Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

I agree it is great that football banter is returning. As someone has already said, the Scottish Cup will be interesting. If we beat Falkirk in the next round, no SPFL team will want to draw Rangers in Round 5, home or away! We could shake up this competition. I bet Mr Lemon is hoping that his team avoids us!
McCoist has his critics, including me in the past, but 12 league wins out of 12, well what more is he expected to achieve? Let's just get through this season and next in the Championship and see where we are. The off-field problems will, I feel, be resolved once the AGM is out of the way.

Mr Lemmon will be hoping his team avoids us! Please tell me you are not serious, please? Do you really believe that Celtic, or any other top SPL side, are running scared of us? Yeah, we are unbeaten in the league, the 3rd tier remember. We are scoring goals for fun, again, against 3rd tier teams. And yes, we have a much stronger squad than the one last year. But to think that Celtic, top of the SPL, unbeaten in the league, in the Champions League, are even one bit scared to play us, then you my friend need a reality check. Now, before anyone on here accuses me of being a traitor, Celtic fan, blah, blah, blah, take a bit of time to think about this before you spout more rubbish!

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 have to agree I doubt any of the top tier sides will be worried about facing us. People need to take a reality check on how good Rangers are currently. Beating part time teams week in week out doesn't mean you will rollover any team. Think you'll also find Celtic fans are desperate to play us in the cup. Funny that when they try and claim we are a new team

Agree0 Disagree0

I would say that we should be taking one game at a time, and to date our only competitive loss has been against Forfar and that was before we could field our new signings.
Our toughest test yet was against Dunfermline who being a full-time club had higher fitness levels, and recently we have struggled to score in the first 45 minutes as was the case in the last two games at home to Airdrie.
We don't how good the current Rangers team are so we will soon know if we draw one of the top tier teams in the cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

Running scared lol. we're hoping and praying to get your new team in the next round IF use make it through.

N3 it would be good to play anybody for the top league cause maybe they wouldn't play with 11 men behind the ball but who knows eh

Lets beat Falkirk first, 2 things might hinder us doing this 1) plastic pitch & 2) Ally's cup record. We can only play 1 game at a time so let's just get through what will be a very tricky tie before we even think about the next round.

yet another statement on rangers website if they have the time to release these statements surley they have time to answer our questions but they ignore us still this is a big mistake as the fans hold there future income in our hands

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Strange how they release a statement
just as news program say that. police
economic crime squad are talking to

Bears please sit up and smell the coffee. We are Glasgow Rangers. Directors and players come and go but its born into us to be a Ranger. We then hold the upper hand here. The present mob that run our great team are just custodians. They are blagging and thieving from our club, that is beyond any shadow of a doubt. Let them know that at the AGM our hard earned money will not be available to them. We gave into them last season, let's not give them more money to do it again. Stand up and man up bears.

Agree0 Disagree0

What crime would the police actually be investigating?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ehmmm let me guess . fraud perhaps?. george

@3 that's a silly question m8. What exactly do you think they would be investigating? Theft from the biscuit tin perhaps, or maybe mohsnis hairdo?

It's great the banters coming back on here, There has been too many laptop lawyers, analysts, we know the law blah blah blah. We have went from Mcoist the tactical genius & should have a statue outside ibrox next to John Greig, best bit of comedy genius from biaya so far! Then have Mcoist must do walking away calling Ally a parasite& so on (saying that he has loads of 1p shares & hundreds of thousands annualy to beat part time clubs, who if you added them all together there wage bill would be that of 1or2 ibrox salaries)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You're right. It has picked up of late. The squad salary in total is still probably less than half of Wayne Rooney's.

There are still plenty of posts saying we should be beating all of these part time opponents week in, week out and giving no credit at all to McCoist and the backroom staff. Watch out for the FA Cup and see how many Premier League teams slip up on dodgy away pitches with the locals raising their game and playing out of their skins. We face it all the time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey stephanie1888 firstly its biarya and secondly what dya mean comedy gold? The manager is on half pay and won every game this season

Agree0 Disagree0

Steph1888, I think you will find that the poster who said Ally should walk away and called him a parasite is, shall we say, a non Rangers fan (was it you?) if that's how you get your kicks then who am I to complain. 12 games 12 wins 47 goals scored 6 against not bad in my eyes, SUPER ALLY SUPER ALLY.

Agree0 Disagree0

@Jyf. You automatically suspect it's me or some other (Non RFC Supporter)who has criticised Ally. Are RFC supporters not allowed to voice there opinion& if it's a negative comment you assume it's from the other side!Yes the gers are on a good running streak, but as kfraser says"local teams play out there skins. as it's there cup final game&will give 110%. @biarya (sorry for spelling your name wrong)come on now man. Ally a statue next to John Greig??& for the half a wage cut. that will now be down to £350,000!Also Mr Mcoist done the River Rapid Challenge during the sumer for charity. the charity raised £12000, yet the cost of this jolly excursion was over £35000 (also Mr Mcoist flew his son in at an expensive cost from some part of the USA)I'm not saying Mr Mcoist is some sort of leech, only stating with the purse strings so tight at the mo, any decent RANGERS MAN would do the job for nothing for the rest of the season, as the salary would still be extortionat, so let's hear some BANTER LADS!

Agree0 Disagree0

OP everyone is entitled to their opinion and what a boring world it would be if we all shared the same one but the poster that called Ally a parasite never left a nom de plume and I seriously doubt he was a Gers fan, what do you think?

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 always an opinion on all things Rangers, how about your club and the shareholders, asking for the SFA to be investigated over their handling of Rangers situation.
Whats your thoughts on that? Me I think its sour grapes that despite all your fans best efforts Scotlands most successful club is still alive and kicking. And your £35000 figure is more Green and Grey accounting, massaged to fit the story for good effect! Show me the proof!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is it if you criticise Ally you aren't a Rangers fan and must be one of them? Think you'll find that the Celtic fans are actually happy that McCoist is in charge of Rangers and maybe the ones on here supporting him aren't true Rangers fans but are one of that lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

@6-suggest you go away and do some research. the charity foundation uses justgiving website for donations. A true blue Walter S raised 65K for his river challenge a couple of years ago. Ally doesn't even appear. so you give us the figures. what did Ally actually raise --

Agree0 Disagree0

@8 "ally doesn't appear" your words, yet steph1888 can give figures. Like I said massaged for good effect. Why let the truth get in the way of a good rumour eh!

Agree0 Disagree0

PS. I did Ally a disservice - he did raise just under 12k - so partly correct- don't ever think anybody will ever find out the expenses though. it does cost about 1600 dollars per person for the actual 5 day river trip + flights + hotels +sherbets. I think fair to say the charity made a loss on this one
