If any of the rumours are true regarding McLean, does he really beef up our midfield? I'm not convinced on this one if it turns out to be true
we need a leader in the centre of the park and one who can dictate our play and tempo and someone who will progress in our midfield not regress
Lenny miller - or David Watson would be who I'd want spend the money and get one of them in
We already have Barron who I think will come on leaps and bounds whilst playing for us
Doesn't see what McLean would bring for his fee and wages etc and no real sell on value
people keep saying we need older experienced we already have that in goals and in defence and up top a young dynamic midfield would be my choice we have let Celtic play through us far too often over the years and we have had plenty experience in midfield and for us mostly nowhere
Couple the young guys in midfield with our new wingers and a new no9 and a shored up defence whilst hopefully keeping Butland
Think we would do well

Thestigno1 we have not shored up defence brought in a young jeffete still have still got the same serial. losers who let us down last two seasons hopefully they go and we bring in better Chs and RB. Hopefully PC not going to go with them again. Enjoy yr beers.

I’m in the same boat as you Stig, this signing does not bring us closer to Celtic, I’m honestly gutted by this signing. All I now need is Shankland to sign and I’ll proper lose my sh**t.
I’ve said this before and I’ll stand by it, if we don’t beat Celtic it’s the end of August or go into that game already behind PC will be chased out the club, signing McLean is not helping him at all in my opinion.

Going forward it will be the players need time to gel, we’re on a rebuild and it will take several windows to sort out beales mess. I’m afraid the supporters are just going to have to get used to it. Unless all these new players hit the ground running that is.
