How dare a Scottish player be proud to play for Scotland whilst playing for a Scottish club.

We 100% have the most jump the gun fan base in the world. Every little thing is massive issue. Find myself distancing from our fans these days can't be bothered with it all.

I wish we would stop talking about weir. it was a completely different game. Papac/ Hutton/ broadfoot wasn't sitting high and wide, ontop of that we played A DM infront of him alongside 2 solid at defending CMs.
Helander is the only good comparison I've seen mentioned and yes it's true he managed despite being slow and having Davis in front of him also not blessed with pace. But we was very drilled side in that 55 season and most importantly we kept the ball!

No one is really bringing up his age as a negative we all know experience is a big part of it, it's once again down to him as a player.
He's not got the physical attributes to play DM and he's not got the pace to play CB in a back 4.
He is slow there's no point trying to sugar coat it. He is slower than Propper.
His experience is all within the centre of a back 3 that does not translate well into a back 4 especially at us where our wingbacks will be expected to play high.
He is not good in the air at all and lacks pace to recover if the ball is hit into the channels. Which is a lot.
He might be calm on the ball and a great passer but so is Ben Davies and it didn't work for him.
