irish League.
