see max johnston now wanted bu torino aswell as sporting lisbon.
1.) 02 Jun 2023 14:19:45
Can’t see that happening now we have brought Sterling in.
2.) 02 Jun 2023 14:40:44
Don’t think you can have too many good players. Could even send him or Devine (or both) on loan for a season.
3.) 02 Jun 2023 15:29:05
He won't join to be Second/ Third Choice. Be surprised if he doesn't go to Italy giving how well that's worked for the other Scots.
4.) 02 Jun 2023 16:49:57
I think Johnston might fancy Boro or Sunderland, where is his father Alan working now?
5.) 02 Jun 2023 17:54:04
Callum u think Johnson will be first choice, England Portugal Italy.
He was not classed top five in Motherwell Academy.
The lad we want would be Miller.
6.) 02 Jun 2023 17:55:19
I don’t think we are interested.
7.) 02 Jun 2023 18:32:18
i think if he went to one of these countries john he'd be 2nd choice, straight back uo but with a view that he will get games and if takes his chamce will get the jersey.
the foreign clubs have cortoned onto the fact sivning brithish players you g and playi g them they do a job and then the english clubs come calling with mega bucks. see ferguson doig moving in the summer for good money.
8.) 02 Jun 2023 18:42:59
Lennon Miller Lee boys John? never seen him but heard plenty good things about him.
9.) 02 Jun 2023 18:48:17
We are interested and have offered him a contract.
I said a few days ago that PL and championship clubs had also offered him one but going by reports he’s also got offers all over Europe.
10.) 02 Jun 2023 20:00:15
Beale an absolute fantastic player.
11.) 02 Jun 2023 20:38:15
Hibs and Motherwell have got a few gems in the lower ages John.
We should be absolutely keeping an eye on their squads.
12.) 02 Jun 2023 20:38:32
I have seen Lennon miller play quite a few times played against my boy for his school few times he was head and shoulders above anyone else on the park and score a couple of great free kicks from ridiculous angles. Very good young player if he sticks in.
13.) 02 Jun 2023 20:58:46
I've not seen Johnston play, but I'm all for us taking a chance on young Scottish talent.
I did speak to some of the Scottish Youth coaches and the general consensus was that he'd be leaving Scottish football.
14.) 03 Jun 2023 03:53:10
If Johnstone signs for Sporting or Torino he's 100% first choice sporting needing a RB since Porro and singo is likely to leave for Inter, Milan or Napoli.
So yes I do think Johnston would be first for these two clubs.
15.) 03 Jun 2023 07:52:49
Callam doesn’t mean either team won’t sign another right back also.
16.) 03 Jun 2023 10:17:46
Cannot see Johnston being sp number one rb.
17.) 03 Jun 2023 14:01:59
Lennon Miller, I wonder what team his family support?
18.) 03 Jun 2023 14:19:16
Is that Lee Millers boy? big man was a trier wasn't shy, bared his arse to Dundee Hibs fans .
19.) 03 Jun 2023 15:37:25
I never said they wouldn't sign another RB but both teams have plenty of RBs who aren't very good, Johnston would be up against a rather defeated bellerin who sporting fans don't like.
More chance at getting into those teams than he would us.
29 May 2023 18:53:27
john25 or anyone in the k kw for that matter, can i ask?
do yous have any info on the current situation around evertons tom davies coming to us? is it a case of him or the ecuadorian lad from lafc is it cifuentes? or are we going to be in for both? i know the cifuentes deal looks likely and we even have a wage of 11k a week being said for him so suggests its a definitely goer for me. however tom davies for me is an outstanding mf and i'm wondering the info anyone has ont hay matter. now that everton have stayed up they will look to improve the squad and will make big changes. he's not been a regular why i don't k ow cause for me hea a great mf player. reminds me of stuart mccall. any genuine info would be appreciated.
1.) 30 May 2023 07:07:29
Beale has met Davies twice. My feeling is he is no longer a number one choice. Not with dowell and cifuentes coming in.
2.) 30 May 2023 14:11:39
I'm not so sure on that, John. I keep hearing conflicting reports on Davies. Lampard wanted to sell Davies but it was clear that he needed to have surgery which consequently meant that a transfer at the time made no sense. Beale was certainly interested in Davies at that time and my understanding from folks close to Everton, (as well as folks at Liverpool Echo), was that Davies was interested.
I have been told that Dyche will not offer him a new contract although again I have heard stories to the contrary and that contract talks were put on hold until Everton's position in the EPL was clarified, and also that he has had interest from. other EPL Teams, (although who they are is only rumour at present) .
There is now rumour that Dyche will not remain at Everton and there are serious issues at the Club at present, most of which are well documented, which suggests that everything is a bit up in the air at present.
Davies would be a great addition for Rangers and he would have no difficulty settling in Glasgow. I am told that he is back to full fitness and wants a guarantee on first team football. His weekly wage would need to be around the £30k a week mark, (I understand that he is currently on £25k a week at Everton.
3.) 30 May 2023 15:24:04
thanks very much for info both john and bb, ??
both infos sound good although conflicting both seem very well informed. it does seem it would be cifuentes or davies though doesn't it?
having not seen cifuentes i would prefer davies a s i really really rate him. i think we could get him on a free at £30k a week 4 year deal amd sell him in 2 years for a good £15m no problem, aslong as no major injuries.
i take on board dowell is likely a first choice so throw in easkin and cantwell it leaves 1 place for starti g 11 and its likely to be one of botb said players.
cheers guys be interesting to follow.
please keep me in the loop if yous here anything re tom davies ??.

1.) 09 Jun 2023 19:11:49
I think we might play a diamond with 2 up ?.
2.) 09 Jun 2023 19:46:52
We've been playing two up top for as long as treble remembers.
3.) 09 Jun 2023 21:23:21
Half your team is players that ain’t being signed so not pointless until we get those players in.
4.) 09 Jun 2023 21:25:48
Lol R1 class ? i reckon we play 4321 like he wanted to play when he arrived, will have the players for it now.
5.) 09 Jun 2023 21:32:28
Trusty won't be there and an injury free john souttar plays for me.
6.) 09 Jun 2023 21:39:02
There will be at least 2 formations within the game, attack and defensive formations and that will change from SPL to Europe. Think it will be something modern, nothing like what has been mentioned.
7.) 09 Jun 2023 23:01:45
Sws can i ask how you know Trusty won't be here? because you read a stupid article on him? Beale has meet with him,4m all day long.
8.) 09 Jun 2023 23:06:45
TJBB 56, you're almost there, mate. There won't be any set 'FM' type formation as we modernise. There will be different players, line ups, strategies for different games, different opponents, different environments.
What might work on a cold Wednesday night in Dingwall won't do against a team in Spain. We could use three, two, one or even none deep in midfield, we could use one, two or three in attack and three, four or five at the back. Wide or narrow will depend on circumstances. Fluidity will be the watchword and our coaching staff will work hard on that while the players we sign will reflect that. New team, new ideas, new thinking. Exciting times ahead.
9.) 09 Jun 2023 23:24:44
Correct Beale changes playing styles for different teams and if not working changes in match.
03 Jun 2023 16:42:48
i see ross mccrorie is off to bristol city for £3m fee has been agreed. well done to aberdeen for getting that fee for him.
is anyone aware if we are due any % of the fee as part of the deal?
1.) 03 Jun 2023 17:12:23
Sure there is.
2.) 03 Jun 2023 17:59:18
20% I think but someone like John will know for sure.
3.) 03 Jun 2023 18:13:02
Pretty sure we due 10%. So not bad wee bonus.
4.) 03 Jun 2023 18:43:23
There is definitely a sell on clause, at least 10% but hopefully more!
5.) 03 Jun 2023 19:04:11
Only watched big Ross a few times for the sheep, but I actually thought he had went back the way and never good enough for Rangers never mind £3 million.
6.) 03 Jun 2023 19:12:32
15% it is.
7.) 03 Jun 2023 19:16:10
Its not 3mil, its potentially 3mil in add ons.
8.) 03 Jun 2023 20:10:50
cheers guys, atleast were getting something.
i thought was always a good player in yhere its just he's so versatile its hard to pin him down as something specific.
hes going to go and have a very financialy beneficial career down south for that exact reason so all the very best to him Nd wish him every success ❤️??.
9.) 03 Jun 2023 20:37:52
its £3m ethel.
same as we count aribo and bassey etc.
we get the agreed % whethwr its add ons or uprfont. we get said % of each payment mate.
24 May 2023 11:57:02
not rangers related but i see real madrid are after andy robertson to replace mendy at left back, looking to bid 40m/ € or £s dunno which but are liverpool likely to accept this for him, they have tsimakas whos a decent player. could they accept this and even bid for tierney to replace him.
thoughts guys and esp ed as i know your a liverpool man?
{Ed001's Note - why would Liverpool want Tierney? He is injury prone and not as good as Tsimikas. I would personally let Robertson go if he wants the move as the money would be useful and Tsimikas is pretty much a carbon copy. Plus there are 3 very good young left-backs coming through, especially Chambers. I doubt there is any truth in it, though they do need a left-back as they had to play a midfielder there most of the season due to Mendy's injuries.}
1.) 24 May 2023 12:26:11
tatly get the injury prone part with tierney mate and correct i rate tsimakas just thought i'd ask for your thoughts mate. i can see it happening tbh mate the robbo move. camacinga had told them he wants to play mf next season not happy at left back. apparently arsenal in for mendy. robbo for me is tol 3 left backs in world i like the boy at inter milan he's top tol drawel can't mind his name its 'di' something i believe high squad number crazy haircut. and tbh cancelo has to be up there aswell with alphonso davies who madrid also considering but could be looking at £70/ 80m euros sorry.
{Ed001's Note - Dimarco? Cancelo is a right-back really, though bloody good at left-back, he is even better on the right.}
2.) 24 May 2023 12:27:33
also ed seen ut post about jones i remember asking u about his availibilty on loan mext season u said unlikely and his injuries may see him not fulfill his potenrial. i see him as furure england regular and world class player if he can stay injury free. really rate the lad and have done for few years now.
{Ed001's Note - I love Jones, if he can stay fit I fully agree with you. Injuries are all that are holding him back.}
3.) 24 May 2023 12:53:37
thats the very man ed, di marco for me may well be the best left back in the world i just don't see enough of him but any time i watch him i'm like 'wow' what a player.
really hope jones fulfills his potential. and with elliot in there aswwell u have a future mf for 10 years although need 1 more to finish the set with henderson and fabinho backing uo the injuries etc maybe even 2 brougt in. although u do have a few you gsters coming thru.
id like rk see robbo go tk madrid just as a scotland fan it would be brilliant i'd he went and won champ league with 2 of biggest clubs in the world. long way from queens park. great pro and too guy.
{Ed001's Note - or move Alexander-Arnold properly into midfield and use Bradley and Ramsay as the right-backs? I would hate to see Robbo go to that scummy fascist club that are a state-backed club. Everything Man City are doing was done by them first when it comes to financial doping. Horrible club that Franco used to sportswash his vile regime.}
4.) 24 May 2023 13:47:26
That could work turning him into a midfielder ed world class footballer.
5.) 24 May 2023 13:54:42
i knoe they are state ran mate most clubs with real meaning royal in spanish have had some form of state finince over the years if i'm correct?
alex arnold would be a great mf imo definetely.
is ramset good enough in your oppinion tk step uo to liverpool 1st choice? i don't know anythi g about bradley mate is he good?
with arnold in mf he would be taking elliots place tho would he not?
{Ed001's Note - that's not what that means. Real is royal, royalty is not the state in Spain. Madrid were a special case used by Franco as the original sportswashing team.
Bradley is excellent, better than Ramsay imo. I would not have wasted money on bringing Ramsay in personally and just used Bradley more last season rather than sending him on loan. He won pots there though so hopefully he has done enough to convince Klopp.
I would expect it to be Henderson who is phased out for TAA.}
6.) 24 May 2023 14:03:11
Hate Real Madrid and City.
7.) 24 May 2023 14:20:02
good info ed cheers mate.
always had soft spot for your club as they're supporters are immense and stevie g is my all time favourite playwr. hopefully yius get it right in the summer. pity u can't get bellingham as he would be the difference in the title race imo.
{Ed001's Note - I would love Bellingham and Gvardiol and then I would be wetting myself with excitement. Though at my age that tends to happen without excitement as well!}
8.) 24 May 2023 14:42:21
Bellingham is top class. Future England captain, no doubt about it.
{Ed001's Note - he is a special talent.}
9.) 24 May 2023 14:43:44
Laughing at that ?.
10.) 24 May 2023 14:50:09
well i hope that works iut for h mate but unfortunately his price is too high for liverpool atm i think, is that the case? for me he's sk like stevie g its unbelievable he's made for liverpoll number 8. maybe money and players could swing it for u.? would love to see him uk against de bruyne in the epl. what a contest. if city got him its game over for everyone if pool or utd get him its game on. am 37 mate and i'm partial tk a bit of drippinv aswell so don't worry about it ??.
{Ed001's Note - if we had offload some players that we don't really need, I think the money could be raised. They are willing to pay a large fee of Mac Allister, who I like but is no Bellingham. Better to keep that money and put it towards Bellingham I would say. Liverpool's squad is so bloated it should be easy to put the club in a position it can afford to spend money. It is bad squad management that is the issue at Liverpool. The club has not been ruthless enough and it needs to start being so now.}
11.) 24 May 2023 15:01:41
laughing at what beale mate?
12.) 24 May 2023 15:11:36
The ed comment, wetting, stevie.
{Ed001's Note - I wasn't sure either and was afraid to ask.}
12 May 2023 12:24:23
Hello there guys, Stevie 2 here. My phone is in getting fixed and I can’t remember my password so I’m StevieG3 now lol.
With the rumours of the lad sterling and the boy from Arsenal coming in, is anyone else thinking we look like setting up with a back 3 next season?
We have Tav and Devine at Rb so I don’t see the boy coming in as a rb and although he can play Lb, I don’t see us signing a right footer to play Lb. With the American boy being by all accounts rapid fast and naturally left footed, could both play either side of Goldson?
I don't see any of the 2 signing unless given assurances of being first choice starters unless out of form. So that suggests to me we could be looking at a back 3.
Obviously this is just an observation as I didn’t previously think we would start with a back 3 next season.
What’s the thoughts guys?
1.) 12 May 2023 12:50:13
Still can't see him playing 3cb's could be wrong, Sterling can play numerous positions.
2.) 12 May 2023 13:36:15
Beale did say when him and stevie here they had a set up with but never got to use it so you can't rite it of.
3.) 12 May 2023 15:11:13
More options gives him a chance to mix it up abit, I would love to see us do this more often and javing a plan A, B, C.
The 433 and its different variations seems to be his preference but be good to be able change formation, players and tactics when needed.
4.) 12 May 2023 16:12:18
The boy from Arsenal is not coming in unless we give Stan Kroenke much more than £2 million ? he wants more than we can pay.
5.) 12 May 2023 17:22:36
not seen the American lad ay gregory but by all accounts he's a top player so £2m does seem rather low unless there's a hefty sell on included perhaps 40% or something.
Danny Wildon played 70 odd times with the boy in America and said he's a crackjng player and worth way more than £2m
see how it develops.
6.) 12 May 2023 18:14:22
Gregory did u speak to Stan.
7.) 12 May 2023 21:18:30
No John, but I spoke to his son Josh at the Emirates at the Chelsea game last Tuesday in our companies box - Stan owns the boy mate make no mistake about that and he is going nowhere for less than £8 million - good enough for you?
10 Jun 2023 17:44:27
sky sports are more reliable when it comes to transfers than any other press outlet i'd believe them before any other and they have sky italy who will be on tol of this assell.
10 Jun 2023 16:52:35
tav has stated the only club he would leave rangers for is leeds. he would line to plag for his home town club he supported as a boy. i'd be asking £8m.
09 Jun 2023 16:24:18
anterll wouldn't get a game for spurs.
09 Jun 2023 16:22:43
could be our answer to jota.
hipe we pull it off.
09 Jun 2023 16:22:09
i think this boy is going to be a similar to jean claude darcheville, boy was some player btw.
i have faith in the manager and also think this boy will be 2nd choice with roofe 3rd.
think there's another striker to come in as first choice.
11 Jun 2023 09:55:05
ed myself and u had a chat about di marco a month or so ago mate when discussin the best left backs in the world. i really rate the boy, for me its him davies and robbo, cancelo maybe in there.
{Ed001's Note - he has become a key player for Inter that is for sure. I can't see them holding on to him now. They need money and have to sell some players.}
09 Jun 2023 16:25:16
it for me too many injuries and just don't think he suits our style.
05 Jun 2023 05:46:14
its a very good point by the op. kamara is a far far better player than mccrorie. aberdeen have done an amazing job securing £3m for him. i have to say i'd be demanding bidding start a lot higher than some fans value kamara at. i'd start biidding at £6m after seeing mccrorie go but imo kamara is easily worth £15m in todays market, i valued him at £20m under gerrard. his forms dipped he's had injuries and not played a lot recently but we have to expect to atleast get £5m for him. he s a very very good mf.
05 Jun 2023 05:33:28
poir mans ryan kent lol.
03 Jun 2023 20:37:52
its £3m ethel.
same as we count aribo and bassey etc.
we get the agreed % whethwr its add ons or uprfont. we get said % of each payment mate.
