Good luck Steven Davis. Here's hoping he can scrape us thru this week and we can use break to bring in a proper manager with experience. Hopefully some players will be back then too so can start to get a team back playing properly too. Unfortunately wil still be stuck with the rubbish MB brought in.

The board could stick with Davis until Christmas or beyond. We don’t know what their plan is. Just look what happened during the Murty season. We are officially without a manger and in free fall. We have hired an interim manager from within as predicted. I expect nothing short of disaster from this.

Well Beale was a disaster so he can’t do any worse than him.

Verdant, you are becoming monotonous now. Beale and his motley crew have gone. They are history. It didn't work out. Some of us got it wrong when we wanted him appointed, let's accept that and move on.
The Board now need to get their next appointment 100% correct and it is therefor important that they don't rush into things. Perhaps the early appointment of a top quality DoF would be the correct way to go with that person then being actively involved in the recruitment of the new manager.
In the meantime let's wish Steve Davis every success in the interim. Perhaps he will be able to get something from these players where Beale has failed.

Good post Blue. As one who was seduced with stories of Beale's coaching abilities I fully accept he had reached the end of the line and was never going to turn it around.
Your post makes perfect sense to me and sums up how we should move forward.
