Reports that the deal for Cantwell will be very low and has been labelled as a "bargain" in MSM but every report claiming the fee is low but Blackburn also offered a loan deal and our preference is to cut all ties and sell.

Cantwell’s behaviour is shocking! Playing for one of the top clubs across Europe, getting good pay, hugely recognised, has talent and at the age of 26 should be in his prime years!
Yet what’s this waste of talent want to do? Leave it all and only interested party seems to be Blackburn who haven’t played premier league football in 12 years- attitude is horrifying!
Imagine the team we could’ve had right now with him, Kent, Morelos, Cifuentes, Silva, Jack and Itten all young enough to be in prime years if only the could bother their arse enough to play for our jersey!

AllyM, Ryan Jack played 199 times for Aberdeen in a 4yr spell- how did he fair at Rangers? 131 games in a 7yr spell! He’s as big a letdown as any of them, I’m beyond caring about injuries these players get paid a small fortune to give everything for the club in a short period and Jack is another line of what if players like Cantwell, Itten, Kent, Morelos and the likes who could’ve given faaaaar more for the badge - is it any wonder Jack still can’t find a club?

Who’s blaming Jack? It’s just a fact he’s one of the letdowns when constantly being injured! He played less for us in 7 years than he did at Aberdeen in 4! My point was about Cantwell and players stealing a wage with various injuries and not wanting to be here it’s beyond funny now!

Wikipedia states he played 130 transfermarkt says 210 where I’m guessing you got your info! But Wikipedia also states he played 199 for Aberdeen and Transfermarkt states 250- so no matter what website you want to use he still played more for Aberdeen in 4 years than he did for us in 7! My point still stands!
Plus season 20/ 21 when we won 55 he played 19 games and the most he ever played was 25 games in 1 season! He’s also played 15 games in the last 2 seasons- it’s pretty shocking for a player who gets paid handsomely by our club and another what if player.

We will probably struggle to get a player that fans know of. The unwashed have executed the correct model, sell and then enhance the team with they will sell on at a huge profit. Celtic get stronger and we get weaker. So frustrated with the whole process used by the board, any player that comes into Rangers won’t play on Sunday as no time to get to know players. The failure of moving on players earlier in the window has been a MAJOR contributor, ok, we are at the mercy of others but as the board published our one out and one in scenario it makes us at other clubs mercy. Also the board sanctioned the salaries of Cantwell etc.

With Rangers Review confirming we've been in contact with Tiago Gouveia it would suggest an exit is surely close.
Clement said after the preseason camp we had players lined up and wanting to come so surely if we are now making contact over a winger we must be close to shipping one out with Matondo the most linked.
Also read a interview with current Blackburn manager who confirmed Matondo is a player they are looking at but did also say he is one on a list of around 60 players we are looking at.

Jonny MacFarlane has rubbished our links to Van Ginkel. Not one I believed was a goer and not one I'm overly upset at being shot down. We already have an aging 10 in Lawrence.
Need a young, more energetic option. Like a Hannibal or something unknown from some team we've never heard of.

Not that it matters but the last time Van Ginkel played for Chelsea was in like 2013 I think. On Fotmob is primary position is as a 10 with cm secondary. On transfermarkt it's the other way around.
I don't think we will get Hannibal either and I don't think he'll go to that lot either. I hope we sign someone exciting as back up to the 10 because Lowry and Dowell won't cut it and with Lawrence scoring 3 of our goals during preseason I expect him to start there.

He played all last season as a 10 amc. He played against us in the champions league for psv as a cm. He can play all 3 comfortably. Not that I think we should sign him due to his injuries. If he stayed fit though he could easily do a job for us. If it’s between him and fleck I’d choose him.
Ps where does this nonsense that Johnny McFarlane is a hibs fan come from? I watch rangers review every morning and he comes across as one of us. Why would he be on there with guys like stevie Clifford and Chris jack if he supports hibs?

Blackburn in discussions with rangers for Cantwell and want a deal done before window closes.
Wright linked to Birmingham and Rangers keen on a deal.
Hagi rejected Rapid but expectation is he will still leave the club.
Lowry, King and Devine all free to leave as well if deals can be done.
Rangers have not bid for Ibrahim Adel but are "aware" of him.

Just because we get linked doesn`t mean we were actually in for him. As soon as a loan wasn`t possible and they were talking millions then there was no chance of us getting him .
