David, Cantwell isn't a dud, he is one of our better players; the problem with him is that he is inconsistent and not the most intelligent! He has always had the potential to be a top quality player but seems to have his demons! i'd rather see the Saudi contingent pay us big bucks for guys like Davies, Goldson, Tav., etc.

Comparing Cantwell's dribbling to Matondo's to try and make the point that Cantwell can dribble is at best, wild. Cantwell can't dribble and neither can Matondo. Both should be sold asap. Cantwell and few fans that can't see the woods for the trees are the only one's to believe his hype. Clement has lost patience aswell, that's very clear.

Cantwell has had more yellow cards than goals for us and has won 1 trophy out of 6 in his time here. Call me a clown all you want but he’s more of a hindrance than a benefit and I’ll be happy to see the back of him.

How is it wild? Wingers should be able to dribble, yes? To my eyes cantwell can do it better than the wingers we have. He may be a tool but he's better than dowell and lawrence in his position. Is it not sensible to offload the weakest in a position first. Whatever the manager decides ill get behind tho as i believe PC is definitely the man for the job.

When Cantwell arrived i thought great signing, loads of ability and definitely an upgrade to our midfield. TBF to everyone, he hasn't done enough and personally, if the Saudi's want him, he'll be gone in a heartbeat. The money, sunshine and lack of pressure will suit him and give Clement 1 less problem to deal with.

Cantwell isn’t a bad player, he’s just not the world beater he thinks he is. He’s also a confidence player, when things go against him he does show the desire to win he just shuts off.
I wouldn’t call you a clown Davie but I do disagree that he’s a dud. I think TT sums him up well.
I’d be happy if he’s in the squad next season although, I’d be ecstatic if we get £6m+ for him.

Yes Soll, I made the same point the other day. Don’t know where that figure has come from but it’s definitely nonsense and just goes to show how little these online sites, football insider, Rangers News etc actually know (it’s zero by the way in case you were wondering). One of the more ‘in the know’ posters on here stated that we are actually looking for somewhere around the £2m mark (although may settle for £1.5m), which is much more realistic.

Nobody is even interested in Tavernier and Goldson. This story linking them to Gerrard’s team is nonsense. Gerrard is team cannot sign anymore foreign players (although they are currently fighting to change that rule in Saudi) . Even so, Gerrard’s club is not one of the super rich clubs. Buying Goldson and Tavernier for the rumoured £8m-£10m would constitute most of his teams summer transfer budget.
There is every chance Rangers start next season with Tavernier and Goldson still here. Goldson is on so much money we are going to find it very difficult to convince him to leave.

Like Devine also, was positive in possession, showed great positional awareness and wasn't afraid of a tackle or two. Also, as Borna gets it tight when he's not at it, credit where it's due. Thought he had a good game verses Motherwell, overcooked a couple of crosses but did a power of running and put his body on the line for a fair few tackles. thought it was brave performance.

One of the things that impressed me with Devine playing on the wrong side was that he was prepared to go wide, not just cut back on his right foot . He put in some decent balls though maybe not to Barisics standard . I hope the boy has been putting in some real practice on his left foot because being able to play both sides would be a big asset.

Looking at the actual draw, wow we’re unlucky. Look at Lyon for example, look at the money they’ve just spent. I heard they needed to raise 100m but can’t see the outgoings to cover that.

Not sure why but seems football seems to be end of June rather than April. That's one of the things that stung Forest because they didn't sell player last year till after June and messed up their finances. Personally would think it would makes more sense to arrange it round the end of transfer window then clubs know exactly what they need to do as last chance to raise funds. If a team is struggling by end of June most clubs aren't buying yet.

Totally understand PC has decided he’s not for him and we don’t really know what Hagi is doing or what his agent is doing but I’m not entirely comfortable on the treatment of the player. He’s not any worse on some of the players we have in that squad. I wonder if PC is saying he’s not his no10 because we dropped one on the deal and he’s not allowed to play him.
At this stage, I assume our options can only be release him or manage to sell him to a league that hasn’t quite closed yet. What a mess.

What they worth Rayger? Ask another 10 on the site and when we get different valuations, we see how the market works. In the world of football, £3-£4m gets you not a lot for a young player with time on your contract. Effectively we need to be buying guys for £1m and developing them enough for clubs to think they’re worth £10m . Or shop for frees, which if you’ve been on her long enough, which people constantly whinge about.
Diomande def offers something different, he can travel with the ball. Cortez has got pace and actually takes a man on. Give them time or risk chasing them out of Glasgow at a big loss.

There’s some decent players in that team. We’ve spent more than anyone in the league (net) and we’ll no doubt pick up from the level we’re delivering now. Let’s players get fit and settle down. We need to have a decent season and see some development in these players. The way some of the fans are acting now, PC will chuck it and we’ll have 20 players regarded as deadwood and we’ll be unable to ship them. again!
