I see there are rumours of us being interested in zak vyner from Bristol City. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this rumour or is it just click bait. Also does anyone know if we are looking to bring in a wide player, heard that Beale said he'd like to bring in someone to replace Kent? And seen Palma's name being banded about again. Anyone got any info about these rumours.

Beale has said this evening there's no truth in Vyner rumour. John suggested 2 still to come in and it would look logically to be a cb and winger. No idea who as names seem to have dried up but wouldn't be surprised if 1 was a loan late in the window.

Think it will depend on outgoings and whether we can get into the champions league. If we do shift some players out and get the group stages we may be open to spending a little more on both positions if not then possibly look at someone out of contract or a loan deal for 1 and spend on the other.

Michael Mols. I'm obviously biased but he was absolutely incredible. For pure talent, one of the best we have ever had imo.

Michael Mols out with Super Ally is probably the best striker I've ever seen at Ibrox. He could turn a defender inside out in a millisecond. He was absolutely Class for us and if it wasn't for that big German ?end injuring him, he would have gone on to be one of our top scorers of all time imo.

Great team, but like Paul said failed to get out champions league groups. Good wins v Dortmund, Parma, PSV around those years but ultimately for the money that was spent they failed.

Thats a bloody cheek. They 3 have contributed nothing to this season. Not one of them fit to wear the Rangers jersey let alone the captain and vc. I believe that Clement getting the sack was the right decision but, if what you say about these 3 is true i'd fire them all too. Players have to take responsibility and for christ sake, Tav has seen off at least 3 managers now, he is a joke of a player and a captain imo.

This takeover is all very good but, how does it impact our first team if we are to stay within FFP limits. Would this new ownership have to sell naming rights to Ibrox to provide the club with a legitimate new revenue stream? Bigger sponsorship deals? Look at the potential prize money in competitions we could compete in. Champions league say maybe 30 - 40 million, spl 5m to win it maybe then a sustainable player trading model say bringing in 10 to 20m every 2nd season or maybe every season depending on how good our player recruitment is.
I hope it works out for the best but, i get the feeling some folk think that this takeover means we can spend like top teams but, we can only spend what our revenue allows us so we stay compliant with FFP.

One of the things that bugs me about our team is, our players seem to be unable to do the basic well when they come under pressure. Simple passing mistakes and what looks like a sheer lack of confidence or conviction in their abilty to play under pressure from opposition players and a very impatient crowd.
Players at this club not only need to be able to cope with this pressure but, they have to thrive in this environment.
