The 4th official and rangers review stating that sources in the club have stated a final shortlist is well wife of the mark never mind an appointment being made.

Lampard may very well get the job but it's all shots in the dark at the moment according to many sources and the club itself said they will take their time. 4-5 days isn't taking their time.

Colin from Heart and Hand now suggesting the 5 top candidates are:

Scott Parker
Frank Lampard
Kevin Muscat
Oli Glasner
Philippe Clement

Not in those words exactly but has posted an image of the 5 managers with the tweet. so will it be on these 5 or will someone else emerge. i could be completely misinterpreting it but it looks to me that he has reason to name those 5 specifically especially when Parker has barely been mentioned.

Well aware this is a tense time for club and supporters but for me the board are successful business men that (should) know the criteria and taken advice on the next manager profile - I don’t think they want the club to fail - what would they gain? They have a wide spectrum of candidates and hopefully one of these will meet the requirements - maybe take more than 1 interview.
Agree a better interim team is needed and someone like Mr Warnock or similar on a month to month mentor capacity would make sense and create a decent handover to the incumbent manager.
On another note someone posted about a split dressing room - that is an issue that does give the fear and that would explain in part the performance level. Game at the weekend will be like walking on egg shells again.

Think it’s going to be between Muscat and Clement, think most would get behind one of those two and will be given time as long as we can see a style of play and progression ??.

Lampard does not have the job as yet. If so the bookie would have cut his odds drastically…they haven’t. I’m still hopeful someone like Clement can come be given this but make changes.

If the board want to take their time with this appointment then we need a a manger in for the short-term. We cannot have Davis and Rae there into November and December. Put a manger in until the end of the season and see how gets on. If he can’t do it pull the plug in the summer and start the rebuild then.

Leaving Davis and Rae there is unforgivable. I was watching the Rangers Review today and Adam himself said it was very “strange”. A club of this size, with everything to play for, appointing these two guys? I can’t understand it.
