Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

25 Jul 2013 22:27:54
funny tonight there is no talk of Rangers on the Celtic banter site or about our supporters. For too long our club were easy targets and we the fans have had to stand by and listen.
Last night all the talking was done by the fans and their exemplary behaviour inside Hillsborough, not one negative comment.
Well done one and all who attended, a credit to our great club. PB

Majority of the Sheffield Wednesday fans love us now, hope we invite them upto Ibrox next season. More likely to invite United up though if Big Davies still the manager which is a shame. There Forums are full of Fans that have even said they'd like to come up & see a league game now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody remember when Wednesday came up to Ibrox about 10 years ago - sorry can't remember the year might have been even longer ago.

Anyway their fans were great too, one of the best supports to ever to travel up for a friendly.

Hopefully both clubs can meet more regularly.

Agree0 Disagree0

LOL. Yeah I was at the game.

I'm sure it was 2-2?

Think we struggled to cope with a couple of Italians that night.

Bluegenius

Agree0 Disagree0

Scottish 3rd division team v english second division team.

Agree0 Disagree0

3rd division & english 2nd division? sounds about worng. try division 1 & championship team

think wee nacho is the best guy we could get in would say body bring him back but he's not the player he was seen nacho play in the rangers man u game and was just as he never left get the wee man back in a gers top

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Can't you see why he wants to comeback, nearing the end of his career family live in Glasgow he's just looking for a pay day since no one else wants him.

Agree0 Disagree0

And what age were the players he was playing against? What a stupid post.

A message to all my fellow rangers supporters, we will all see the real ian black this season, I've got no doubt about it, black at his best is by far the best holding midfielder at rangers by a distance, last year after his double hernia op he didn't do a pre season and just never got going, he'll get going this season alright!BIG RAM!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think so too, but only time will tell

at least now he has Peralta challenging for his position too

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, he never seemed to get going last season till the closing couple of months. full preseason behind him and being used to playing in front of 50k fans all the time will make a massive difference.

DJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably because he was basicly guaranteed a startin place. bit a competition should dae the boy good

gersdaft

Agree0 Disagree0

He was the only player last season who did not turn his ack on the man with ball after a pass. He also tried to make himself available where others hid.

what a disgrace hibs are to Scottish football. keep those teams out of Europe ffs. deecee

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hope you are including rangers in your scathing attack

Agree0 Disagree0

Shocking result mate really was but I rember our last euro games aswell though beat by some nonsense mob they where that bad can't even remember there name

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers were very seldom an embarrassment on the park sunshine. not to the tune of 9-0. so get yir facts in order timmy. Scottish footie is embarrassed every year wi teams who just don't have player and management skills to compete in Europe. hibs are the latest. hey I don't mind a 2-0 or whatever result but 9-0 is friggin disgracefull at that level. deecee

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 Why would you include Rangers in that. Just a stupid bigoted remark full of despicable hatred. Rsngers have a fairley decent history as have Celtic in Europe for a wee country. Apart from a small time in histrory all other teams in Scotland have been less than mediocre.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why not say well done to st johnstone then? Typical doom and gloom.

Agree0 Disagree0

Happy days for you boys, I think. Was not the previous worse Scottish club european tie aggregate score 12-4. Rangers V E. Frankfurt?

Agree0 Disagree0

Same ef who went to the final that year. diff time pal. try again. oh and well done the saints. dee cee

@7 they 2 legs against frankfurt yeah the pumped us but do you remeber the final it was at hampden an frankfurt got pumped by 1 of if not the best team of all time

TB1978

Agree0 Disagree0

At 7. That was a very good Eintracht Frankfurt team, but they still lost the final to Real 7 - 3. Special players and teams back then.

Agree0 Disagree0

To 7. ] You obviously just look up the record books and don't have a clue about football. Rangers were by far the best in Scotland and one of the best in Europe. Unfortunately, we were no match for the Germans, over 2 legs, in the European Cup Semi-final that year. Eintracht, were in turn, no match for the great Real Madrid in the Final. I was at the game that night and you should watch an old recording and you might learn something.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im pretty sure bayern beat barca 9-0 on aggregate in the semi final of champions league, that spanish football is a joke these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

Didnt Juventus pump the old Rangers (the one now in liquidation ) 8-1 over 2 Champions League games in 1995-96 season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Massive difference between malmo and juve. wow peoples hatred for us has to be seen to be believed. deecee

Agree0 Disagree0

1-8 or 4-12 is not as bad as 0-9. no disrespect intended towards old Rangers, just pointing out a new record defeat has now been set.

Agree0 Disagree0

What absolute brass neck the op has how can u sit and judge a team for getting beaten in Europe when let's be honest you got knocked out by them in your last European venture. Ok not the same score but its the result that matters.

Chalkybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@4: how's post 1 bigoted or full of despicable hatred?!

Agree0 Disagree0

@13: where's the hatred in this thread? You really are paranoid.

6 pre-season games Mohsni has played. and 1 goal conceded and he was on the bench at the time
when are we going to offer this guy a contract.?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is that not being dismissive of the other players? If your theory is correct let's just sell all our players and just play moshni v rest! Is he really that good? I have not seen any pre season nor do I follow Southend so am not in a position to say Tbh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who have we played though?

Agree0 Disagree0

He improves the defence along with the other players

How many times is Ally going come out in the last few weeks and say he is hopefull of signing Mohsni, i'm getting a wee bit sick of the time its taking he played almost 6 pre season games, impressed in them and the club say they want him. Mohsni himself must feel like were just messing him around. Could any1 actually blame him if he just turns round and goes forget this in going down to England. I love My Rangers but they should honestly just put up or shut up. (sorry rant over lol)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Has it occurred to you he might be using Rangers to get fit and be seen.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP I appreciate your frustration particularly with regards to getting a good centre half but I have two points I would like to make. Firstly I would like to go back to the days when we signed players behind closed doors and didn't parade them until we had their moniker on a contract. This would stop all the media nonsense that seems to go around these days creating false hope. Secondly have you maybe considered he is asking for more money than we can afford and Craig Mather is actually doing his job and balancing the books. Regardless how good he is we can't go down that overspending route again. We have to build for the future and it will be a fine balancing act to get the right players at the right price.

Arte Et Marte

Agree0 Disagree0

It was clearly finances J Aslong as we are looking after the well being of the club I'm all for waiting for signings or no more signings. Just goes to show there's not a chance we could afford Kenny Miller. A CB or 2 should've have been priority before anyone. Ally's made his signings & should have been given a budget like at any other club he's made his bed so hel lie in it.

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't hear of many other club chasing him for his signature, is he all that good?

Agree0 Disagree0

My guess would be it's more likely him and his agent are using Rangers to boost his profile and attract attention from other clubs.

Has anybody else shown real interest in him?

U guys have brought up a lot of good responses to my rant, just the thought of Cribari and Perry at the back gives me nightmares. Its just the thought of getting drawn against a Spl team in the cup with them 2 at the back ahhhhhhh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Larky. Yes a cb or 2 are required but if the right ones aren't available or are playing hardball what is a manager to do? Sign someone with supposed calibre who just happens to play in first gear all season and look like total dog poo? I think that has already happened on allys watch. He has signed players with SPL experience and who were needed. Give him a break.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2013 15:45:01
Brian McLean if pandaza dosnt sign

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hope not, would prefer jig at the back than him (plus cribari has actually looked good pre-season as well).

Agree0 Disagree0

Cribari has only looked good as moshni is alongside him

Agree0 Disagree0

Moshni was alongside him that's why

Would just like to say your fans were absolutely class at hillsborough today massive respect

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pmsl what bear posted this then?

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 atleast the Wednesday fans managed to hold themselves back from invading the pitch After a massive 1-0 victory. There was no @rseholes felt the need to run on & take a goal kick either. That's just a Carnival Atmosphere though aye? Well there was plenty of Clowns on show!

Larky Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I would also like to say how very proud I am of my fellow Rangers fans. You were amazing last night. We Are The People.

Just bought my newcastle ticket. Anyone know what sales for tge game will be like?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why you so bothered about sales? youv'e bought your ticket go and enjoy the game or is it another season of counting seats?

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha chill out I was merely asking if it was going to be a full house or not. People seriously need to chill out on this site

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said on the chilling factor. I've posted a few defences on McCoist in the past and got a hammering. Don't mind that but I do when unfair anger is vented against the young players on this site. Doesn't help build confidence and at Rangers that's what it's all about. If a youngster has a bad game, don't say anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 what tangent are you on?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tangent? Too many angry Rangers fans on this site. That tangent. Some of us get the fact that we've got our backs to the wall, have been punished beyond severely by the football authorities by the action of one man and yet we have the greatest fan base in the world and many of those back McCoist with his two hands, not one, tied behind his back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op. see you there mate, should be a decent turn out, can't wait!
