Very poor from Lundstrum today.
Can't argue with the result and we'll need to improve the quality of the squad or we'll be second again next season.
What's important now is to finish the season on a high beating then in the cup final, get our business done early in the transfer market and qualify for the Champions League.
Tick all them boxes and it's game on for next season.

Calling it. he deliberately got sent off.

2.) 11 May 2024 19:17:58
stupid tackle in a nothing area of the pitch however no way he delibarately got sent off.

3.) 11 May 2024 19:43:21
Even if we hadn’t dropped
Points to Dundee and Ross County, I wouldn’t have seen us going to the “midden” and winning. Lack of desire, skill or “bottle”! Thought that when PC arrived in the scene he was the type of manager who wouldn’t stand for nonsense, seems he is softer than I thought.

4.) 11 May 2024 19:43:53
Deliberatly getting sent aff .,? . gie yer head a wabble . guy showed bit of Fight In the te tackle.

5.) 11 May 2024 20:47:56
You can call it all you like Paul but am calling it your talking BS.

6.) 11 May 2024 21:36:45
How on earth is flying into a tackle in an absolute nothing area of the pitch showing a bit of fight? I could fly in to stupid tackles like that all day it's very easy. By him showing a bit of fight as you say let his whole team/ fans/ boss down in biggest game of season. He lost control mentally.

7.) 11 May 2024 21:58:09
As a professional player he knew exactly what he was doing! You make a challenge like that in the first 10 minutes in an area of the park where it’s justified, btw you also keep your leading foot low to the ground. it was a shocking decision by Lunny and if he thought by making it he had redeemed his OG then he is even more deluded. Bye Lunny.

I'm not giving up on this league as disappointing as today's result was.
There's way too much football to be played yet to start conceding titles.
It's still in our own hands which it wasn't at 3pm on helicopter Sunday.
Whatever happens in this title though we need to find a way in the close season to make necessary changes to the starting 11 starting with a quality Centre back and quality number 9 in my opinion priority.

CO2, couldn't agree more, we need alert strikers not slo mo ditherers,
and as far as I'm concerned a completely new back four. Big Phil has done well to get this far after October and he will see as much as we do where changes are needed, would love to have heard him in the dressing room after the game.

2.) 14 Apr 2024 15:25:19
We have just handed them the exact boost they needed to steam roll their last 5 games. I understand your optimism especially as, if we do win the league, you get an "I told you so" moment.

That's the teams in the split confirmed so the pressure off if Dens not playable on Wednesday.
If the pitch for any reason is not fit for purpose hopefully everyone just takes a deep breath and rearrange it without time pressure.

CO2

1.) 13 Apr 2024 19:22:48
I'll be fuming if that game doesn't go ahead for a 3rd time co2. It's not about the split mate couldn't care less about that, it's about the unnecessary pressure being put on us to play catch up, our loyal fans paying hard earned money for travel hotels etc. Seen one poster saying he's took time off work, travelled all way up there twice for it not to be on, said he wouldn't do it again, loyal fans being ? on, people like that I feel for. It's not just about rearranging and it's all OK, there's lots of different things to factor in.

2.) 13 Apr 2024 20:34:40
I wouldn't be surprised if they were docked points and don't make the top half.

3.) 13 Apr 2024 21:14:41
Bet we play Dundee away three times this season.

4.) 13 Apr 2024 21:19:02
Completely understand any decisions should be made early to save fans travelling,
I don't though want to risk the 3 points or player injury playing on the pitch If it’s not safe or playable.

5.) 13 Apr 2024 21:32:34
They can't be docked points under current league rules. These need changing at the end of this season and Dundee should be told if their pitch is not up to standard that they will be relegated.

Did anyone else see that crazy handball in the Arsenal match tonight.
The ref blew the whistle and the Arsenal defender picked it up not realising the ball was in play.
The referee decided not to give a penalty and VAR appears not to get involved.
I don't know what to make of that except ref decided to ignore the rules to suit the situation.
Possibly he tried to even it up with the Arsenal penalty not given at the end of the match.
Absolute shambles and it's a champions league quarter final.

good to see a ref refuse to be fooled by the old “ stick your leg under his leg trick, saka cheated and was caught

he th3n showed his trye colours by chasing the ref around n, mainly that's done out of embarrassment, the ref was totally correct, when you pop your foot into a players legs it doesn't mean you were fouled, refs need to look out for that more and more,

We never recovered first half from the freak early goal.
Second half was a lot better though and we never let our heads go down especially when they score after we equalised which would have been easy to do.
So my opinion for the rest of the season and especially at Celtic park.
Matondo left and Sima right.
Today was an opportunity to get arms length away from them but as big Marvin once said let's keep believing.
As the boss says 1 game at a time.
Let's get to the next old firm with minimum 2 point lead and It might suit us to be more counter attacking in that match using the pace of Sima and Matondo.

1.) 07 Apr 2024 22:34:49
Nothing freaky about the goal, just another defensive gift from us to them.
That piece of criminal defending almost cost us the league, even although we somehow managed to scrape a draw I still feel deeply concerned about how we reacted to such an early set back. In all honesty they could easily have taken 4 off us in that first half. Please don’t offer Lundstram improved contract and seriously consider letting Tav join the Saudis if an offer materialises, Goldson needs to be moved on also. Scott Wright no I won’t go there.

2.) 07 Apr 2024 22:49:32
Nothing freaky about the goal? How many 25 yarders have you seen like that!

3.) 08 Apr 2024 05:02:47
None blue Floyd because the defender would 9/ 10 pass it back to keeper.

4.) 08 Apr 2024 07:56:50
Freaky because Tavs belted it off Maedas shin - watch the replays!

5.) 08 Apr 2024 10:37:59
All came about because Tav got caught flat footed with the long ball, it gave Maeda the five yards he needed to put the challenge in and anything could happen from there which it did.

I’d play a back 5 with Yilmaz out,
Tav-Sterling-Souter (assuming fit) -Davies-Borna.
Let’s Tav and Borna get forward with cover and Sterling will take good care of their flying winger on the right, Lundstrum holding so can drop back allowing us to get the best out of Tav and Borna in an attacking sense and keep them high up the park as possible.
They will s##t it if we do that.

His Dad’s saying the rite thing considering he’ll likely be returning to us after his loan spell, unless of course another team wants to pay the going rate for him.
I’m can’t remember what we paid for him but I’m sure we’ll not want to make a calculated loss on essentially an international player that has a good football brain and has plenty of qualities.
If the correct offer comes in, yes move him on, otherwise he should stay and be a part of PC’s plans or back on loan to another team.
Also not sure how long his contract has left and can’t be bothered looking it up but that needs factoring in.

Can I add without trying to be offensive.
On occasions last season, I wish big Dessers had ruled himself out.

Agree with regards Lundstrum Jack and McLaughlin, however can’t agree with regards Roofe who in my opinion was a waste of a wage with regards his availability.

As others have stated Dynamo Kiev was some atmosphere, also some memorable Celtic matches, Aberdeen when we mon the title last match which was basically a cup final for the title with them.
For me though RB Leipzig because of all that had went on before with dropping to the bottom tier and in such a short period of time what an achievement which was very special.

Bb3,
I was critical of Dessers at first,
After the transfer window and resigned to play him also one or two good signs from him I felt compelled to give him until the end of the season,
With 5 matches remaining I’m still not convinced that he’s what we need as our number 9 for next season,
I hope he proves me wrong but for now the good moments are few and far between,
I can’t fault him for effort or attitude but I’m just not convinced he’s a Rangers number 9.

Do I believe we can beat them, you bet I do.
Unfortunately I don’t have a Crystal Ball and don’t know for sure, yes though it might be in our favour that the draw suits them.
Let’s only worry about Kilmarnock for the time being though.
