No momentum from week to week. One step forward two steps back. You can keep saying 3 points and clean sheet all you want but sooner or later we’ll get done by one of these teams we are absolutely riding our luck here.

Thank god for Lundstrams resurgence this season and a safe pair of hands in Butland, the only two who stepped up today.

Sadly I think until the international break it will be a case of grinding out wins. Missing Cantwell, Raskin, Lawrence and Danilo all of who for me are first team starters is a huge part of our creative spark. If we can win all our games to the international break it will set us up well for those players returning.

Well, when we don't win you can always come back and say - ‘I told you so’.

Until then Beale needs to keep doing what he does best which is winning games of football. The highest win rate of any manger in our 150 year history and he’s been here for about 45 games now.

Seeing us win the League Cup might calm a few people down. When Beale has a trophy above his head that is real world tangible success. If people complain about the not being entertained despite winning it then I give up.

Storm doing his usual and getting personal with people who have a different opinion to him. That's why I stopped replying to him for ages. Decided to let it go and replied to him a couple of times. Wish I hadn't bothered as he never changes.
