I agree with bongo on Clark! I think with the right management and a bit of belief he could really become a good player for us! Did he not score over 40 goals for QoS the season before he joined us? so he must have something in his locker even if it was in the lower leagues! I personally would like to see young McKay getting another chance to show what he can do! He's the type of player that gets supporters on their feet! Really liked the look of him when he first came through! Another player I would like to see get a regular start this season is Callum Gallagher! I don't understand why he wasn't in the team last year! Scored goals as soon as he came into the first team and then vanished! It's almost like these boys get a sniff then some other boys break through and take their place! Shouldn't we be putting a team of youths together rather than just replacing them with new ones the season after? Don't think that's how it works lol

Just because Stubbs came out and said Allan is not for sale does NOT mean that he won't be sold. Managers/directors say their players aren't for sale all the time, to drive the price of the player up. With 1 year left on his deal, he'll be available.

I heard that rangers were told they need money up front which is proving to be a stumbling block.

Would imagine that's true rabmac, I didn't think we would pay any transfer fees tbh, the club has no money and we will be living off king and park for awhile I guess.

Brodie I got pesters on here ages ago talking about a retail boycot. Seeing this top is even more reason for a retail boycott.

Agree2 Disagree1

24 Jun 2015 20:06:57
Boycott or not to boycott. No matter what MA will get the profits,as all unsold have to be bought by club at full price!Just 1 of the onerous contracts that RFC have.DK now knows the full extent after his conclave with MA ( that was widely denied) Even the board of RFC knew nothing of DK & MA getting together . When will DK show TRANSPARENCY that he talked of when he got control at the top of the marble staircase. His silence is deafening

If this is correct why do we need a 3rd kit that used to be a champions league thing, Sports Direct and Mike Ashley can go Kiss my Arse I'll no be buying anything from you and haven't for over a year so please GTF you plump person you!

24 Jun 2015 20:42:10
youd think way aw the carry on way the boycot on the strips they would want one that was hard to resist but no this must be the clubs fingers up to ashley caus nay c. in their right mind would buy this .another hing is you can say all you want about the lion brand but I know where my money is going and what it will be used for.
MORE SAY FOR THE FANS

24 Jun 2015 22:41:21
yeh remember its the club doing the ordering for the shirts the only reason we would be seriously left out of pocket is if they order to many like green did there is no chance of rangers doing such a thing now Ashley has got the contract but we the fans have the power to render his contract useless it doesn't matter where you trying two buy the rangers top from he gets a very large cut so just don't buy it and go for the lions brands or wear the older shirts there is sites where you can purchase shirts from years ago together we as fans could be the deciding factor in this battle with Ashley

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 06:42:50
Boycotting sports direct does not impact on Ashley but it does screw the club. If sports direct don't sell all the shirts rangers need to pay for them anyway.

So what your saying is we should all go and spend our hard earned cash ( that the people that are working ) and give it to the Fat Boy, can't and have never spoken for others but Not for Me Mate! I'm not throwing my money away, I got a great wee holiday out of the money I saved last season when m&m were in charge!

We boycotted Ibrox and got a change . The retail side of Rangers income in almost non existent . We would get more money from the cut of the Rangers alternative Black and Red top . Get your orders in . Also look up al the shops Cashley has and you will be shocked.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 09:01:16
like I said last night rabmac the club does the ordering of tops so the club will put a limit on what we are ordering so the loses will be very low to many fans looking for excuses to buy rangers tops Ashley regards king of making a hostile takeover at rangers well he has done the exact same and made a hostile takeover off rangers retail side and commercial advertising just buy the lions shirts and the club will receive more money of that than they do off sports direct that is a no brainier

25 Jun 2015 14:12:30
Looks like the new top is a Goalies top.
My understanding of the sports direct deal is that SD have 75% shares of rangers retail which will revert back to 49% when we pay back the 5m loan. That's one of the reasons DK ain't in a hurry to pay it back as SD take 75% of the LOSSES.
Keep up the boycott renegotiate a fair deal. My sons quite happy wearin the old top from 3 years ago.

Ashley has temp ownership of the rfc brand logo etc. does anyone know if that includes the. Lion aye ready badge - on the ibrox facade?
If not, rfc should mass produce the old team top from 60's with the white v-neck
put the badge on (a 50th anniverary replica) and sell thousands with all profit going to the club.

Guys a think clark aird mckay crawford all need to go y did we loan a player to another team in championship to me means he ain't good enough for first team clark just ain't good enough in my opinion gives 100% no doubt but not rangers spl class and that's what we r building a spl class team templeton could be next out the door if he don't get the finger out just my opinion

A bit harsh on young Clark I've always believed with the right manager and training system ( which I hasten to add we've never had for years would help the lad, at least give the lad till Xmas. The manager has said he needs possibly 10 players in, with a squad of 24 if he starts offloading players he'll need to bring in more, lastly remember they've not even seen them training yet

Agree4 Disagree3

24 Jun 2015 18:58:43
i thought McKay might have made it but I doesn't look likely as for the other 3 I would get rid of in a second. Also hope Templeton can find some form under Warburton he has been really poor for us but hopefully under a decent coach he can show us what we all know he can do

Totally agree too they should all go . Fact is Clark just isnae good enough. Templeton has the potential and a agree he needs to get the finger out!

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 10:23:19
Its a bit harsh to judge the youngsters based on McCoists time, a real manager like Warburton may get more out of them, Clark could also benefit from a real manager and some tactics, Templeton is a strange one. But from everything Warburton is saying there won't be any dead wood at the club so if he can't get them to perform I assume he will move them on.

Latest goss from my secret source (JS), appears as though Dougie (Douglas) Imrie is next man through the gates of Ibrox Park. Should see this and the rest of my rumours coming to fruition in next few weeks. Bodia Out

He can go to Ibrox Park if he likes,Bodie. He can play on the swings and the monkey bars too if he can find any.As long as he stays away from Ibrox Stadium that's fine.

So we've now bought 2 CB's, I hope we go for Alfie Mawson aswell, although I'm not sure he's needed now. Really good young player, and free. If we do go for him I think we should sell Zaliskus, 30 years old and didn't exactly play well. We have Gasparotto back from loan now aswell which leave's us with adequate cover at the back with McGregor aswell. Although we're short at RB, so maybe go for Naismith of St Mirren?

Happy we're getting Eustace very experienced, and a good leader. Hoping now we get Allan (which looks likely) and possibly Sibbald from Falkirk, although I'm not sure he's needed with players like Law, Murdoch, Shiels, Eustace and possibly Allan.

As for our attacking options, Miller will provide experience, however I'm not convinced by Clark. He works hard but doesn't offer much of an attacking threat, it's all good running around and working hard, but as a striker his job is to score goals. Maybe a move for May, Adam Rooney or promoting Gallagher/Hardie? We have Aird, Templeton and Mackay, however I think that needs to be strengthened, rumours of Dallas joining however priced around £1.2m upwards might be too much for one player. I think we should give Mackay and Templeton a fresh slate and prove themselves worthy.

Personally I want to keep Clark, you can't go from top goalscorer to c**p young lad, pacey, I reckon Warburton will get the best out of him

I stay in glenrothes which is obviously next to kirkcaldy where mackay spent last season on loan at raith. I've got a good few friends who all support raith and attend games regularly if not every week and every single one of them has said that mackay isn't good enough for them never mind rangers. This seems to be backed up by the fact he didn't play every week for raith.

Sorry guys, but Clark is not the answer. Plenty of effort and endeavour, but just not good enough for us

Agree7 Disagree4

24 Jun 2015 16:01:36
He might be better suited upfront on his own? However if we get promoted we'd have to buy a new ST anyway, as he's not good enough. Hope I'm wrong.

Agree1 Disagree2

24 Jun 2015 18:16:58
He's trying too hard to impress, running all over the place. He was a good poacher at QOS,hence the reason we signed him in the first place. Its the classic example of going to a bigger club and upping his workrate accordingly, but to the detriment of his true game.
Now hopefully with a decent coach working with him he can play to his strengths again.

Clark was scoring for fun in the 3rd tier of Sottish football, McCoist's team looked good in the 3rd tier of Scottish football

Clark is a 3rd tier of Scottish football level player hence why he was rank rotten in the 2nd tier NOT what we want unless of course Warburton is that good at revitalising and improving players, so tbh I will be happy with whatever Warburton's assessment of him is after pre season and training.

Mckay may not have had the best spell at Faith rovers doesn't mean he's a bad player, there's a certain English premier league striker who had afew poor loans but is now classed as a 50 million pound player . Sometimes loans don't work out especially for young players he needs a chance.

Just seen what's happened to Parma I remember them coming to ibrox as a European heavyweight during the advocat era and the gers putting them to the sword ruthlessly football is a very strange game sometimes chasing the dream kills the team! A lesson leaned the hard way by a lot of clubs in recent years .
