Pc was well and truly shafted by the old board, took over from beale and got a tune from the players, winning a cup final and if i remember an unbeaten run, i was dissapointed it didn't work out for him but it was clear he had completely lost the dressing room and wasn't backed by the board, same with koppen, the man was expected to make gold out of lead. If martin implements the same style with 3 or 4 good signings to match it and his players are willing to fight for him it will stand us in good stead moving forward.

Spot on muscat, defence would also be my priority. Would not only shore things up, it would also massively help the rest of the team.

Playin for your country is an honour only a small handful out of millions who dreamt of it get to experience and completely up to the player, its his career. And to say it won't have any effect on his chances of playing at a major finals is ridiculous, how else will he get a place in the team if he doent play?

Could pick any of the young players, but any of the players could have a better contribution, i would imagine a more positive atmosphere around the club as a whole will rub off on anyone at the club, staff and players alike, there's been a proverbial dark cloud hanging over the place for a few years now, barring the odd glimmer. I think in particular barron, jefte and igamane should push on, its easy to forget how young they are, along with getting to play their part in a decent europa league run. If we get it right at the back i think we will see a huge difference in the team.

Never seen the interview ibrox but i find him one seriously creepy guy, i decided to buy a few of his books a year or 2 back on recommendation from a mate, he has to be the most overrated author to pick up a pen. I would bet my house his hard drive would be grim as f#*#.

Still a whole transfer window to go, plus we have qualifiers coming up to see what competion we will be competing in, which will obv be a factor in who we sign. Either way it wasn't going to be done this early. I agree that things will be better, like you say it couldn't get much worse.
