Sorry to start a new thread on this it's just down the pages a bit. Swso I honestly can't believe you used the word dominate when describing wilders career mate, come on. Who did he dominate against? His best ever result was a highly dubious draw v fury. Never beat usyk, dubois, Joshua, fury, zhang the 5 best fighter's of his time, his best win was against ortiz every time he came up against anyone with a pedigree he got a whooping mate.
How can you even suggest he dominated anything? He's an ok fighter at best no matter what pundits say mate.

I think he relied on his power punch. Once that was taken away, he never offered much. When he knocked Fury out, I thought he finally got him. What Fury did when he got up was exceptional. The 3rd fight with Fury showed he wasn't in the same class, but he has got that punch power.
01 Apr 2026 16:42:56
Defo had power, Davie, but to suggest he dominated anything is bizarre, mate.
01 Apr 2026 17:02:03
He was considered no.1 in world at one time. Don't like the guy, and his rant on TalkSport showed him up for what he is.
01 Apr 2026 19:00:33
He dominated cab drivers. Ortiz was an old man also, and it's his best win.
He kidnapped the WBC for years, and they didn't give him any hard fights either. They are partly to blame.
01 Apr 2026 19:01:09
Cooper, when? His resume is absolutely terrible when you look at it.
01 Apr 2026 19:48:43
He was world champion for years and had knocked everyone out apart from one person until he met Fury. Don't like the guy, but he was considered the best by many before he met Fury, possible because he was American right enough, but he has fallen off a cliff in the last five years.
01 Apr 2026 20:50:08
He was an awful boxer, solid boy with one decent swing of a punch but couldn't beat anybody worth noting.
01 Apr 2026 21:34:05
Del will end him inside 3 rounds, Wilder can't even throw a punch now, it's a circus and a last pay day he's done.

Pachebel, Bowie & Bauhaus all at once. Heavenly cacophany.

Is there a mix of all 3 at once bud, love a bit of Pachebel. 👍
01 Apr 2026 11:14:41
I had to check on YouTube who Pachebel are and I recognised the first tune straight away, Canon in D major. I knew about Bowie, but had to YouTube Bauhaus and they didn't get my juices flowing, and each to their own, but at least you have a history of listening to bands that assault your ear drums. 👂🥁
01 Apr 2026 13:28:16
Cheers search out "Full of Life" its pachabel with vocals, also an amazon advert, its excellent. 👍
01 Apr 2026 14:16:09
Sorry, 3Cheers, didn't hear what you said there, mate.
You're right, Fork, Pachebel with vocals brilliant.

What did the alien say to the petrol pump? ⛽ 👾
Take your finger out of your ear when I'm talking to you.

Anyone else think that watching Scotland is like watching Kilmarnock under S. Clarke - boring. Every fortunate that he has a good group of players, but unfortunately he doesn't have a clue about utilising them.

Been saying that for a long time, Scrambled mate.
01 Apr 2026 07:58:17
Did enough to get us to a World Cup though which is more than anyone else has done since 1998 so he must be doing something right. We never seem to play in friendlies but I will settle for getting to a WC instead. 🤷
{Ed001's Note - to be fair it is more difficult to fail to qualify now so many teams make it. Clarke is a dreadful coach, he was abysmal at Liverpool and it is astonishing he gets jobs. He is all that is wrong with footie right now and one of the main contributors to it being so boring. And he has all the charisma of a wet fart.}
01 Apr 2026 09:18:11
As coach said, it's easier to get to World Cups and Euros because of the amount of teams there now. Granted we did qualify outright for this World Cup. But we didn't the previous Euros. You can see what's going to happen at the World Cup already: play for draws, just like the Euros.
Maybe some fans are happy to just get there, but I am not. I want to do better than we have the last couple of Euros and go out with a bang instead of a whimper.
01 Apr 2026 11:06:56
We have brilliant players in McGinn, McTominay, Robertson, lbh. The rest are mediocre, and we've not had even a decent striker for a number of years. His football isn't the best, but not sure what people expect from us, or if anyone else could do much better. He was in charge for one of my greatest nights in football, outside Rangers, against the Danes. People saying it's easy to qualify with the amount of teams, but we won that group. It had nothing to do with how easy it was.
Poland, Greece, Denmark, Italy never qualified, so it can't be that easy. I follow Scotland everywhere, not because I think we are going to do special things, it's just a passion. Going into tournaments with 3 brilliant players, playing against teams with 10 brilliant players, is always difficult. It's like Rangers playing in C.L., and if we open up against these teams, we'll get more embarrassed than we have been.
01 Apr 2026 11:17:35
Agreed Ed, , couldn't have put it better myself 👏
01 Apr 2026 12:31:25
Haven't really a style of play, lack of ability in the attacking positions and at back, lack of wingers as well. I think Scotland would be better playing the same formation as Rangers, getting as many of our decent midfielders on the park, with McTommeny playing beside the striker, with left and right backs giving us width.
We rode our luck in qualifying, but hats off in getting there. Beat off Hati and Morocco, then we do Brazil. It's the Scotland way. 🤷🏼♂️
01 Apr 2026 12:25:02
ED, that is one of the best post you have put up laely
100% correct.
01 Apr 2026 13:34:50
Coopersdad, exactly mate. Souttar is probably our best cb, and he's not very good. No wingers, no decent striker, but people expect free flowing football. Until our game in Scotland has a major shake up, it'll be more of the same. Clark isn't great, but we have much bigger problems than him.
01 Apr 2026 13:38:06
Ed it might be easier to qualify but Wales, Republic, Northern Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Poland Denmark and a good few others didn't manage to get there even with safety nets of qualifiers at end. so is it that easy?
And he has managed despite being awful to get an average Scotland squad with just a few standouts to qualify. so yes criticise but let's also view the achievement of getting there with all his failings as a coach.
{Ed001's Note - clearly it is as you managed it!}
01 Apr 2026 19:53:40
We didn't play well in qualifiers and rode our luck to be fair. Credit, he got us there, but if he was given the Rangers job I would be crying myself to sleep. Would love him to get Celtic job.

Matondo.
31 Mar 2026 20:10:05
3 years too late. Leeched us for far too long.
31 Mar 2026 20:25:19
Agreed, BigDado. Hopefully they don't make him do anything too drastic at his medical. 🫡
01 Apr 2026 09:19:46
Dado, he signed a contract we gave him. He had done nothing wrong that way. Would you leave your job to go elsewhere for a hell if a lot less money?
01 Apr 2026 11:26:26
No, I wouldn't, mate, but a footballer should have some ambition to make the most of their career, not just sit tight for 4 years doing hee haw. He's no going to be skint elsewhere. We wouldn't be in a job if we were as unproductive as him as well.
As some have said, he may well be good around the training ground and good morale, but so would you and I if you were raking it in for doing nothing.
01 Apr 2026 12:51:27
BD, maybe I am lucky, but my work pays me if I am off sick for a period of time which the law requires them to. If I was also injured whilst doing my job, it would be even longer. So, he isn't to blame for being ill and can't play and do what he was signed for if he was injured playing for us.
So, yes, anyone working for a company would be paid for being unproductive in these circumstances; he isn't being treated any differently.
Waiting to see next one of us who says to their work, when they are off sick, that they don't want to be paid.
01 Apr 2026 13:48:30
I get sick pay as well, Angus, but what if you were that terrible at your job, would they just let you hang around the building cracking jokes or listening to music?
Poor Matondo being off sick. The guy is a joker.
It was a huge error giving him the contract and yes that's not his fault our club were so stupid but it's sickening he's run it down almost entirely and did nothing for 4 years, so hard to feel sorry for him.
I just plain don't like any player in that scenario. Rightly or wrongly.
01 Apr 2026 15:11:08
Angus, great post. He didn't choose to be unlucky with injury. Many players have struggled.
Lots on this site absolutely adore Kevin Thomson.
He contributed almost identical numbers.
Yet went on to have a good time after Rangers.
I recall Andrew Webster being worse. What was it, 2 appearances in 4 years?
01 Apr 2026 17:45:02
Aphe, wrong, Thomson initially signed in January and played until the end of season. He then played 44 and 39 games in 2 separate seasons. The middle season of the 3, yes, he was injured most of it. That's making a contribution and he was actually a very good player.
As I said on another thread - you will see for yourself about Matondo. We've seen it all too often. If he's cheap enough for your club, then fair play giving it a chance. It won't be as costly as it has for us.
01 Apr 2026 17:57:30
Dado, I would be the first to say that it was not a good time for Rangers or Rabbi.
It just didn't work out. He should not be belittled and called a thief for getting injured doing his job for the club.
The anger should be directed at the club for any problems you or others may have with his fee and salary.
Rangers approached him, not the other way.
01 Apr 2026 18:29:07
Absolutely mate, the recruitment and contracts handed out in that period were crazy and they don't escape criticism.
It seems we are in much better hands now, thankfully.
01 Apr 2026 19:04:14
He can't be criticised for why he done on pitch but not for his wages, mate, two different things. You ain't going to say naw, drop the wage by 20% then I'll take it.
31 Mar 2026 18:40:13
Well a fantastic last 24 hours for my club.
Great business done all round and taking the opportunities that presented themselves.
Kristian Eriksen - Great proven experience in the Eliteserien, can play in the midfield and as a striker.
Rabbi Matondo - experienced player who has had well documented injury problems previously.
Hopefully we can provide a platform and the correct guidance for him to rediscover his early promise.
Cheikh Mbacke Diop - very promising talented young central defender.
A real coup from NK Lokomotiva.
Hopefully these guys can help the group and get us back on track to consolidate the gains in previous 2 campaigns.

All the best Aphe, and hope they all turn out well, but Matondo is a lost cause. You will see soon enough. We waited 4 years for him to show promise. A horrible signing for us.
31 Mar 2026 21:59:42
Hope he kicks on for yous, Aphelion. There is a player in there. He has shown it in flashes.
31 Mar 2026 15:42:00
Heard around 20 minutes of last night's radio Clyde phone in and heard roger hannah saying in his opinion Mikey Moore will win the Scottish young player of the year award and i tend to agree 👍 I also think Mikey Moore will win the Rangers in house young player of the year award and quite possibly our in house Rangers player of the year award 🤔🇬🇧 Thoughts on this fellow bears 🤔

I just feel it isn't right when we vote for a loan player for a player's award. Not saying he hasn't done okay, but these awards should be for our player, imo. Fernandez is 22, so wins it for me by a good bit.
01 Apr 2026 10:47:39
Just because he is a loan player doesn't make him any less our player for that season, he is here.
