I think once you go out on loan at rangers your pretty much done for as a rangers player just look at past loanees murphy, doherty, rossiter, holt, mcrorie, and a whole host of young players unless you do exceptionally well or there is a change of manager. but you know what if gerrard thinks its the right move then we got to back him has proved himself. i admit i doubted if he could do it i was worried he took rangers job too early but has got his rookie manager mistakes out the way very quickly and fast developing into a great manager. roll on 56 as 55 is in the bag.

I think the likes of Stephen kelly and kai Kennedy, maybe Josh Mcpake have got a chance I think they all showing well at loan clubs. Kai Kennedy especially he looks some player.

I don't think like that. Look at Harry Kane for one example? One loan doesn't make a player. I do agree some players are on loan to go in the shop window but most of the youngsters just need game time to develop as players. Kai Kennedy reaping rewards playing for Raith Rovers and will be a better player for it playing against men rather than kids. Stephen Kelly doing well too. Josh Mcpake, looks promising but just needs runs of games.

Hopefully some loanees will do well such as middleton (always rated him) and mcrorie (goalkeeper) just like mcgregor did.

The proof in the pudding will be when they return to Rangers after their loan has ended and they have to impress the management that they are capable of being part of the first team squad.
Patterson has already done that at a young age whilst not having to go out on loan to prove he is good enough.
I believe Kennedy was also deemed good enough but his ego / agent got in the way. 👍.
