With Patterson going I really don’t want a back up right back signed I want someone either better than the right back we have or maybe John would know better as he has seen them have Devine or king (I know he is meant to be CH but can play RB) in as back up and spend what money we have on wingers and veerman if money stretches that much.

I agree stormtrooper, Devine could fill that spot or use Balogun. Use the money to strengthen the wide right position and possibly veerman too.

Agree storm, given tav is clearly first choice, why pay millions for someone not to be selected short term, as cover we have Balogun, Devine who is the next Paterson, also American lad sands plays right back if he comes on loan to buy.

Agreed Strom that we don't need to replace Patterson. Would spend money on Veerman permanent, Olsen loan to buy that would demand loan fee and bring in a central defender.

Can't see us spending good money on a RB when Gioqseems more than happy with Tav.
Especially when other positions are needing strengthened.
Plus Gave us performing at a decent level under Gio.
And his contribution to the team is still immense for a RB.

I 100% agree storm. If we want the best youngsters in the country to sign with us then we need to provide them with a path to production. Young Devine looks like a good understudy for Tav.

Interesting that 2 gaffers have had the chance to put Patterson into the team in front of Tav and neither have done so. That being the case, good bit of business for young Nathan.
