Raskin and butland only two who turned up on Saturday. Love to understand why we have 4 pre season games and not once does he play the team that he goes with on Saturday, which was mind boggling around the cantwell decision never mind anything else. Big month for Beale coming up.

Cantwell has done enough in his time at the club to be a starter until his form dictares otherwise and if that means Lammers get moved so be it.

The pre season schedule was so daft I don’t care what his reasoning was. We’ve gone into the season on somewhat of a negative after one of the worst pre seasons I can remember. Season starts and you think right onto the real stuff but the negative is still hanging around and has just magnified the problems we saw in the first game of the season. If we lose on Wednesday the pressure on Beale will be massive and I don’t think he realises how unhappy some of the support are right now. Heard all his talk since he came in about having his own team and implementing his own standards and all he’s managed to do since the end of the season is make us worse. Very very concerning.

very interesting the cantwell situation, maybe purely a good reason, sickness etc, or something more? the window has a few twists and turns to go yet.

Just wondering if cantwells golf during week had something to do with Saturday as no other reason comes to mind . The concern for me on Saturday other than performance was Beales comments “18 shots on goal possession etc etc . ( pisx) what he missed was only 4 on target and created nothing and played slower than ever even though he promised in your face up and at them . For me after pre season and Saturday shambles he needs to get through to champs league or we shd move on . New signings offered nothing and tactics were as if nothing has changed . Ryan Jack coming on to save game never going to happen . Even Raskin was struggling Sat with tactics, long ball and created nothing . Big cpl of weeks coming and hopefully all good and everything bfore gets forgotten.

David, it isn't just the rank and file support that are unhappy with Saturday's result, believe me.
Tom, if Cantwell hadn't been fully fit then surely he wouldn't have been on the bench? My main problem, Cantwell apart, was Lundstram being in that team and the total lack of tactics.
