The Scottish FA is considering launching an investigation of links between Rangers and former owner Craig Whyte. Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan said that it was yet to be decided if an inquiry would be set in motion to determine if Whyte had any connections to the club (Source STV)

@1 yeah but this one won't be an internal load of crap where they may actually question all parties

Agree0 Disagree0

N2 they will be able to visit craig whyte in barlinnie to get his side of the story even at that the guys a born liar

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 A sherriff issues an arrest warrant for Craig Whyte and you think he will turn up for the SFA who have already banned him.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ 2 hardly interna, a professional forensic investiating company was appointed by Rangers to carry out this exercise.
We would also welcome any SFA investigation to clarify any areas the investigators missed, mind you don't know if the SFA have that level of skill set within the organisation so they will probably appoint a similar type organisation to carry this out on their behalf.
Makes you wonder what is the point I can't imagine Pnset and Mason left many stones unturned.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just carrying out Peter Lawell's agenda. A QC over saw the Internal Pinset Mason investigation I have to ask are the SFA questioning their competance?. Based on what Whyte & his cronies worthington group still have sent no evidence to back up their allegations.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 I think you will find
this was an independent
investigation carried out
by a top law firm & a top

#3 Much as I would like to see Whyte behind bars if you seriously think him not turning up for a trial will send him to the Bar'L then you don't really have a very good grasp of our legal system.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah. that came back with clarity on the current Rangers set up but not a word on the rangers set up when applying for the SFA licence. which is the issue not whether whyte is involved now

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it's as conclusive as their investigation into The SPL finances!

Agree0 Disagree0

The investigation found that Whyte had no connection with Sevco Scotland. What they conveniently failed to mention was whether there was any relationship between Whyte and Green via Sevco 5088. Hard to deny since Whyte and Green have both admitted there was.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is Regan going to pay for this nonsense out his own pocket, because yet again we have the ordinary punters cash being wasted.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 if you think that Whyte will speak to the sfa then u r clearly deluded. How do you also know the internal investigation was a load of crap? I doubt you were part of it or have seen the findings. Just another example of someone's mouth working before the brain does

Agree0 Disagree0

N8 I have done more porridge than the three bears every one an ltp I was meaning if he did turn up it would be an ideal time to serve him his indictment for damage done at rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

@14: what indictment? Surely if there was one, there would have been a warrant for his arrest already. His indictment for what crimes exactly?

Agree0 Disagree0

N15 his indictmen will be coming shortly for fraud there is plenty of time to serve him with indictment only he can sign for it if you disagree we will find out eventually if I am wrong on this I will come on here and let everyone know I was in the wrong tmwnn

Who would everyone like to see at Ibrox next season?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Anyone who plays for the jersey

Agree0 Disagree0

We don't need anyone else, queen of the south romped this league with lot less quality, we need a better manager that knows what he's doing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I just wish someone would take Faure Argyriou Cribari Goian & Boca Then try sign 2 CBs an il be happy but I could live with Jig Gasparrotto & Daly to fill In if needed obviously need more cover but I DO NOT want to see a flurry of old/foreigners pouring in like last year if your taking a gamble Ally take it on bloody youth not people like Andre Bikey!

Agree0 Disagree0

How about decent football?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think faure has a lot to learn still, only 20/21 so he could turn out to be a good wee player

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 you must be a Celtic fan, the guy is rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 I have a lot of faith in FM13

he's amazing in that and it hasn't let me down yet lol

Agree0 Disagree0

The accounts.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 as a once famous tennis player said "you cannot be serious" Faure is shocking and god knows how he passed the trial to earn a contract. Even if he improved 100% he would still be awful. Sad excuse for a player

Ed have you heard any news on Sir Fergie pumping money into his boyhood hero's. Or even the chance of him and walter runing the club as a whole. they where great at UTD.

Thanks. {Ed001's Note - nope. I can't see that happening at all.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If Smith had EBT and Has paid it all back that would make a start.

untill then folks will say he has one or more, and he won't sue??

murky?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fergie will stay very close to Manchester Utd making mega money not ploughing it into the Blackhole we call a club when are my fellow bears going to realise the only money going into the club is that of us the fans!

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Dear god, really?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't you the fans get together and take control of the club, why is all of you looking for a hero to turn up

Agree0 Disagree0

@4. Your so right but its difficult if the supporter bases or trust won't. How can one guy start it off.

Why would be want anything to do with rangers? He's made his feelings clear what he thinks of them over the years. Stop looking for another white (or should that be whyte?) knight to roll in and save the day. The days of depending on a sugar daddy are over

Reports say Gers are only looking to bring in one more player,

Now surly this can't be true as we need 2 Mids and at least 4 Def's.

And comments on this or is this a Fact?

Thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Zaliukas. then who?
mitchell will do for me at right back
jig can fill in most places
little anywhere along the front
would be happy just with zaliukas

Agree0 Disagree0

Not got a clue, but I hope you are not serious when asking for facts on this forum. If someone goes to the trouble of writing 'fact' at the end of a comment, it normally means BS. And in case you were wondering that is FACT!!

xx

Agree0 Disagree0

2 mids? Are you kidding, we are going for the 2nd division not the champions league.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need 2 more mids and 4 defenders to do what exactly?

Let's be blunt, with our squad we will romp a league consisting of teams of PT journeymen so why not now be more financially prudent?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do we need 2 more midfielders?

Black
Law
Macleod
aird
mckay
peralta
crawford
hutton
sheilds
templeton

also have mcculloch and little who will play a part in midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 Mitchell not the answer at right back as he gives nothing going forward. We need someone like Wallace on the right in order to give us another attacking option.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe one more until we shift the dead beats, which is easier said than done. Iam unsure of zaliukas signing, purely down to his national stance. Hopefully it is him tho, or someone like bikey. We need that command at the back.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jun 2013 00:02:43
What?! You think you still need another SIX players for d2? Unreal. That's embarrassing

Agree0 Disagree0

N8 embaresing for who do I detect a bit of rage their cause rangers are the only ones bringing in new players

Agree0 Disagree0

@9: no rage in that post, just incredulity.

ED - What's the position with Rangers signing more players.
Is the maximum number of players in the squad over 21 years of age been reached?
If so we ned to release players before we make anymore signings. {Ed001's Note - the rules were changed weren't they? No limit on over 21s now.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Jun 2013 11:33:29
Nah, the rule changes are being voted on today and obviously Ally's been given the nod

Agree0 Disagree0

If its one governing body then the rules for spl must be the same for rest of the league and no way Celtic are going ask for a limit on overs.

Agree0 Disagree0

You can sign as many players as you want but you are limited to the number you register

I see there s a warrant out for whytes arrest good about time he's been pussy footing about the system to much as for taking the cleaners tae court for theft he's got a cheek when he robbr rangers blind the wee crook.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

What did he rob ranger of? dignity only. He personally gaurenteed £17-20 million to Ticketus to allow then to loan him £18m to buy ranger.

without this - ranger would have folded 1st week of season, and admins would have done what DAFC did - sack/sell all major players.

He now on hock for £18+ million. and will probably go bankrupt - saving ranger the £18million cost. ?

How much is green on hook for. nothing, but took million out?

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 he used other people's money to buy RFC while claiming it was his. He was going to use other people's money to repay it while steering the club to closure and then making money out of that.
He lied to Ticketus to get the money in the first place. He's a vulture capitalist, nothing ventured nothing conned.

Agree0 Disagree0

1) he fraudulently obtained ticketus money, so he deserves to go bankrupt for adding it to rangers debt.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1.
It is illegal to purchase a business using the said company's money. Which is what Whyte did. So if what you're saying is correct, I'm confused. Are you implying Mr Whyte did RFC a good turn?
Celtic fans refer to as him agent Whyte.
Both of you cannot be right. unless!
P. O. B.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1. Why did he just not get involved? He took plenty out too don't forget. Many a quid unaccounted for on his watch. He robbed rangers of more than just dignity. He caused a collapse if he never had the money or business sense to see it thru then why get involved. He is a chancer who deserves to be cleaned. out. sooner the better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye maybe Whyte was right and he did save Rangers, he goes bankrupt Rangers are in the clear, Ok maybe reputation is tarnished but its a small price to pay. green on the other hand is screwing everyone even the fans he will suck the life out of the club and laugh all the way to the bank when it all folds and he'll blame everyone else saying they were all against us, and the sheep will go bah, bah that's true farmer Green because WATP.

Agree0 Disagree0

"It is illegal to purchase a business using the said company's money. "

But whyte did not do this as ranger had no money - but were in debt for £18million.

Whyte got loan from someone else, to pay this £18m.

SDM got loan of £6m to buy Rangers in first place.

Both loans. but whyte PERSONALLY GAURENTEED the ticketus on - not based on Ibrox or 10-players.

WHYTE personally provided finance to ALLOW Rangers to play for most of the season.

Clearly he put Rangers into ADMIN when debtors put stop to the rising debts. then tried to create phoenix - but he ALLOWED Rangers to play 40+ games. when he could have gone into admin on day 1.

WHYTE also paid £137,000 and £100,000 (to D&P) to try to ensure RFC could continue without any debts. but failed as Green SCREWED him by selling to SEVCO - but not Whytes Secvo Green's one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte was looking for £1m/year income for rest of his life. on the tapes.

if you have £10m you can buy annuity to pay £500k/year for life.

So he gambled £10-£20 on rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen to the charlottefakers tapes by whyte of d&p and green, whyte only one thinking about rangers, football and building team and brand.

hes not the fly-by-night conman he made out to be, he knows costs of all players, smith (£1.7mill/year no way), and staff of top of his head. he a real business man where duff and phelps, greir and green and imran all conmen

Agree0 Disagree0

N7 whyte lfinanced 40 games with money he fecked the taxman for if whyte had his own money he could have sat tight after getting off with everything we ve been accused of white could have sold a debt free rangers for a tidy profit cause we are now moving upward

Agree0 Disagree0

N7 you say whyte put us into add when crediters said no more credit allowed rangers were not in debt craig whyte paid the debters ie the bank

Agree0 Disagree0

I have said on this site many times whyte may have been at the helm when
we went into admin etc, but for me david murray left him with no option, hence the reason he wanted out,
and has had no criticism to the extent the others have had. Me, personally have no time or will ever forgive him for the state he left the club in. jimbo

Agree0 Disagree0

N12 you say sdm left him no option of course he did cw new what he was doing
