Sorry a bit slow on catching up on some of comments but had to respond. Can't believe some of the comments defending groups that sing sectarian songs because they also raise money for charity. So it's OK for a philanthropist to be a racist or a sectarian bigot? Let's just ignore or cover up vile moronic behaviour because they also do some good. These folk should have no place at our club. No excuses.

Totally agree I don’t attend away games anymore but sitting at home watching and listening to that on Saturday was embarrassing, the hymns of hate were loud and clear the protests with toilet rolls and tennis balls did nothing but affect the team’s concentration you could see the players were annoyed, these fans seem to think they are more important than the club it’s embarrassing.

No I used to go home and away and across Europe but now a man of almost 70 I still have my season ticket of more years than I care to remember, to be a true fan you don’t have to protest during the game or sing songs that has nothing to do with the club and only brings shame on our club so if I’m not true supporter in some eyes so be it.

Kaisercaillaud I'm a season ticket holder and watch a large portion at home since I now live in England! So I'm surprised people have accused others of not being supporters for watching on telly! Who was that by the way?

I have to defend him as this has been the case on here before about not being true fans. I have recently given up my season ticket because of work and family stuff I couldn’t make enough games so it’s just not worth it.

I’ve never subscribed to the real fans, fans or supporters debate. Wether you’re watching the bears at home or in the stadium and love Rangers you’re a fan 100%.

As for the songbook at away games and at home, the club are not doing enough to end and it shouldn’t be allowed to continue if it’s keeping fans away. Nor is it down to fellow supporters to name and shame, I guess at one point or another over the years and as young guys, we all got caught up in it.

the bigotry shown in games stops the club going forward as so many people are turned off from club. Its self harming and if club is serious about ridding itself of this, it knows how to do it. But it wont.

Sorry Barrow lad and Sir Walter, this was meant as a side issue and don't wish to name folk or scroll through years of posts to prove who said what but there has at times as been confirmed an attitude from some that so called armchair fans aren't as much fans as season ticket holders. If uv not noticed or sensed that then great. For me just wish we can all support in our own way without the bile that continues to stick to us.
