Liam's team ratings vs qots
Bell 6 - lost footing for the goal, made some decent stops but didn't look full of confidence. Decent outing.
Foster 7 - got an assist and made some decent challenges could improve defensively. Decent game.
McGregor 8 - won most headers and a few good tackles. Mr reliable.
Zaliukas 8 - commanded this game more than previous games, seen a lot of the ball, won headers and made good tackles. For me best defender vs qots
Wallace 7 - didn't see much of Wallace but kept the ball well and looked comfortable in new role.
Smith 7 - apart from the goal didn't offer much, didn't get forward as much as Wallace does as wing back but played a good passing game.
Law 6 - offered nothing going forward passed the ball back most of the game, made a few challenges but not comfortable at the moment.
Shiels 7 - looks very committed, worked hard and helped run the midfield. Good performance capped with a goal.
Murdoch 8 - cracking player and stuck to Carmichael the whole game. High work rate and solid performance. My man of the match.
Vuckic 6 - rangers most creative player doesn't have the pace to beat players made some good runs with some good touches. Didn't really do anything even though he seen a lot of the ball. Needs to learn how to beat defenders to become a special player.
Miller 6 - usual high work rate, had the ball in the net but ruled offside. Looked most likely to score for rangers. Decent performance.
What would you guys say?

Think you have been a bit generous with some of the marks. Thought it was a dreadful game to watch and need for wholesale changes in the summer. Great goal from Smith however not his greatest fan but what a strike

It wasn't a great spectacle by any means but the high marks was defensively. We could easily have taken a clean sheet to ibrox which is nothing short of a miracle considering we conceded 5 goals with none scored at the last 2 games at palmerston.

Agree with stepwise.you must be stevie smiths love child.lol.apart from the goal he was ganking.it was a terrible game to watch but it's the result that matters most.we need at least 8 players to be anywhere competitive if we do manage the miracle.

Thought Miller's distribution was awful,Foster,Zakiukas did OK,Smiff was getting major verbals until he scored. rest did OK. but Cammy Bell poor. we are where we are but every team of ours over last 20 years has had a class goalkeeper. and he's not even Kilmarnock class.

McCulloch a disgrace not traveling with the rest of the team. Should've been there cheering them on like the rest of us

Would prefer Killie as they are in free fall however I wouldn't discount Ross County as a potential opponent. Really poor result for them and put them back in the mix.

Just back home now great day out yesterday, brilliant atmosphere in the ground and around the town before and after the game,a few positives to take out of it,foster whom I don't rate has hit a wee bit of former at the right time, murdoch covered every blade, and Vucik and Miller linked well,on the downside Bell does not instil any confidence whatsoever one fine save but all over the place at the goal, and do law if it wasn't for the big baldy head you wouldn't know he was out there,,but great scoreline nonetheless 5 more the same please.

What a game yesterday, Mcall must have been reading this forum because he went with most of my preferences! Foster, whom I have stoutly defended on here popped up with another great assist. Stevie smith whom u have defended popped up with a goal of the season. Vuckic in attack which was my preferred position for him.
Really looking forward to the return leg at ibrox!

Also remember Foster's miss against them too. Can't believe people on here giving him such praise. The guy is rank rotten and the sooner he is shown the door the better. He has done nothing all season then when his contract is up he starts playing a bit better. His terrible games far out way his good games and if we do manage to get up do you really think he is the answer in the top league?

Lm3- Don't know if McCall was reading the forum.or not but 10 out of the 11 that I posted were in the starting 11 the only change was Walsh for Smith which was a great tactic by McCall.
Main thing is we won but it's only have time as we have another 90 mins to play next Sunday

Reading various stories on Lee McCulloch missing in action yesterday . 1 he asked to be withdrawn find that one hard to believe, 2 he had a fight with another player possible 3 he's injured don't think so . Whatever happened I believe forced the manager to drop him I've slaughtered him along with others on here this season but what sort of highlights this yesterday is our Captain does not even travel with the team to Dunfries in our our of need and togetherness something bads happened thoughts guys! I was glad he wasn't playing though

dont want to dwell too much on the result but I think it was significant that McCulloch wasn't in the line up.
Of recent times he has definitely been a burden and maybe McCall has decided to go on without him now?
