Helander getting big move to anderlecht after playing all the time for odense.
What is our medical department doing to these players?

Wishy, our medical department is one of the reasons he's getting his move.

Wish I understand what you r getting at, but he suffered mainly from broken bones in his feet

I think it’s probably difficult to prevent broken bones.

Good luck to the big man, wish him nothing but the best. Great defender!

Would be great if he came back to us but something tells me he would get injured again ?.

Exactly Mark it wasn't the medical team who injured Helanders feet. The big man was just incredibly unlucky in his time with us. He was a good player for us and sadly no longer here and i wish him all the best.

Fair enough the initial injury it’s hard to prevent it’s the dealing with said injury and how we rehabilitate the players that’s the problem. We misdiagnosed Lawrence twice for example. Our medical department is shambolic.

Wish y how can it be shambolic, we brought back Waller and many on here said no more injuries, this was guy who ran department under gerrard, I do think a lot of bad luck, however under clement we r still getting same players constantly going down and out

Sadly I think it’s their make up.

To be fair to wishybear how many times have we been told two weeks only for a week later to be told out for months. I believe there is something wrong medical department wise too.

Recruitment of injury prone players not doing us any favours either.

Wishy, to even think about blaming our medical department is ridiculous.

Mark44 our medical department is a joke.

We signed a player at the start of last season who came with a slight ankle injury, our medical department misdiagnosed it more than once and that player has very rarely been fit while at us. And that’s before you even start to think about players like Roofe/ Helander/ Jack.

Correct Copland, I’m told this is why so many of our medical examinations r no longer done in Glasgow

That relates to new signings in particular.

Surprised to be reading this about the medical department.
