EHL, have you got any info/ update on the Kasanwirjo plans? Did we change our mind or is there still the possibility we'll sign him?

Sollof19

1.) 21 May 2025 19:01:48
Everything seems to point to him returning - which I hope to be the case.

2.) 21 May 2025 19:11:13
Think he will be a proper good player? Never got to see much of him for work and stuff then got a long injury?

3.) 21 May 2025 19:11:17
Sollof u can't sign him till window opensb.

4.) 21 May 2025 19:19:01
Rb from on Dundee is signing mulligan so don't need the Dutch dude.

5.) 21 May 2025 19:20:58
GVB we do as Tav can't continue and the Dutch boy can play CH also.

6.) 21 May 2025 19:29:18
Mulligan played as a midfielder for most of the season.

7.) 21 May 2025 19:42:29
Sorry even when fit he rarely played despite our shocking defence and wasn't that impressed tbh. Not worth the fee they wanted.

8.) 21 May 2025 19:45:27
I think our squad would benefit from having both Kasa and Mulligan.

9.) 21 May 2025 20:07:06
Kaiser, the guy is a first pic for the Dutch under 21's, can play anywhere across the back, was starting to feature most games prior to his injury and came back and played towards the end of the season when he wasn't expected to. And he was only going to cost around £1.5m. Really hope we do follow up on him, think we'd end up regretting it if we don't.

10.) 21 May 2025 20:21:47
Who you talking about Kasier? Surely can't be the Dutch boy.

11.) 21 May 2025 20:23:41
Rabbi he played as a right wing back for Dundee mostly.

12.) 21 May 2025 20:28:04
I hope to god we get Kasanwirjo back on a fresh loan to buy deal. I would expect Rangers related negotiated the deal before end of season.

13.) 21 May 2025 20:29:13
Just my opinion guys. Wasn't that impressed by him, but hey I've been wrong plenty of times, so let's see.

14.) 21 May 2025 20:30:13
Thought Kasanwirjo was just starting to look like a decent addition when he got injured. Seems built for our game. A defender who is good in the tackle decent in the air and looked confident with the ball at his feet. Think if we can get a deal cheap enough he's well worth the gamble.

15.) 21 May 2025 20:42:34
He's played on the right or midfield for most of the season.

16.) 21 May 2025 20:45:15
I tell you one thing, i'm glad you are part of the set up EHL because some people on here are don't know who is or isn't a good player. kasa who is on 6-8k per week costing around 1.5 has arguably looked our best left and right back when played there this season.

Comment earlier - Tyhrese Dolan stats look terrible. my god watch football guy, was one of Blackburn's best players this season ?.

17.) 21 May 2025 20:51:56
Kasanwirjo looked as good as any we have defensively imo. Would sign / keep him and Sterling. nobody else ideally.

18.) 21 May 2025 20:54:33
Get him back on loan decent loan fee to be taken off an agreed fee if we decide to sign him prob best for all round that way.

19.) 21 May 2025 21:03:06
Correct Farlo, sometimes I just feel posters haven't even players involved play, Dolan would be a good signing for us but think he'll sign for Celtic.

20.) 21 May 2025 21:26:09
Would like to get him as an option My Star, small quick and gets stuck in. not heard anything regarding him to be fair not heard anything regarding ins just outs.

21.) 21 May 2025 21:32:05
It's right wing back he has played.

22.) 21 May 2025 21:34:48
Kasa was outstanding vs malmo in the europa league, was solid for us whenever called upon and was performing brilliantly for the Dutch u21 then suffered a horrendous injury. The young guy is very talented, suits our transfer model would be a no brainer to take him on loan for another year or permanently if the price is right.

23.) 21 May 2025 22:05:31
Kasanwirjo has had a few good games for us, the money for him is robbery in my eyes he can play anywhere in the back line.

24.) 21 May 2025 22:56:29
Cheers for the response EHL. Yes never tho if ht about the timing John but thought we might agree the fee and the deal would go through when it opened.

25.) 22 May 2025 02:33:42
Kasa must be signed.

03 Feb 2025 15:03:31
The fans wanting Kent back will be disappointed if the rumours are true and he's off to Iran. Crocodile bedroom anyone?

Sollof19

1.) 03 Feb 2025 15:40:27
Good ?.

2.) 03 Feb 2025 16:09:22
His career goes from strength to strength (I'm sure his bank account is ok though, which is all he is/ was interested in)

3.) 03 Feb 2025 16:32:23
Iran ? What a plum.

4.) 03 Feb 2025 16:52:45
Persepolis n it was days ago, was discussed on here.

5.) 03 Feb 2025 16:52:56
Not one iota of interest fro. Us in kent.

6.) 03 Feb 2025 17:24:53
Apparently one of the things that swayed it is it's legal to own a crocodile there ? so I read I do t know if that's a true account.

04 Jul 2024 07:46:59
Obviously it’s in daily rag so pinch of salt with this one but Bisgrove coming for Cantwell, allegedly. Could Bisgrove be doing us a turn this summer by taking one, maybe more of our players we’re happy to lose?

Sollof19

1.) 04 Jul 2024 09:01:19
Can’t see it, he’s not daft and wouldn’t risk his job by signing our duds.

2.) 04 Jul 2024 09:06:58
David, Cantwell isn't a dud, he is one of our better players; the problem with him is that he is inconsistent and not the most intelligent! He has always had the potential to be a top quality player but seems to have his demons! i'd rather see the Saudi contingent pay us big bucks for guys like Davies, Goldson, Tav., etc.

3.) 04 Jul 2024 09:17:06
Cantwell a dud? Seriously?

4.) 04 Jul 2024 09:39:12
Cantwell is on the list of players that need to go this summer.

5.) 04 Jul 2024 10:00:53
God help us Berkshire if Cantwell is one of our best players. What exactly did he do last season apart from make himself look like a proper tool with his social media antics. It would be nice if he was as good on the pitch as he is on his phone.

6.) 04 Jul 2024 10:08:48
If he is inconsistent and not intelligent then by definition he is a dud and if you think those inadequacies make him one of our better players then god help us. We have yet to see any of this so called potential.

7.) 04 Jul 2024 10:21:34
BB I agree he has talent but doesn’t work hard enough with his talent.

8.) 04 Jul 2024 10:27:38
A dud? award of the day for one lucky clown .

9.) 04 jul 2024 10:34:33
bb, i see cantwell as the type of boy who believes he is the best player in the school, nobody can get the ball of him, then he's the best player in his local amatuer team or whatever, dribbling and dancing across the pitch without looking up, very good at that but very frustrating fir his mátes, , todd has done this a
l his career, that's why he isn't in epl, he frustrates everyon because he can't see anything else, only himself, imo.

10.) 04 Jul 2024 10:43:23
Cantwell would of been amazing under gerrard the style he played.

11.) 04 Jul 2024 10:53:01
Can anyone else dribble with the ball in our squad? From last season. Take matondo for example he can't control a ball or beat a man with acres of space. Its ones like that who need to go first.

12.) 04 Jul 2024 10:59:07
Feet work to quick for what his mind wants to do Big D, a bit like sakala tbh?.

13.) 04 Jul 2024 11:13:15
Comparing Cantwell's dribbling to Matondo's to try and make the point that Cantwell can dribble is at best, wild. Cantwell can't dribble and neither can Matondo. Both should be sold asap. Cantwell and few fans that can't see the woods for the trees are the only one's to believe his hype. Clement has lost patience aswell, that's very clear.

14.) 04 Jul 2024 11:35:39
Cantwell has had more yellow cards than goals for us and has won 1 trophy out of 6 in his time here. Call me a clown all you want but he’s more of a hindrance than a benefit and I’ll be happy to see the back of him.

Three cheers hit the nail on the head he can post about shush burgers all he wants while Callum McGregor takes the P out of him every time they play.

15.) 04 Jul 2024 11:42:32
How is it wild? Wingers should be able to dribble, yes? To my eyes cantwell can do it better than the wingers we have. He may be a tool but he's better than dowell and lawrence in his position. Is it not sensible to offload the weakest in a position first. Whatever the manager decides ill get behind tho as i believe PC is definitely the man for the job.

16.) 04 Jul 2024 11:54:21
When Cantwell arrived i thought great signing, loads of ability and definitely an upgrade to our midfield. TBF to everyone, he hasn't done enough and personally, if the Saudi's want him, he'll be gone in a heartbeat. The money, sunshine and lack of pressure will suit him and give Clement 1 less problem to deal with.

17.) 04 Jul 2024 12:19:40
Cantwell isn’t a bad player, he’s just not the world beater he thinks he is. He’s also a confidence player, when things go against him he does show the desire to win he just shuts off.

I wouldn’t call you a clown Davie but I do disagree that he’s a dud. I think TT sums him up well.

I’d be happy if he’s in the squad next season although, I’d be ecstatic if we get £6m+ for him.

18.) 04 Jul 2024 13:19:07
I doubt it since that side has reached its limit of foreign players.

19.) 04 Jul 2024 15:35:25
Just because Cantwell is better than Dowell, Matondo etc does not mean he is any good, that's why its wild. We need to get rid of them all and I don't care in what order.

20.) 05 Jul 2024 06:26:21
Well we ain't getting rid of them all in one go its hard enough shifting any of them.

21.) 05 Jul 2024 06:28:42
Not sure Bisgrove would have any say in who gets signed.

18 Jun 2024 09:59:39
Sorry if I’ve missed it, but Tom Lawrence £5m! I know it’s a bit of a joke source but in what world are we pushing for £5m for a 29 year old with one year on his contract! Surprised that’s even been posted, even as a joke.

In other news, does anyone know if the alleged possible departures, ie Tav, Goldson and Cantwell are driven by demands from other clubs or Rangers willing to sell?

Sollof19

1.) 18 Jun 2024 10:16:15
Think everyone may have a selling price tbf, Sollof.

2.) 18 Jun 2024 10:51:59
5 mill would be a dream, get him off the wage bill and money to recruit another player or 2.

3.) 18 Jun 2024 11:31:20
Yes Soll, I made the same point the other day. Don’t know where that figure has come from but it’s definitely nonsense and just goes to show how little these online sites, football insider, Rangers News etc actually know (it’s zero by the way in case you were wondering). One of the more ‘in the know’ posters on here stated that we are actually looking for somewhere around the £2m mark (although may settle for £1.5m), which is much more realistic.

4.) 18 Jun 2024 11:51:58
Nobody is even interested in Tavernier and Goldson. This story linking them to Gerrard’s team is nonsense. Gerrard is team cannot sign anymore foreign players (although they are currently fighting to change that rule in Saudi) . Even so, Gerrard’s club is not one of the super rich clubs. Buying Goldson and Tavernier for the rumoured £8m-£10m would constitute most of his teams summer transfer budget.

There is every chance Rangers start next season with Tavernier and Goldson still here. Goldson is on so much money we are going to find it very difficult to convince him to leave.

5.) 18 Jun 2024 10:46:51
Depends on what a team wants to pay. Like lawrence tbh think he is the kind of player to unpick the low block. Faster open games not so much its rangers' problem atm it's as if we need two different teams one for Europe and 1 for scottish league to deal with hammer throwers.

6.) 18 Jun 2024 12:15:07
Sollof, the same world where the other mob put a value of 40m for O'Riley, but I agree 5m for an injury prone 29-year-old with 1 year left on his deal.

7.) 18 Jun 2024 13:34:26
Beginning to look like Goldson Souttar and balogun will be 3/ 4/ 5 choice Nsiala and another starting.
Tav will still be 1st choice rb u can put your mortgage on that.

8.) 18 Jun 2024 13:38:51
Generic I'm sure that's twice you've posted tav/ goldson would take up most of el-ittfaq budget, they spent nearly 40million last year mate, more than likely spend more this year. i'm not saying they will go, just that statement isn't true.

9.) 18 Jun 2024 16:02:28
take 3 he is out of contract soon and always injured, free to us from Derby, no loss there.

10.) 18 Jun 2024 19:29:01
GRF then its 2nd place again. We cannot go into new season not improving the defence. (Nsiala won't be a starter) At least 2/ 3 changes needed.

11.) 18 Jun 2024 21:36:48
Big dado, I think if Nsiala doesn’t start season as lcb then he won’t take long in making it happen.
He’s not taking a strap backwards by coming to Scotland from seria A superpowers Milan to sit in the stands in Scotland.
He could’ve signed a new deal and went on loan to France or Italy.

03 Jun 2024 12:51:20
Does any of our members with inside knowledge have any details of the Cortes deal? I’m interested in the value but probably more on the sell on percentage we’ve agreed.

Sollof19

1.) 03 Jun 2024 13:42:30
From what i have been told 500k loan fee 3.5mil obligation to buy and 10% selll on.

2.) 03 Jun 2024 13:52:47
i think it's 4 mill not sure about sell on though.

3.) 03 Jun 2024 15:28:34
Cheers AC… I get it’s a fine balance with what we can afford to pay up front and how much we need to protect from giving away large % of sell on, never too happy with giving away sell ons but when we’re strapped for cash, sometimes it’s essential to getting the players in.

4.) 03 Jun 2024 19:53:56
Closer to £500k loan fee and £2.5m next summer with large sell on fee %.

5.) 04 Jun 2024 15:25:22
Hopefully that’s more accurate bornabear 4 million would be rangers doing bad business again don’t get me wrong I liked the look of Cortes but! When you break it down is 7 games enough to really judge a player he scored 1 goal and might have just hit a patch of form

He has 1 year less on contract
loan never really went well
Serious injury
Are there any other parties willing to pay that money I doubt it

I get it though he made our other winger look timid with his direct play but not many minutes played in most of those 7 games either

Are we getting over hype because best performance was in second last game vs hearts goal and assist

What I’m saying is this is all point ranger should have used to try downplay fee

If they were to pay the full price his club paid then surely it should be based on his appearances for rangers.

I have absolute no issue with people on here saying they don't like how Martin sets his team up or his lack of attacking football. But some on here crying about how underwhelming it is or he'll be sacked by Dec. You do realise he's been interviewed and scrutinised by our new board just like every candidate.

This is the guy the board has deemed the best fit for us that was also wanting to take on the challenge. Can we chuck the football chairman views and start doing what Rangers need us to do, support the club. Anywhere, everywhere!

Sollof19

1.) 03 Jun 2025 13:49:08
Sollof we haven't had a great track record with people in charge getting managers correct granted it's a new board but that's why people are like this.

2.) 03 Jun 2025 14:13:34
Yes agreed storm that's the reason. I think we need to try our best to push the negativity out. Support them and give them a chance at least.

01 Jun 2025 20:52:22
Has anyone read the article linking Dio with Everton ? here's the section that's comedy gold "Everton chiefs have identified as a candidate to bolster Moyes' ranks in the middle of the park. The Ivory Coast international, 23, can play in a variety of positions including as a holding midfielder, a box-to-box player, a No. 10 and a left-back"

Remember when he went left back? ?.

Sollof19

1.) 01 Jun 2025 22:17:50
Before he came to us sollo and i'm sure he spent about 15 mins there for us as well ?✌️.

2.) 02 Jun 2025 08:48:24
Lost the last of 4 finger nails in the 15 mins BF had him there!

29 May 2025 22:58:50
Right who's had a cheeky fiver on farioli! These betting markets tells us two things -

Punters haven't a clue who's getting the job
Bookies making a fortune.

Sollof19

1.) 30 May 2025 01:12:12
Rangers Rabble say it's Ancelotti and it's the takeover delaying the announcement.

19 May 2025 14:44:13
If we are far down the road with one manager. Who else is fuming and very proud of how well the club has kept it quiet!

Announce it so we can get on with pestering the group on who we're signing!

Sollof19

1.) 19 May 2025 16:14:11
To be honest its been a while since Rangers had leaks from the boardroom or training ground. we are fairly decent in keeping "mum"

2.) 19 May 2025 20:58:29
Sollo I think you can start pestering as the singings don't seem to be reliant on who the manager will be.

13 May 2025 08:47:18
So reading between the lines and before I start, we're all aware there will be many changes of the goal posts when seeking a new boss but this is what I'm reading from comments on this site

Rose interviewed and if not taking the job, is due to him not accepting the role, for whatever reason.

Gerrard interviewed and is a possible candidate because he'll take the job. Essentially balls in our court to give him it

Ancelotti appearing recently suggests we're still looking around. John mentioning us not willing to wait for Lampard might suggest the club is happy enough with Ancelotti or it's a now or never situation.

Seems the 'Gerrard will be the boss' info from guys on the site might be driven by the fact Gerrard is the only person interviewed who will take the job and we MAY be willing to offer it but he's not our preferred candidate. Essentially he's our back up.

Sollof19

1.) 13 May 2025 11:15:59
Wait and see tonight what happens with Coventry as that might open up the way for Frank Lampard.

Player I doubt has that. Doubt liege have that high either. He had 6 months on his deal, we only purchased in Jan due to Raskin wanting January move only. The % Liege negotiated would be driven with how much we were willing to stump up for him that month.

Ruggy you worded your view poorly and can't take getting abuse for it. Look at the games he done well in and see what he offers in these games and you'll realise why he'll do better in a better more open league.

I know many on here, myself included, think we should have moved Tav on. Sounds like not for a lack of trying. But for the number of managers that have come in and backed him as captain, is says something. Possibly lack of options but says something none the less.

Stig one thing is for sure. You absolutely eat and breathe Rangers! We all love them but if there's a regular I had to guess the most likely to wish they had Rangers duvet still, it's you!

To your post, I agree with what's been said by EHL previously. There will be some, like Bajrami, that looked like they're destined for the exit and might just shut this style. I'd assume his style require running power so we might be missing somewhat in some areas.

With the general view of £20k a week being out of our model then I think any player that has offers to high championship/ premier league might be a problem. Whether this player has that or not, I'm not sure.
