Story breaking down south that the ch from Bulgarian football is now interested in moving to the English championship with Norwich city, my mate who lives there said it's a strong rumour that Norwich have enquired about him?

Didn’t really care if we got cordoba or not, I’ll probably be the same about every player linked this summer, it’s when there here and playing for us I’ll care- got stung to heavy with last years signings, I know a lot of people did. I remember how positive a lot of people were about last year’s signings, not everyone but lots were, and personally I won’t make the same mistakes again. I still remember the fuss made about Danilo signing and for what 12 or so games and 6 goals. Never again. Although tbf to Danilo maybe he can have the impact we wanted last season next season. I’d be much happier if there wasn’t an injury crisis every year and an almost full squad to pick from. If we don’t get it right this summer then dark days ahead. Although I know I’m not saying anything everyone already knows. I wonder how much our transfer budget is? And if somehow we qualify for the CL do we get more to spend.

Like it or not wishy, nearly all players aspire to the EPL and the Championship is more of a route to that than the SPL as it's a far more competitive league than ours. Gone are the days when players should walk over hot coals or crawl over broken glass to sign for us. We need to realise how attractive we are now as a club to players - who are not fans.

Yes it is a better league that wouldn’t be hard we aren’t talking about the league though we are talking about clubs and rangers is a bigger pull than Norwich to suggest otherwise it’s absolute bonkers to me. The only time Norwich is a bigger attraction to rangers is when they are a premier league team and right now they are not.

Absolute no brainer that playing for Rangers or Celtic is by far and away way above playing for any club in the Championship. You will never win anything in the Championship apart from a 2nd tier trophy. Yes the overall quality may be better in comparison league v league but that's a nonsensical argument you only play for one club not them all so you have to look at the quality of that club your at before anything else.

Only fans of that club in Scotland would see it differently. Rangers or even them for that matter aren’t a big pull anymore in world football. Some may not want to hear that but it’s true and players would rather got to better leagues. It’s really not hard to understand tho for some on here it seems to be.

As a few posters have said - it’s not the club these players don’t want to play for, it’s the league they don’t want to play in.
When our premier league teams are signing players from EL2 and non league plus Ireland and mostly on frees, it doesn’t send out good signals. Now and then they’ll hit a gem but mostly not.
I don’t know the answer to better the league maybe other posters do? But it’s a difficult one? Better TV deals would help.

It's not simply avoiding criticism though is it. It's hundreds of fans leaving personal abuse on social media platforms. Morelos only had 2 seasons better than Dessers yet Dessers was booed numerous times this season. How long did it take the big lazy Colombian to score against them? It's getting worse by the season. The negative toxic atmosphere created is dooming the club.

We've been down this road for years now, if in my opinion, a player has any ambition, top of the list should be getting exposure at a high level, they will get that with Rangers, as our European pedigree is higher than most of these Clubs that they end up signing for. In response to the poster who commented on the criticism by our fans, I would agree, and would ask all of us to shown more patience in this respect, trust our Manager and Board otherwise we'll totally divide our Club, and play into the other mobs fans obsessions.

Although I agree there needs to be a clear out, unfortunately with the amount of numbers coming the other way it worries me a tad, as they will need time to hell and acclimatise to there new club, last thing we need is a slow start next season, but ultimately this has to be the way forward as we have gone stale, in pc we trust ??.

I posted on here two weeks ago and said my friend in Norwich who has good contacts was certain this guy was going to Norwich not us, perssonally, it shows a lack of understanding from him as to the size of rangers to Norwich, even my friend said as much, hopefully my contact is wrong, and he is in Glasgow, as it's a tad embarrassing if he chooses them over Glasgow rangers.
