Just had a look at him he's not 36 until next year and he got 132 caps for Denmark, we do need experience and it doesn't come better than that, but not sure if he could be game fit within a couple of weeks or maybe he could be within a month and can't see him looking for a big wage, as others said I'd prefer younger though.

If soutter is indeed out for the season it is a worry Relying on Balogun and Proper who I don't think are capable of a game every 3 days.
However finding a young CB in January that is ready to come. in and Be first choice is very unlikely. Most likely will be a short term deal/ loan.

Nsiala isn't a million miles away from being integrated with the first team - he's starting to adapt is showing some really positive signs.
Kjaer is a sensible link and one I'd be on the fence with.
Mackenzie from Aberdeen is also strongly linked - he's a LB that can also play LCB.
And there is still chat that a deal has already been done for a LCB to join in January.
Safe to say, defence is a priority for the club.

Simon Kjaer is a leader of true definition.
Something we lack as a club at the moment so it could be a good move.
Also currently doing his coaching badges so could have a future in our academy to start his coaching journey as well.

Simon kjaer even at 35years old now, is a strong, experienced good no nonsense centre half and if he's fit and healthy, i would be happy to bring a proper centre half of his ability and experience into our club for the short term and his wealth of experience, would bring a lot to our club? He's a very commanding centre half who let's be honest could play in scottish football with ease, for a good couple of seasons ?Where did this rumour/ story come from crcp2?.

EHL, I agree with that I thought Jefte struggled when Kuhn started to drift inside of him and Yilmaz was way too aggressive in his press which was the main reason for the 3rd goal you could see Clements frustration. Yilmaz does seem to be a player that at every window is on the cusp of leaving but yet still stays.

Simon Kjaer is a cracking defender with a lot of experience most people forget David Weir joined us at 36 years old much better than what we currently have besides souttar I am all for a free experienced players coming in especially how short we are at the back.

Stuarty, I think he needs a fresh start elsewhere, nowhere near the player we hoped he would be and that run of games he had in the CL when we got battered every game completely shot his confidence and I don't think he has ever really recovered.

Should he be moved on? Probably.

This is not a kneejerk reaction to the result/ performance today but surely we have spent too much money in getting rid of our previous 2 managers, I just can't get my head around giving Clement an extended contract, if this doesn't work out, we'll need to spend more money on getting rid of another manager.
Playing Davies ahead of Balogun is madness. I haven't been convinced by Clement at all since he's came in, he talks some nonsense at times and like others have said, the style of play is lost on me.

I think we should wait and see, not good, not bad let's see after 4/ 5 games. Some complain about our defense I've alwys said its the sharp end where we fail, to get 3 points we need to score, again we kept a clean sheet today but failed to score, can't blame Tav for that. Scoring goals is the most important and most difficult part of the game, I've said countless times our defense is not the problem, Celtic won many leagues with bang average defenders hworever they have razor sharp attackers that play to the 97 min to get 3 points and 3 points is all that matters. Toaday showed we dotn have enough ammunition when it counts. Disjointed, no leadership, no game plan, reactive, no creativivity, lost most duels.

I don’t understand the reaction it’s playing right into the hands of those that want to keep us in turmoil. Neil McCan sounded like so many other ex rangers that get the microphone seemingly unable to give us any credit for good things that happen but very quick to pick up on the negatives . As a support we need to realise changing a bad squad of players is not going to happen in one window .
The manager had to play many of the players that let us down in previous seasons, it’s going to be a tough month and I hope the fans can accept this.

The fans need to take a look at themselves aswell, turning against Gio was ridiculous. He was left with Sands and King for CBs. He didn't get the backing Beale got and if he did then who knows where we'd be. My biggest gripe though is how 99% of fans had this idea that Beale would be a success. Under Gerrard, we also struggled badly against the 'low block' and Gerrard's trophy haul speaks volumes yet most fans think he was also a success. What was Beale ever going to do that Gerrard didn't? Given that he was apparently the brains of the operation.
Yes. the board must take full responsibility but Clement can't get away with this 'project' nonsense when Gio didn't get the time in the job that Clement has been afforded.
Another point btw, Liam Kelly is not good enough to play for Rangers. He looks well below the level required. No better than Robbie McCrorie imo.
