Clearly these boys aren't buying us to just compete, they want to be in the CL each and every year I would imagine. Can they sponsor us also, as that gets their brand right out there?

I would expect as major as they can, investment then in the playing staff to regain dominance.

Possible exciting times ahead fellow bears.

'if' it goes ahead. I can't see them using anything to do with their brand bar in Ibrox adverts. They will want revenue in quickly. Am pretty sure they will already have sponsors ready for when they become available.

Going to honest am not fully sure of this buyout. Maybe if they didn't have Leeds. We are bigger than Leeds when they are in championship, but when Leeds get to Epl, they then will generate huge amounts of revenue compared to what we can.

I still think we are being bought as a 5-10 year project to then be sold on again. Any person or company that wants 51% knows exactly what they are doing. They will class us I believe as the 'fallen giant' and yes we will have a huge more promoted brand around the world.

It's a trick one. I have mates who love the idea but still think new problems will appear and other that hate the idea but still will do anything to get the board out.

2.) 22 Feb 2025 10:27:51
I hope so with Celtic aiming at an 80,000 stadium we should be looking to similar long term filling the corners is not enough thinking too small.

You should never have such a large waiting list the amount of people who have wanted a season ticket and left waiting list because it just doesn't work must be massive an dif it's currently got 15,000 waiting I don't think 80 to 100,000 for me is what we should be aiming for.

And I know that would be years and years in future but it should be the aim.

3.) 22 Feb 2025 10:31:59
Cletus.

Sponsorship under UEFA fall under their Fair Market Value (FMV) rules.

A really simplified breakdown, using completely hypocritical numbers.

We haven't sold stadium naming rights, so a new owner could sponsor the stadium and let's say they sponsor us for £10m per season.

There is a FMV model that UEFA will use to calculate what is actually fair. Let's say this came out at £8m per year.

All that means is that the £8m is used in our turnover for the Cost Control calculations.

The other £2m is still allowed and we could then use this on infrastructure improvements that sit outside the Cost Control Calculations.

Also, don't underestimate the income we can generate through preseason US tours.

4.) 22 Feb 2025 10:48:35
I just can't see how they can make tons of money out of us. Yeah we can become profitable again, but investment needs to be re-couped, plus interest.

Merchandise, marketing etc will all help, but these guys are billionaires, they will be aiming to make millions out of this. They must have a big plan or this deal just wouldn't make financial sense to them or anyone.

5.) 22 Feb 2025 11:11:29
Aren't they about to sell Leeds to red bull? I thought I saw that online . maybe I'm wrong?

6.) 22 Feb 2025 11:12:22
Ok a lot of fair point but if we increase the capacity by another by 15-20 '000 then we would expect league titles and other trophies along side them so if the alleged t.

7.) 22 Feb 2025 11:16:02
So with all the speculation and rumours if we are indeed to sell to 49's they would expect at the very minimum league titles and trophies as well as a run in the CL why would they put money into a stadium to increase numbers without a return? I so wish this speculation was indeed true but until I see the signatures on the dotted line this is mere speculation.

8.) 22 Feb 2025 12:27:33
Major I'm thinking champions league money is their target initially as that could bring in 40mil a season though I'm not sure of the numbers and possibly they know something perhaps euro league or something similar in coming years - plus if stadium was to hit 70,000 capacity then season ticket money would be huge then throw in transfer deals perhaps in future selling for 15,20,25 mill - won't be overnight but this is where I see their main interest lies ??????.

9.) 22 Feb 2025 13:04:54
Has anyone considered if the season ticket price will be affected by this takeover, and would fans be willing to pay any increase, compared to down here our st are a good bit cheaper, I personally wouldn't have a problem with it within reason, ?

10.) 22 Feb 2025 13:08:14
They bought Leeds, and yes they will compete when promoted into the EPL, but Leeds won't compete in the Champions League any time soon. They might win a domestic cup but there us no way they will oust the established "big teams" when it comes to challenging for ECL spots or the title imo. Rangers are a better prospect in European terms than Leeds.

11.) 22 Feb 2025 13:28:18
I'm not sure we can increase the capacity to 80,000 I'm sure the foundations can't support it.

12.) 22 Feb 2025 13:37:07
No way Celtic will have a 80 thousand stadium. Rangers maybe increase the size to say 65 maximum. sure the leads owners help increase stadium size as it brings in more income in the long run makes business sense.

13.) 22 Feb 2025 14:09:52
Aye all good fella berrrrs, sorry am frae Glesca it's the way we talk.

14.) 22 Feb 2025 14:58:36
A good player trading model, champions league money and the huge and likely soon to be expanded fan base due to American owners has the potential to make a lot of money. That however requires a lot of things to go right that money can't necessarily buy, it requires good leadership at the top levels which I'd imagine they'll bring. There will be down sides but you have to take the good with the bad.

15.) 22 Feb 2025 19:04:48
I would think increasing capacity would be part of the plan, but adding tiers, filling corners, lowering the pitch might not be the way to go, demolishing the three stands and rebuilt with state of the art facilities could be the way to go. remember the stadiums in the US are phenomenal, fan engagement, match day experience I. e getting more of your cash is their bread and butter. The same road most notably spurs, Everton even the rebuilds of the bernabeu, nou camp etc have went down. More sponsors, more corporate hospitality, more concerts, other sports etc would all bring in serious cash. We could easily fill 65-70 thousand if the team were performing as well as giving more opportunities for the next generations of supporters to attend. You do have to speculate to accumulate after all, might be pie in the sky, but you never know. As for the manky lot, their order to Lego might take a while.

16.) 22 Feb 2025 22:39:28
A new state of the art stadium with a vastly increased capacity is what their plans will be long term with their own sponsors which financially will be great for the club.

The first thing they will do and must do is a new manager will be installed as they won't want the current manager wasting any of their money and making the club suffer anymore domestically.

17.) 22 Feb 2025 23:00:21
Thanks for that lads. Was actually going to ask you EHL and the others that have played the game what yous thought of Danilo as I haven't seen enough to form an opinion. But you spoke about him yesterday I think.

Love reading everyone's opinions and the debating on here. Hate it when we fall out or become nasty.

I shall be over next weekend for my bi annual pilgrimage ya dancer.

18.) 23 Feb 2025 06:32:20
Epl money could be better than champion league money and more reliable as long as Leeds could maintain a decent position.

31 Jan 2025 15:56:38
Reading that 6.75m will secure Cerny. I hope we can find this.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 31 Jan 2025 16:04:03
I don't because we need more than one player.

2.) 31 Jan 2025 16:22:02
I'll check down my sofa, can add to it if we all chip in…not being greedy, okay I am I was Sima back too!

3.) 31 Jan 2025 16:24:01
Look agree it's a lot
But he's well worth it
Deffo a great player
N makes our team so much better
And makes our euro squad a lot more competitive.

4.) 31 Jan 2025 16:31:51
Would love Cerny to sign.
But unfortunately can't see it.

5.) 31 Jan 2025 16:37:24
we were the same last year Storm with Sima and then we found Cerny who is on a par if slightly different in style. next year we will uncover another good loan signing. it is the way we will have to work now and probably will never be able to afford them for a while.

6.) 31 Jan 2025 16:46:26
Imagine he'd be looking for a heafty wage too which might put him out of our price range even if we could afford the fee. At this point, I trust Clement and Koppen to make the right call on him one way or another. Iv'e no doubt he'll always be held in high regard by Rangers fans after his stint this year, and I hope we can keep him till the end of the season.

7.) 31 Jan 2025 16:46:40
Think we would have to of sold someone for big money to achieve the Cerny deal, the player himself would need to be wanting it as well, not impossible if other deals in and out go our way but unlikely at moment, lifting the europa cup would help lol.

8.) 31 Jan 2025 16:55:33
Pay it over couple years it is possible.

9.) 31 Jan 2025 17:06:27
Can't see us paying anything like that for someone who will be 28 in a few months at that time. 4 year contract would make him prob 30/31 when we'd have to move him on and not making money back at that age on a winger.
Too much money for someone way out our player trading model I reckon.

10.) 31 Jan 2025 17:11:59
Very much doubt he will be back as a Rangers player after his loan spell. We can't afford that amount on one player.

11.) 31 Jan 2025 17:20:39
If true we have to buy him. I doubt after his performances that'd true though. As a club we're in a completely different place that we were 6 months ago, we've got sellable assets now that will make us big money in Raskin and Igamane, with Jefte and Nsiala looking promising for the model. It's time for the board to take a calculated gamble.

12.) 31 Jan 2025 17:34:23
Would honestly love too see it
As great addition to our team
N if we could manage some sort of deal I for one would be chuffed
Even if it was a payment spread over a few seasons.

13.) 31 Jan 2025 17:36:12
That wouldn't be too bad a price. Funds will be made available to the manager for summer transfers.

14.) 31 Jan 2025 17:38:38
6.75m is to much for someone his age imo, I think you could get him cheaper than that but if not just got to trust koppen to find someone esle.

15.) 31 Jan 2025 17:59:43
Sima didn't want to sign for us, cerny will be the same as he's raised his profile with performances. he will be playing in a better league.

16.) 31 Jan 2025 18:02:36
Angus we found the money for Cortez who in his loan stint was nowhere near the form Cerny has been in this season. For me Cerny is a must, in hindsight I wish the club had put an obligation to buy in the loan deal and agreed a fee. The way he has played and goals he's scored this season his value has easily doubled. An exciting player who I'd love to see at ibrox permanently.

17.) 31 Jan 2025 18:15:36
Even if we could find the fee, if any English clubs are interested say West Ham for example they would blow us out the water on wages. Pity good player, love the fact not scared to try a shot.

18.) 31 Jan 2025 18:27:49
9m so far from Europa. Be good if we could sign Cerny . but no chance we are paying 6.5. 5m at a push!

19.) 31 Jan 2025 18:39:10
Don't think Sima has raised his profile signing for Brest on loan so maybe Cerny won't look to raising his away from a massive club like the Teddy berrrs. Where was it reported that Sima didn't want to sign for us? He certainly didn't say it on any interview and Clement intimated he wanted to stay .

20.) 31 Jan 2025 19:11:08
Gms 9 million what? We have 17 million from Europa and that's not counting tickets sales etc….

21.) 31 Jan 2025 19:16:38
Where u getting 17 million, storm? U counting TV cash, 9 million earned so far not counting gate money, posted the breakdown earlier today.

22.) 31 Jan 2025 19:21:27
31 Jan 2025 09:29:51
Prize money excluding gate receipts

League phase participation - €4.31m (€4.14m down-payment and €170k balance) .

Win bonuses (Malmo, FCSB, Nice, Union Saint-Gilloise) - €450k x 4 = €1.8m

Draw bonuses (Olympiacos, Tottenham) - €150k x 2 = €300k

Qualification to the round of 16 of the competition - €1.75m

League ranking bonus - €2.175m (clubs receive €75k for each position higher in table)

Top eight finish in league phase - €600k

GUARANTEED TOTAL: €10.935m (£9.15m)

23.) 31 jan 2025 19:29:20
his agents will have epl all over they're eyes, imo.

24.) 31 Jan 2025 19:41:55
I could see us paying that, depends on structure of deal. A couple of good seasons and he'd still be able to be sold for decent money as well. He seems to be enjoying his time with us. I think wages would be the problem but hopefully we can get a deal done somehow.

25.) 31 Jan 2025 20:29:28
Prize money is 9mill storm. Just from the comp. Not sure if your counting co efficeint or tv money etc but prize money so far is 9mill am sure.

26.) 31 Jan 2025 20:56:46
6.5 can be spread over seasons with certain things like appearances etc, a 6.5 million fee anywhere in football is very rarely 6.5 million straight up. if rangers want cerny for 6.5 million rangers could get cerny for 6.5 million. would love to see rangers go back in for sima as well but i know we couldn't have both. a front 3 of sima hamza and cerny would be frightening.

27.) 31 Jan 2025 22:20:08
RFC, we didn't find the money for Cortes as it isn't due till this summer. that will reduce any finds we have for further signings. I just don't see us paying that sum for Cerny no matter how may years we spread the summoner; people do realise that affects further years signings.

we also have money for Dessers etc still o pay. he has been good for us but so was Sima and I think we can find the same or better again as loans to make our permanent signings better. trust int the process rather than the emotion I think is the way to go.

28.) 01 Feb 2025 09:30:14
Angus surely the funds for Cortes would have been budgeted? As would any further funds for investment. I do trust the process and it's great seeing the youth getting an opportunity but we do also need to invest in experience and quality Cerny has that for me but probably is out our price range. Think there has to be a good balance between youth and experience. I'm not a big fan of loans but the ironic thing is our loan record has been decent, where as we tend to make some bad permanent signings.

31 Mar 2024 16:16:42
So, as this is a rumours site, I have one, and you all know I don't know anyone in the know.

Anyhow, was in oswalds today and got chatting to a fella who is an ex saints player and food friends with the fergusons amongst others. He has told me Lewis will be coming at end of season or next. I did ask how we were funding it, and he said Tav will be away and others which will generate the money and free up wages.

Again, only passing on what I was told. Juicy enough if true.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 31 Mar 2024 16:41:10
Think you are talking over £30million for him now so l highly doubtful we missed the boat big time with Ferguson.

2.) 31 Mar 2024 16:42:18
It's a rumours site, but that's nonsense.

Hes going for 30m. We aren't doing that.

3.) 31 Mar 2024 16:42:28
Lewis ferguson coming to rangers ????
Sorry mate but he’s pulling your pisser.

4.) 31 Mar 2024 17:08:25
Fair play for posting a rumour bit this ain't happening sorry.

5.) 31 Mar 2024 17:14:25
That's what I think also, he's well out our range, but the guy seemed genuine enough. Straight out of Derek's mouth according to him.

6.) 31 Mar 2024 17:17:54
Rebecca Ferguson playing at Edmiston House maybe.

7.) 31 Mar 2024 17:29:53
I hold my hands up regarding lewis ferguson as i didn't think he was good enough for our midfield, at the time we were linked with him but how wrong i was because he's proved how good a midfielder he is ?I think looking back now, we did miss the boat big time, not signing him from the sheep ? But we sure as hell won't be signing him now, as he's out our reach by a distance now ☹️ Regarding tav leaving cletusvandamme tav won't be leaving rangers imo mate ? He'll be here next season and will then probably be offered a new 2 year deal as after next season, he'll only have one season left, until his contract runs out ie.2026?I think tav will finish his career effectively at rangers ?.

8.) 31 Mar 2024 17:47:44
Why are we having ago at a regular poster. It’s a rumour site and he’s told us what he’s heard. No wonder guys hold things back.

9.) 31 Mar 2024 17:59:51
He probably will end up with us one day but sadly it’ll be at the back end of his career as we have made a complete balls up on that one.

10.) 31 Mar 2024 18:39:29
Only way he comes to us is bosman, and a huge signing on fee plus mega wages.
I'm not a fan btw!

11.) 31 Mar 2024 18:46:44
It's never happening, Cleetus! I would love it to be true, but whoever told you this, is either pulling your leg, or been fed duff info and decided to pass it on.
If L Ferguson joins us this season, I'll run naked up and down Sauchiehall St. That ain't happening! L Ferguson ain't happening!

12.) 31 Mar 2024 18:50:30
We ain't spending 2 years transfer budget on Lewis Ferguson.

13.) 31 Mar 2024 20:29:33
Good singer tbf Dado or if its the actress I'd pay just to look at her?.

14.) 31 Mar 2024 20:31:57
Think Tav could go and prob a few others, just wait n see, think there may be a surprise or 2, u never know. Fergie 2 dear now, think it a no.

15.) 31 Mar 2024 22:27:29
Singer i was referring to fork but the actress i had to google. Darling ??.

16.) 31 Mar 2024 23:03:50
See her lipsynching "Never Enough" in " The Greatest Showman", I'd swear she was singing it, it's a gd watch. Aye she's stunning Dado ?.

17.) 31 Mar 2024 23:13:16
I would love it if your man was correct Cletus as another Ferguson in the Royal blue would be a joy to behold. No.6 Ferguson on the back yes please and i'm sure that would be a dream for Lewis and his Da and the blue half of the Ferguson family. I had to google that woman as well Fork as i'm not a big watcher of soap operas especially Swedish ones but aye i would rather her than Susan Boyle.

18.) 31 Mar 2024 23:54:45
Lol cheers, she's in the recent Mission Impossible films, Greatest Showman, a few other gd films and excellent in the series "The White Queen", big fan bud??.

19.) 01 Apr 2024 10:38:36
Three cheers ?? what's wrong with Subo?

20.) 01 Apr 2024 11:55:34
He dreamed a dream??.

21.) 01 Apr 2024 12:18:34
Having a go at people on here is basically having a different opinion. Get a grip.

22.) 01 Apr 2024 12:59:26
The boy wants to come to Rangers, unfortunately will not now be this year. Well done Coops for admitting you made a regular mistake on the subject.

23.) 01 Apr 2024 15:35:46
Nothing wrong with Subo Dado. I don't want to incriminate myself and have police Scotland at my door for participating in hate crimes against overweight opera singers. It's a personal thing that i have a phobia with folk who have more than 3 chins and 4 of them are hairy.

24.) 01 Apr 2024 16:43:23
He will end up at Rangers at some point but right now it's more like Barron at the sore arses and Cameron at Dundee.

25.) 01 Apr 2024 18:28:22
Burns. I’d be delighted if we got the two u name.

26.) 01 Apr 2024 18:44:47
Almost as likely as Mbappe.

27.) 01 Apr 2024 23:37:48
There is 4/ 5 young Scottish players I would be happy if rangers bought any of them.

28.) 02 Apr 2024 10:40:05
test the gorgie sore arses with a cheeky bid for Cochrane, we will probably need 2 left backs soon and he would do fine.

29.) 02 Apr 2024 17:26:38
Three cheers ???.

30.) 03 Apr 2024 21:32:39
Burns a lot of talk the boy Cameron is hearts bound and barron to Swansea.

I'd personally prefer watson, miller and armstrong.

31.) 04 Apr 2024 15:17:38
Miller and Armstrong yes should also go for Cochrane and Cameron if we can shift a few out .

32.) 06 Apr 2024 12:50:43
Remember all the experts who used to come in here re Lewis Ferguson and stated he was “not rangers class” whatever that even means ??

To know how good someone is before he’s even been coached by the manager, or trained with the team but still said he wasn’t good enough…

Missed the boat is an understatement ???.

27 Jan 2022 20:12:49
Glen Kamara is being linked with a summer move to Aston Villa.

According to the English press Kamara is considered the cheaper option to the £50million-rated Yves Bissouma (Brighton), but Rangers will still demand a large sum of money for their star midfielder if any deal is to happen.

So, 35m then and he's yours.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 27 Jan 2022 20:43:15
Anything above 15mill would be great but if business for 50k signing.

2.) 27 Jan 2022 20:55:17
Never going to be 35 when the guys got a clause in his contract which is nowhere near that.

3.) 27 Jan 2022 21:09:58
A summer move at a proper fee would work so long as we have someone of similar quality to bring in to replace him. We just mustn't sell him this month.

4.) 27 Jan 2022 21:47:05
Yeah anything north of £15m is outstanding.

5.) 28 Jan 2022 00:59:50
He just signed a new deal remember. Also how do you know he a clause in his contract?

6.) 28 Jan 2022 01:36:35
Willg125 do you know that for certain? Fabulous info if so.

7.) 28 Jan 2022 04:51:27
What people need to keep in mind kamara did us a favour signing extension knowing he would move at some point didn't have to allowing us to get a fee so respect to kamara when he does go no matter the fee.

8.) 28 Jan 2022 11:54:51
I'd be looking for north of 20 million with add ons. Or 20 with 15% of next transfer plus add ons. If its between him and a 50 million player from BRIGHTON! 💙👍.

9.) 28 Jan 2022 12:33:20
The article state rangers looking for £15m 😂 so some second rater from Brighton is £50m but we're looking for £15m for a top international approaching his prime.

10.) 28 Jan 2022 12:40:33
If we lose Kamara or Morelos this late we would struggle that would instantly give the Tim’s a shot in the arm.

11.) 28 Jan 2022 12:34:33
Kamara wouldn’t be missed and doesn’t suit the way forward. Anything above 14m would be very good business. Before I get battered I am being realistic. Expect Soutar in before window closes. Great loan deals and our young players at last being given the chance to shine. I expect the GIO years to be a wee bit more successful although thank you to SG and the board.

Good times ahead. 😁.

25 Jul 2019 11:55:14
You guys know I don't post rumours as I generally don't know any lol. However I was playing football last night (at my age I know) and one guy who is a ST holder says he knows someone who is pals with someone fairly high up within Ibrox. Tenuous so far, well he reckons Kent WILL sign on loan again.
So there you have it Bears and Bearettes, not quite the garage sightings but it's dodgy enough lol.
Anyhow, looking for at least 5 without reply tonight. Mon the Bears.

Cletusvandamme

1.) 25 Jul 2019 13:16:27
Think your pals guy "high up" may just be every news outlet mate. He'll be another one of those who pass fake info on n claim to be "in the know" lol. P. s your never too old to be playing football big man 👍 hope your right 5 sounds god tonight.

2.) 25 Jul 2019 17:37:19
To take a two goal advantage would be good anything more fantastic.

3.) 25 Jul 2019 19:10:44
Pals high up - does he sit in the Club Deck?

4.) 25 Jul 2019 23:22:27
Av a feeling Kent will signed for another year too and I do sit in the club deck ( very tight ) but great view.

5.) 25 Jul 2019 23:35:55
Cletusvandamme,
I'm not convinced that we actually need Kent anymore. I would like to see Rangers replace the Candyman with someone a bit more productive than he was. Can Kent play as a right winger
Always seems to play on the left wing.

6.) 25 Jul 2019 23:36:32
The player has apparentely begUn digging his heels in to male the move happen, only time will tell but here's hoping.

7.) 25 Jul 2019 23:37:40
High up with in ibrox = season ticket in club deck.

8.) 26 Jul 2019 01:20:26
Yogi we have ojo who can play wide on the right and bring kent back. But i honestly think we will buy him if we sell fredo . He does more with the ball than danny candy takes defenders out the way drags the all over the camp is quck and skillful klopp said he's a fantastic talent well he's correct but is he good enough to get into that champions league winning side a don't think so quite yet.

9.) 26 Jul 2019 02:47:49
Cletus.
Did your friend ever dance with a girl who danced with a man whose wife danced with the Prince of Wales?

As I said Magyar, tenuous to say the least. It is a rumours site after all. Unless someone has been told by Stevie or Mark Allen themselves, should they not post what they've heard?

'However big we expand Ibrox, we know we'll fill it'.

These are very interesting words. Is there a limit to what we can feasibly do with our ground?

Anyone itk regarding this?

Conducting surveys as we speak.

2.) 24 Jun 2025 10:38:22
Great stuff but definitely a while away but until then hope they can improve outside the stadium, would hope that's feasible sooner.

3.) 24 Jun 2025 10:40:29
Good to hear asathor.

4.) 24 Jun 2025 10:49:22
Thanks Asa.

5.) 24 Jun 2025 10:57:49
Would just like it to be bigger than theirs but not sure our max could be.

6.) 24 Jun 2025 11:08:48
The Copland and Broomloan are feasible and a third tier on both is possible with minimal disruption. Cost will have to be assessed but sound like options are being explored.

7.) 24 Jun 2025 11:43:16
Doesn't necessarily have to be bigger. just better. Better entrance, better facilities, better experience in all areas. And a winning team.

8.) 24 Jun 2025 12:02:58
The costs will ultimately pay themselves back over time and now we have the financial backing to do what's required there will no doubt be some sort of expansion happening.

9.) 24 Jun 2025 12:17:47
Agree colonel but would also love it to be bigger and eventually crush them in every area - but more important things currently the starting 11 and squad to be ready for the season ahead.

10.) 24 Jun 2025 12:26:44
Sounds like a few have given up there season tickets this season as the club are now filling them off the waiting list.
Like everything it boils down to having a successful team because if we don't we don't need extra capacity. How many games was Ibrox actually full last season, not many.

11.) 24 Jun 2025 12:41:31
If I can remember correctly I read a while back that we can't dig any further down the way, think our only option was to take away the big screens. Can anyone confirm or correct me on this?

12.) 24 Jun 2025 12:38:07
Been saying for a while. Stick the big screens outside the stadium with seated paying area. More seats inside and out.
Not sure of the logistics for it thou.

13.) 24 Jun 2025 12:41:14
Kingandulster, yeah i think the reason we can't drop the pitch wa sdue to the water table from the clyde.

14.) 24 Jun 2025 12:44:34
Surrounding areas of the stadium are a joke, potholes everywhere, the walkway up to stadium from subway station could be doing with new surface or paving with lights all along the walkway walking up to stadium.

15.) 24 Jun 2025 12:45:29
I know it's been looked at for years but what could attendance realistically be increased to? Would love it to be more than them for revenue but don't think we can. Always came back to difficulties as listed building.

16.) 24 Jun 2025 13:25:38
I'm sure they will explore all the options for stadium expansion. Not sure how far you want them to improve outside the stadium, the road from the tube might be covered in pot holes but I think it's beyond our priorities for the time being.

17.) 24 Jun 2025 13:35:48
I'm sure when Willie Waddel had a look at a few German stadiums, he came up with our plan and it was built with the contingency of adding on up to 70k or thereabouts.
Stadium design has changed, but the structure is there to be expanded, I'm sure.

18.) 24 Jun 2025 13:48:33
Cletus

Of course there's limit to size/ depth any new stadium. Main stand club bastion/ Penistone but it is untouchable due to architectural rules/ regs making building round it difficult. I'll be first to say it new ibrox looks c@@@ and needs proper rebuild and not present cheap brickwork. Only reasonatble enlargement is building up. 3 new stands of 3 tier each all seated giving Ibrox 70k maximum capacity. My only downer with this only fit for football. If oval 3 tier 70k stadium perfect all large events and a revenue earner. Just a thought.

19.) 24 Jun 2025 14:00:49
My thinking was a mixture of all your replies lads, hence the question. So the only way is up, as yazz quite rightly pointed out. Fill in the corners and build up from the stands then seems the only feasible option?

Crazy idea, but would you be up for a brand new stadium, 80k seats.

Thanks for posting that 3 cheers. Really like the sound of him now, having been sceptical, and am excited to see what he manages to get our club performing like.

Mustcatin2

Just guessing, but I think it was tongue in cheek.

3.) 05 Jun 2025 09:04:31
Lighting up Muscat stop acting like a spoilt child.

4.) 05 Jun 2025 09:24:53
Muscat relax, give him a chance and maybe you'll be surprised, 25 games unbeaten in the championship a league that has ours looking like schoolboy stuff.

Gotta laugh, a week ago we were turning our noses up at the suggestion of Jose.

I'd certainly take him now, if he were on offer, no question.

Thanks lads. I did read before asking on here and the reason I asked was not publicly trading shares. Just thought there may be some deeper reasons. Thanks for the replies though.
