That's superb news ?I also liked the look of cortes and he's a winger that excites me ie. very fast, very direct and taking on opposition defenders, can go both outside and inside and not afraid to shoot/ has an eye for goal ?I would honestly sign cortes before sima and i really rate/ like sima ???.

Hopefully with a price agreed. Think if we can secure Sima this summer and keep Cortes get both of them fit any in form that's a scary prospect for any opposition full back. Both look to be great additions. Think it's also great business from our club. Cortes looked great but because of the injury we didn't see him enough to pay the 3 or 4m he would cost.

Iheanacho is a live link, he is however on the upward of 60k a week. We wouldn't be close to paying that, he however won't have an offer to match his current Leicester wage.
Callum Ohare has been approached, however Burnley are infront of us to pull off the bosman.
Roofe, Borna and jack won't be offered deals.
Lunny has been but Seems off to Turkey. (length of contract the issue from Rangers) .
Dowell, Davies, Lawrence will be moved on. Cantwell (seems to moving on too) has anyone else picked that up?

Surely we have learned our lesson with signing injury prone players. Not saying Cortes will become one but surely the smart thing to do is renegotiate to a year loan with the same fee next summer, to make sure he’s the same player when he’s fit.

Only way I see another loan is if we pay a decent loan fee with an option to buy so let’s say they want £5 million we pay £1.5-2 million for the years loan and if we want to keep him we need to hand over the other £3 million.

We have signed diomande basically do people not know difference between option and obligation to buy this is done just to shift finances from one season to another and I think you will see this happen more at our club.

Not easy to predict who will be in our starting 11 next season, but the focus is on our remaining fixtures.
Sima - excellent loan signing but can we afford to sign him permanently.
Cortes- looked good until he was injured ( maybe another loan deal) .
Danilo - unfortunately he has been injured for the majority of this season.
Lundstram- media reporting Ipswich are interested.
Raskin - rarely featured under PC.
Balogun- excellent v Hearts ( extend his contract? ) .
Hopefully we sign a LCB and another LB plus CF in the next transfer window.

Obligation does mean we need to buy but if we couldn't there would be a penalty amount we would need to pay. Also same goes the other way if they decide they don't want to sell. They would need to pay us a prior agreed penalty amount.
