We all need to stop selling our players short Ross McCrorie apparently away for £3 million if that's his fee lundsturm and glen are worth over £6million each easy.

its a very good point by the op. kamara is a far far better player than mccrorie. aberdeen have done an amazing job securing £3m for him. i have to say i'd be demanding bidding start a lot higher than some fans value kamara at. i'd start biidding at £6m after seeing mccrorie go but imo kamara is easily worth £15m in todays market, i valued him at £20m under gerrard. his forms dipped he's had injuries and not played a lot recently but we have to expect to atleast get £5m for him. he s a very very good mf.

stevie, there's a few factors in what is paid for a player, main being,

what a club is willing to pay fir a certain type, and age, wages expected etc,

kamara wage will be far higher than ross, that could affect what a club will pay, all about value, economics and how much a club needs a certain type, we have paid some players far less for giving far more than higher earners, but those guys were paramount at the time, kamara may well go for less but might attract a higher wage, demand and supply.

I understand that there are a few clubs interested in Kamara. Between 4 and 6 is what I heard. I'm interested to see what value Rangers put on him and what the clubs (2 French and 2 German is what I heard. and maybe one or two English) are willing to pay. I'm hoping that we are all in for a surprise. (not a shock. a surprise)
