I actually thought we started quite brightly today.
First 5 minutes we had terrible misses from Kent and Arfield that would have put us on easy street.
Instead we got the breakthrough on the 8th minute after some brilliant work by Tav set up Colak to score the first of his excellent double.
At that point I thought it was going to be a case of how many.
But we then became slow and predictable and allowed Scumdee Utd back into the game which made it a nervy second half at times.
Not a good display against the bottom of the table side who recently conceded 9 to our biggest domestic rivals.
The way we have been playing recently, today was all about the 3 points.
We now have an International Break that will allow Gio to work on the trading ground and also get some of our injured players up to speed.

I always say a win is the most important, but the performance was dire. We were playing at home, against a team who are dug meat, rooted rock bottom of the league, who have been hammered more times than Lana Wolf, and for a lot of the game, it was a painful watch. The only positives was Colak, and seeing the 2 young lads start, and that was it.

Whether some want to admit it, or not, we are a poor team just now, and I am struggling to see how we can fix this. Gio looks lost on the sidelines, and very withdrawn. It's as If he's going through the motions. Just like a number of the players. I really hope he can sort this, but I think we're seeing the beginning of the end of him. Whether it's himself who'll make that decision, or the board, I feel that something is going to happen.

I'm not here to demand Gio's head as I really want him to succeed, but something is not right. I believe he's been let down badly by RW, and some on the board, but he has his own shortcomings, and the buck stops with him for performances on the park. He pucks the team, sets them up to play his way, chooses tactics, and decides who comes off, and who replaces them, and If we're being honest, it's all a bit sh£%e all round. What a downer! And before anyone starts, I know we won, but cards in the table here, is anyone confident of winning anything this season? I really was, but I'm not now.

I agree we had two great chances in first ten mins should have been 2up played some great attacking football then great play from Tav to make the chance for the opening goal then back to the horseshoe passing for the sake of passing I was bored watching it, you could hear the crowd getting restless they were not enjoying it, we should have been over the hill and far away but landed up wasting time from a corner in last minutes to secure the points, Gio has bought some time with the run to the final and qualifying for CL but more days like today will cost him his job that is not entertainment brutal.

I thought we played well.

Great to see King and McCann start and Colak back doing what he does best.

We were awful today. Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum, Arfield and Kent were terrible. Wright and Tillman were useless when they came on. Ryan Jack is not an attacking midfielder and was played out of position. McCann and king did ok. Colak and Borna were the best players for me. Struggling to get any positives from that performance against a bang average Dundee United.

It's almost as if we get sucked into the way the other team plays, they play well and we up our game, they play not so well and we drop our standards.

Was saying to a mate today, from being as proud last year as I can remember of my team, to this. Its like a bad dream.

Why not just bury them and then relax.

But overall it wasn’t a great game very boring at Parts should of been 3-0 in 10 mins.
