Zak Lovelace situation - plenty of posts saying he’s out of contract but struggling to find online anything with the length of contract he signed. I’m surprised that Rangers paid comp for a young player and gave him a 2 year deal, if that’s the case.

Just type in zak lovelace contract and it comes up, he's out of contract this summer, as previously stated by another poster contracts for 16 year old limited to two years.

He couldn’t have signed a contract longer than 2 years as it’s not allowed at that age.

Ah cheers Copland so 16 years old can only sign up to 2 years. Many articles at the time saying he’d signed but none specified length, this will be why.

Copland the rules on SPFL suggest a maximum of 3 years. Listen, I’m sure it is 2 years as there’s plenty of chat online but weird no reliable source of length of contract, all hear say.
