John 227 is it ok to ask what your reservations are about Muscat, as I know very little about his managerial abilities. I recall you were against Beale being appointed, you seemed to suggest he would walk away from us before the year was out. Again would you be as kind as to give details of your concerns.

Muscat is being tipped for EPL jobs and wouldn’t come here anyway. His stock is on the rise, and he will get a big opportunity soon. He needs to pick the right club and we aren’t it.

Not sure why some posters take such a delight in trying to prove informative posters like John 227 and Star in the sky who express their honest opinions well.
I can only conclude it is based on envy, not having the same knowledge and contacts. Just enjoy their posts.

I was a Beale fan and wanted him to stay and take over when Gerrard left for Aston Villa. I was also pleased when he took over from Gio.
But I have to admit it was not very honourable how Wilson and some board members invited to Ibrox that day. From a Rangers fans podcast that Beale took part in when at Villa he described how he felt like worst dad in the world when he moved his family from Scotland to the Midlands. So his family would still be in England at time of Aberdeen game.

I have been a Rangers fan since the middle 1960's and Ally McCoist is undoubtedly close to being our worst manager in that time. Arrogant and corrupted by adulation. He was lazy and greeedy and was a disgrace to the club he professed to love. He will never be employed by our great club in any meaningful football capacity. He should stick to media and marketing work which he is very good at.

Gadji, very pleased to hear you say your comments are not firm statements. Not sure why you would make them if you didn't mean them. They sounded straight out of Primary six. But pleased that you seem to infer that you will still follow on.
For the record I personally think Lundstrum has ran his race with us and we need midfielders who can move the ball a lot quicker.

OMG John there are some real nasty elements in the support of both Prague clubs. UEFA are intent in turning a blind eye to it. It is a disgrace. John I hope all your family members and all the Rangers support over there have a safe and successful trip. WATP.

It's official, I have flipped my lid. Up until tonight I was 100% against McInnes being our manager.
Now I have gone and turned 360 degrees I would accept him now. He knows SPL, and what is expected at Rangers.

Good post Blue. As one who was seduced with stories of Beale's coaching abilities I fully accept he had reached the end of the line and was never going to turn it around.
