Abolutely agree OP, its astonishing how effective the PR machine has been at covering over some really serious issues. The optimism on here over the last week or so has a real empty ring to it. WHY CAN'T THE CLUB PRODUCE AUDITED ACCOUNTS? that's no joke.

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh. I think you'll find the club has produced audited accounts, that's where all this 'running at a loss' started. Money was used to buy the albion, Edmiston House, and the 5.8m for the original purchase. Why do people keep banging on about this? Maybe not Rangers people.

Yours. A Frustrated Shareholder

Agree0 Disagree0

@2/ As a shareholder you must start paying attention mate. The accounts produced in December were not audited. There is a huge difference in the two.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are accounts not done on a yearly basis if so then the new company hasn't even been going for a year so what's the big issue audited accounts are dew in June

There is no way on this earth that our club can sustain the ever increasing wage bill. I have tried being an optimist but the cynic in me thinks the new signings are just means of selling season tickets. Remember Green and Ahmad still own the profit making arms of the club - is it too far fetched that the season ticket money will disappear Into their pockets and the club being sunk into administration by christmas due to unmanageable costs? Somebody tell me I'm wrong to think this.
Wilson

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Your wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 how do you know he's wrong?

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with OP. this spending policy is unsustainable. all good and well signing players but if the wage bill was too high last season how is increasing it good business? What about reducing the playing squad and getting the wag bill down to a acceptable level? I have reservations over the motivation behind all this signing activity and lack of selling on of players we thought weren't good enough last season

Agree0 Disagree0

Am a wednesdayite who lived in glasgow when I was a young lad, always had a soft spot for your great club and hate it when, the people in high places drag its name through the mud, its apity you the fans can't run it your self.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op we won't need to pay bocaneggra nor goian nor sandassa that's a saving of roughly 30 grand a week so we could bring in 8 players on 4 grand a week roughly I think after recent times we wouldn't bring in new players if we couldn't afford to tmwnn

The signing of Nicky Clark is the best bit of news to come out of Ibrox in ages, he is exactly the sort of player we need and will hopefully enjoy a long fruitful career with Rangers.

Ally McCoist to sign Peralta and Hateley by Friday. Anyone else wonder why he's after Hateley? He's b*******

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hes better than what we've got at the back

Agree0 Disagree0

That's only your opinion, I think he has been a good player for Motherwell. I also think he could do a job for us and he can play in more than one position and take free kicks which would make him useful to any squad. The only problem I could see would be the constant comparisons to his old man which would be unfair on the lad and add an awful lot of pressure.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need someone to take a good corner, we wasted at least 7 a game, hateley is perfect.

Cash tight at this time of the month. Even a tenner makes a difference to petrol. This is the true state of affairs for the ordinary fan and this is why our club should have even more respect for the fans efforts.
Times are tough for us all yet we are still prepared to put money into our club, all we ask for is clarity and honesty in return.
That said, I'll be paying my tenner and joining the RST on payday at the end of the month.

All the best

Cheers Baybear.
Like I said earlier I think the time is right to try and move this along. The latest revelations by Charlotte F. are pretty heavy hitting material and may have major implications for our club. They could possibly be fakes but appear to have some originality about them.
Regarding the RST, I will be signing up, my only concern at the moment is that they appear from your contact with them to be going through some sort of re-organising, and timescale is important. Even if we can get the club to give us a statement regarding the latest developments would be good.
This really needs to be moved along now, because if the latest game of chicken gets serious we could see the clubs finances and assets being frozen, where would that leave us? Don't know how willing guys like Chris Graham and the like would want to get involved, or Jim McColl etc. The one thing for sure is that we need to get the ball rolling and the quicker the better.
Thanks again for your time and effort.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear, In my humble opinion, your intentions are good but to follow and subscribe to the RST is the wrong way to go. I feel that they will never have a say and our way forward is with a powerful, reliable investor. Personally, I cannot see beyond Dave King as I feel he has the b***s to move us forward.

P. O. B- No bother, just a wee thing but I suppose doing something is better than just talking. Reg your point about timescale, bear in mind these emails were sent back and forth about a week and a half ago. Got another email last night which I'll post later. Cheers
BillyB- In all honesty mate I feel the days of one powerful 'reliable' investor are long gone. There was a time when we all relied on a certain David Murray and look where that got us.
I respect your opinion mate but I'm prepared to loose a tenner to see what the RST are all about.

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear. Good on you and others that follow you. Best of luck but on this one we'll agree to differ. Cheers

MY REPLY

Thanks *****,
I will keep my reply short and simply tell you that your response is exactly what I have been promoting on Rangers forums.
I will therefore be happy to pay my £10 and will encourage my fellow supporters to do the same.
I firmly believe that there is an opportunity here for the RST to develop into a real representation of the Rangers support. All this takes is for season ticket holders and others to join up and take ownership. The time for moaning on forums with no affirmative action has long since passed.
Would you mind if I posted your email on Rangers forums to encourage supporters to join up? I have already posted my initial email to you. Obviously I am happy to leave your name out for the sake of privacy.

Thanks for your prompt reply

Kind regards

RST RESPONSE

Hello *******

I look forward to seeing your application coming in! If you confirm and process that valuable £10, (and as many others as you can get), I will get back to you with an answer to your question about posting my initial reply (with all of the typing errors) elsewhere, albeit, with no name.

Let me know if that's a basis for a deal!!

I would probably check it out with my colleagues as this site is basically, a service site for our members new and prospective and the main purpose of this excellent new tool is to maintain and continuously improve communication. I don't see a problem with that however as that is indeed what we are doing.

Thank you for listening to what I rambled on about but it is what keeps us going. You are correct in stating that the time for 'no affirmative action' has passed. It is not what we all say, but rather, what we all 'do' now that is important for our future and for the future of our club.

I just don't want me or any of my fellow members of the wider Rangers community to have to reply one day when asked by a grandson or granddaughter, about this period in the history of Rangers FC by saying,
I wish I had tried harder'.

It's in our hands!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Baybear, I feel you are suggesting that RST is the way to go, I disagree strongly. They have been pathetic since Whyte came on board and their ill advised comments have done our club no good at all. In fact I think some of their nonsense made it very easy for SPL clubs to vote against us.
Let's look at their performance. They met with Whyte when he first took over and described him as "impressive". When the tv aired their programme exposing Whyte as a liar and con man, they demanded a meeting and asked him one question - when will accounts be published. I could think of a million more pertinent points to raise.
Then when Whyte put us into admin, they seemed to see off bidder after bidder, the yank went home, the Ng got criticised and left.
During last summer before the SPL vote they called for boycotts and threats, not the way to win friends and influence people.
They insisted when Green took over that season ticket prices must not be increased. At a time when every penny was needed this was a stupid demand.
Since then they get their names in the paper they get five minutes on the telly, and that is it. They have done nothing but cause problems.
A single fans group is required with somebody with charisma and business acumen to lead it, a Dempsey, if you will.
I am afraid neither RST or RSA are good enough to call themselves the fans representatives. They have failed miserably and will continue to do so.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1- Entitled to your opinion mate but as indicated in my previous posts the problem lies in one of the words you use 'they'.
Granted the RST performance to date may not have been great but my point is (and always has been) this. Turn they 'they' into 'we' by joining up. Then you and I will have a part in what the RST do. Fed up of talking mate, time to start doing. Moaning is getting us nowhere.

P. O. B and ED

Ok, as promised below are my emails to the RST and their response. I have removed the responders name. Ed- apologies in advance for the length of the following posts.

MY EMAIL
I am a Rangers supporter, season ticket holder and follower of Rangers forums. My wife is a Proud Pompey supporter and member of Clan Pompey (The Scottish Pompey supporters club). Right now she is rightly proud of the efforts of all Pompey supporters as despite their years of difficulties; they have achieved their goal of fan ownership through the efforts of the PST and genuine fans.
As you may or may not be aware there seems to be large section of our Support who feel the RST do not represent the opinions of the majority of fans. This is not intended to be a slight on the RST, just a genuine question about how the RST feel about this?
Personally, I feel that the RST have an opportunity to play a major part in galvanizing the Rangers support and helping us move forward with the goal of supporter governance of our great club. My questions are these; are the RST ready and willing to use their already established model to take action? Are the RST willing to begin a process whereby they consult season ticket holders about their hopes for the future of our great club? And finally, what do the RST think about the proposal of some supporters to use season ticket money to buy shares as a way to achieve the fan ownership goal? This last question seems to be one that has been raised quite a lot recently and although I do not represent all season ticket holders I feel it is a proposal worth looking into. As you are already an established supporters association I feel you already have resources in place to begin a process of change; and in some ways it is your duty to use your established position gauge the fans feelings and present them to the club. So what do you think? are you READY to be the one the RANGERS SUPPORTERS TRUST?

RST RESPONSE
Hello ******

Thank you for contacting us. Apologies for the delay in getting back to you but we are currently in the middle of upgrading our web site and our overall communication and administration system. We see this a priority and we were involved in transferring a large number of our members over to the new system today so hence the delay.

Great to hear from Portsmouth, great news for them and we wish them all of the very best on the future for the PST and indeed the club. Must admit Clan Pompey is a new one on me.

I take on board all of your comments and will hopefully be able to reply to your satisfaction. I had a quick look on our system for your details briefly and without success but as I said, I have been involved all day so maybe seeing too many names now at this time of the day.

I was at a Supporters Direct conference a few months ago in The Falkirk Stadium where one of the speakers was David Lampitt whom I am sure you have no doubt heard of.

Can I take your first point and perhaps give you my own personal opinion on the comments you make. I don't want to fill three or four pages here and bore you to death.

I have heard the comments that a section of the support do not think that the RST do not represent the majority of the fans! I also hear that many of these comments come from numerous 'forums'. I again personally do not spend much time if any on any forums. This is not closing my eyes to what is going on around us, people have the right to their opinion and also have the right to state them. I would say however that most of this opinion emanates from opinions about The RST from a number of years ago.

I am one of a good number of new board members who were installed just last October. Things have changed and are continuing to change at a rapid rate. I will explain further.

I joined the RST after working obviously as a volunteer for a number of months on developing the BuyRangers Community Share initiative. I have a business, sales and marketing background and the experience I have was a great help to creating and indeed launching BuyRangers last November. It all culminated in us raising £250,000 to purchase club shares in 4 days which I think is not bad going. We purchased share in The Rangers and now hold about 0. 6% of the club. We follow the SD created model just as the Pompey folk do. We are an I&P Society and are no doubt very similar to all the other clubs doing the same. I am sure you are well versed in this so I won't dwell on it.

Why did I join, and why did I volunteer? We are all now aware of the grim situation which engulfed our dear club which I have supported since boyhood and my father before me. I don't have to tell you as a fellow Rangers Supporter, each day, another nightmare scenario seemed to unfold. This is I would say, when I decided that I am a Rangers supporter and I have to do something to help my club. As I have previously stated, like most other fans I scanned each news site and listened to each news report on TV and in the press. I checked the Rangers web site and checked most other Rangers minded sites and blogs and found much was being said but to be honest, not much was being done. Week after week passed and the band of detractors of our club grew and grew. I am sure you know just what I mean.

I volunteered for the BuyRangers Initiative and became heavily involved. As more weeks passed, still no guidance or help from anyone. All of the Forums you mentioned and blogs maintained their well meant communication but to be honest, nothing constructive to really help any Rangers fan. I found the old RST web site possibly the one site I kept going back to for solace but even there no real advice. That is when I decide to join and try to implement a change in policy and approach which would hopefully eventually attract the wider Rangers Community. As it happened, it was really left up to marooned Mr McCoist to give the nod and the fans who in my opinion had been looking for some guidance from somewhere responded and purchase 38,000 season tickets.

I feel my club, my fellow supporters deserve more and so I took the action I took. The signs are very, very hopeful.

We are as I said in the middle of giving our 'paid up' full members a web site and administration and communication system which will rank with the best in the United Kingdom. It takes time, we are as I said volunteers but we are for sure getting there.

On our site, full members will be able to put forward suggestions for discussion and be able to vote on all important issues concerning the club and the support in general. This is a fully interactive site and is the key to offering all of our fans, a real democratic organisation recognised by UEFA, Supporters Direct and regulated by the FSA. Most of my new colleagues on the board are of the same mould as myself and are fully committed to developing and expanding this system.

If people who comment and are unhappy with what they 'think' The RST is and does, then join, post a suggestion and raise and force a vote. No restrictions, nothing to hide, we are all named and not afraid to engage. I am not condemning criticism, I in fact welcome the chance to explain what we now are and that we are a younger board full of enthusiasm with only the interests of the world wide Rangers family at heart. I put my money and all of my effort behind what I think is the only way to influence events at our club. I could go on to a forum and talk until I am blue in the face but does that 'really' do anything?

Criticism if constructive, is welcomed and is a healthy thing. When you think of it, £10 per annum for something which is 'at last' a 'haven' or communal effective voice for our wonderful Rangers Support is surely a small price to pay. No use just sitting and moaning about how 'bad' everyone is to us. If everyone of us spent this small sum of money and presented a united front to all who try to cause damge to my club, then we would have something which would make people, anyone, sit up and take notice of the voice of the fans. I feel this unfortunately is something that we will be requiring in the not too distant future. Storm clouds are gathering again it would appear. The longer a large number of our fans just sit and talk about things, the more we will appear to be weak.

We realise the opportunity we have, yes we can galvanize the support. We need that support to 'get involved' and make it happen. We now have the resources in place. If you have not joined and I apologise for not looking you up but I am beginning to wilt after my essay, then log on and register. For £0. 83 per month, would that not be worth trying? Our new modern thinking board members would welcome all of your help. Asking season ticket holders and involving them would be wonderful, if we could have the database from the club, we would do just that. We are building our own database and this is growing on a daily basis. More has to be done, we know that. just join up and get involved. Anyone can put themselves forward for a board position. We are not hiding from anyone. Quite the opposite in fact.

Good to hear from you and hopefully I did not bore you too much. I am passionate about Rangers FC. Please get in touch if you wish, we are always here.

Regards

Hi Baybear.
Did you get permission to post the E-mails form RST?
Only reason I ask is to gauge their reponse to your initial idea.
I am becoming more and more concerned about our club's future on a daily basis. There appears to be a high powered game of "Chicken" taking place between CW and the current owners. This is either a massive bluff by CW or someone else (Charlotte Fakes?" who maybe oneand the same, or it's yet more political deviousness from our enemies to thrust our club back into the limelight, with regard to outing all information regarding the takeover.
Either way the club will either be expectedto pay an out of court settlement, or defend various court cases over a long period of time, both scenarios could see a significant chunk of our money going in legal fees.
The other worrying factor is there have been no statements from either the club or any of the supporters representatives. I too am becoming para! I think now is the time for the fans to demand the right to know what the f*ck is going on. Did the RST give any indication of their proposals or palns?

Just wondering if rangers will be able to use any of these players (Jon daly, nicky Clark, law) in any of the pre-season friendlies? Could they possibly feature as trialists or something?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

YES we can use them as trialists
sfl & sfa verify this in todays
paper (D. R)
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

NICKY CLARK signed a three-year deal for Rangers yesterday – and found out he will be able to play for his new club before the end of their transfer embargo on September 1.

The Queen of the South striker – and fellow new signings Jon Daly, Cammy Bell and Nicky Law – will be able to play as trialists for three games each in Division Two and the Ramsdens Cup – although only two of them can play in any one match.

But they will be unable to turn out in any League Cup ties played in August and any new foreign signings will have to wait until September 1 before making their debuts.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist is aiming to further strengthen his squad and will be boosted by the news his new arrivals will be able to play competitively before they are registered on September 1.

There is no restriction on the number of players who can play in pre-season friendly matches.

Scottish Football League spokesman Anton Fagan said: “Like everyone else, Rangers will be able to use unregistered players as trialists on three occasions.

“Our season starts with the first round of the Ramsdens Cup and two trialists are allowed in that tie. The clubs asked for that to be introduced last year because it’s so early in the season.

“They will also be able to field them in league fixtures, although the cup tie would count as one of those three appearances.

“If they were a substitute that would also count, even if they didn’t come on.

“However, no trialists are allowed in the League Cup, the first round of which takes place in August. ”

The SFA are aware of the situation and their registrations’ chief Sandy Bryson said: “The players can’t be registered with us until September but they can appear in as many challenge matches as they like.

“But as a result of the embargo we cannot request international clearance for players from elsewhere.

“The trialist rule only applies to footballers who have already been registered in this country. ”

Does anyone have any idea if that Muppet white and his lawyers have any grounds? Surely no court in the land would take that crook seriously. Hate reverting back to this tedious drivel, especially when we're having a good transfer spell. Cheers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Green has admitted he conned Whyte so this is going to drag on for a long time.

Agree0 Disagree0

His backers seem to think he's in the right.
One backer appears to have fronted the money.
He has partners, tapes, signed documents, bank transfers, witness statements,.
Green only appears to have denials.

Agree0 Disagree0

Any crook in the land will be listened to in any court in the land if he has been illegally treated. A crook robbing a crook is still a crime. TTTS

Agree0 Disagree0

Take a look at Whyte's track record. His company have put together some 300 paged document making out his claims. He's getting done for at least £17m by Ticketus, irrespective of his appeal which the judge at his hearing said he held little hope for any appeal.
He is involved in the legal company that has raised this action and quite simply needs money badly, at best for him he'll be paid off plus legal fees and this is what I think he is after, some dosh. Venture Capitalist - nothing ventured, nothing gained- irrespective of the truth.
It is green and Ahmed that are named in the document.
Specifically that Craig Whyte is due £137,000 and “an opportunity to redeem his reputation by achieving a turnaround success at Rangers Football Club. ”
And this not happening is deemed to have “…hindered his ability to conduct business activities in Scotland and/or elsewhere. ”
He even finds a way around the SFA bBut the Principals – as Craig Whyte and Aidan Earley are referred to – believed that if a new Rangers company was “quoted on a public market” then the SFA ban could be got around. an -
So he is banned but still claims he owns Sevco 5088 and goes on to blame not being involved with RFC whom he took to the administration for denying him the chance to redeem his career while conning Ticketus for £17m before this event, being banned previously as a company director and closing other companies to make money.
Craig Whyte doesn't need anyone to front him he's got enough to share out.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 if whyte has all that then why has legal proceedings not started because its. load of p*sh if there was any truth to this the court battle would already have started

Agree0 Disagree0

I said at the time Whyte wouldn't just walk away and was told I was talking mince. Why would someone like him just give up potentially millions of pounds for nothing in return?

As much as we all despise him and as much as he is a noted liar I don't see how we can say for sure he hasn't got a case. Will certainly treat myself to a malt if I'm wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 May 2013 15:09:09
Whyte's might be bluffing and hoping for a out of court settlement. If he gets that I guarantee I will never return to Ibrox until the men who paid him that money are gone and I won't be the only one.

Whyte makes me feel sick any time I see his googley eyes.

You know this snake will not disappear why, I have been reading in certain newspaper about the bunnet and how he stepped into save us its like chalk and cheese. I think Scottish football should get the bunnet in to sort out the game up here and give it a 5 year plan.

Agree0 Disagree0

#7 Maybe he is bluffing but if he was to receive an out of court settlement from Rangers then I'm sure the footballing authorities might have something to say about it as it would basically prove his links to Whyte, could even mean a revoked license.

Maybe it's actually best if this does go to court and it's finally settled one way or another.

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig shyte will get his say in court lol when he will explain why he shafted the taxman for a few million lol ide be surprised if cw sees a courtroom except when he maybe be extradicted from wherever to answer his fraud charges causing rangers fc so much hastle tmwnn

Anyone know when the season ticket renewals will be out. Would have thought the club would have been desperate to get the cash in the door.

We all know the prices so would have thought they would be hitting the doormats by now?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Still reads 'no season tickets are available' on the website.
Must still be reading the forums to gauge if we're up for renewing yet or not.

Would love to see us sign Witherspoon an Berra in the next few weeks even one of them would be fantastic. Also I would like to see novo come back what a moral boost that would be for the youngsters not that they will need much due to the signings we have made already. Here's to stage 2. Can't wait WATP onwards and upwards!. StevoRFC

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is Berra needed for 2nd division? Because he shouldn't be near our team when we make SPL ad he's garbage.

Agree0 Disagree0

The youngsters? They will be sick at these signings. How many will get game time now?

Agree0 Disagree0

Novo is a badge kisser stuff that if they bring him babk its a step back he had his time move on

FOUR signings out of FOUR, can't remember the last time gers had that kind of success rate in transfer market, usually lose out to a target or two when it becomes public knowledge, a mixture of young and experence, quite happy!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The only time the rfc missed out was because they were going for players out with there budget and wages were a stumbling block reason liquidation. now there going for players if honest isn't what use where used to so not good signing!

Used to be we went after targets that other clubs of similar size were interested in.

From a newspaper.

A meeting between BDO and creditors confirmed that Rangers (newco) purchased the right to the £2.1 million prize money issued by the SPL for finishing second in the league. This right was subsequently waived by Newco and Oldco in order for Rangers to be given a playing license for this season as one of the parts of the five way agreement set up by Oldco, Newco, SPL, SFA and SFL. The money remained with the SPL. Thoughts on this bears?

Nothing involving the spl & sfa surprise me, they had the chance of a generation to better scottish football. and their answer ; same as b4 but with play off's. they are going to try tooth & nail to look after no 1.

Agree0 Disagree0

SPL scam.

Agree0 Disagree0

No thoughts. If Green did not waive the cash then no licence and no team this year. It was a great deal when you think about it, otherwise the licence would have gone elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

The money should of went into the creditors pot. But the greedy spl decided to hold onto it for themselves.

Agree0 Disagree0

Was some of that not supposed to be the cash that the SPL settled Rangers footballing debts with e.g cash to the Jambos for Wallace? Am I right in saying they never paid any cash to Hearts and we subsequently paid them ourselves (albeit with an 100k reduction)?
I don't know who to trust anymore, para as f**k!

Agree0 Disagree0

Did the spl not say they would use the money to pay our debts to dundee utd for the cup game and surely hearts would av got some for the outstanding on the Wallace transfer

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that the old classic? - Sporting integrity

We (SPL/SFA) give you a licence you give us 2m quid,
we give you transfer embargo you give us tv rights,
they also wanted our titles but thankfully CG said No

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Would have thought that in the interests of 'sporting integrity' that it would have at least been used for footballing debt.
apparently not in this lovely wee country of ours

bil72

Agree0 Disagree0

If the club was concerned about creditors it could have paid some of them with some of the millions apparently in the bank instead of huge bonuses to people no longer on the board. Just a thought.

Agree0 Disagree0

The spl never paid ant of rangers debt rangers paid there own debt the spl only took money not thinking of bigger picture look at the mess reagen and doncaster have caused and the gave themselfes pay rises of 60 grand between them for great job done why is nobody questioning that why have footy supporters excepted this rip off

Agree0 Disagree0

The spl are riddled with bigots who hate the gers but let's wait and watch those clubs going down

Neil Alexander stuck with the club through thick and thin. Took a wage cut to help keep Rangers afloat. Was the best player early in the season along with McCulloch and often single-handedly repelled even more humiliating defeats than was actually suffered. Now I read "Get him off the wage bill", "Cammy Bell is number one!", "Bring in a young number twol!". Some of the comments stop just short of "F*ck off Neil, you ain't good enough now we arra peepul again!"

Where is the class guys?

Foxy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

At the end of the day foxy yes I agree maybe we should have a bit more class. But football is a business. Alexander stuck by us yes and for that I am grateful but he has had his moment like very keeper does but unfortunately he does not seem up to it in my opinion. We need to run our club as more of a business and less of a sentimental thing. His wages are higher than bells I presume. We cannot afford to have to spl standard goalkeepers on good wages so he either has to go or we don't sign bell. Bell is a few years younger and i'm not going to say he's as good as Alexander but time will tell. Don't get me wrong he's a model professional but that's why I think people think he has to go

Jprfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Re 1] spot on, yes Alexander has been a model proffessional, but a well paid one, do not let us get carried away with this salary cut, we ain't talking going from £10 per hour to min wage.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alexander should hold no blame for last season his defense was awful in front of him, cammy Bell is no better but will be made to look better because cribari and Perry won't be playing in front of him next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Loyalty or not. Rangers are trying to run a business and build a squad. there's no place for sentimental value in business. Bye Neil!

Agree0 Disagree0

Considering he was apparently on 10k per week last season or 520k per year, I think that was just reward for staying,
I appreciate he took a pay cut for a few months months but he was on a nice earner since joining in 2008

We are now reducing costs, he was offered a deal accordingly and chose to turned it down.
I thought he had a below average season in Div3 and lost too many soft goals

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 if this is the case why is ally still manager then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree OP.
This is a keeper who performed brilliantly as a stand in for the injured McGregor in the SPL and on the run to the UEFA cup final. He has never failed to show loyalty and has consistently performed well. I have to admit he looked pretty shakey at times last season but to be fair, wouldn't anyone with that defence in front of them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look mate Alexander was offered another year on his contract on less pay but I'm awfully sorry you think it's so wrong he should have to take a wage cut from 10k the mans made considerably more playing in goals in the Scottish 4th tier for one season than I have working since I left the school the money getting chucked at footballers makes me sick I feel sorry for them not one iota hel do alright for himself!

This is a guy who apart from the year Shagger got injured was on between 10000-15000 a week for sitting on a bench. Get a grip he's never been a number 1 anywhere before for a reason. He's no good enough! He stayed as you'll find that there was no interest in him. He has been well paid by Rangers down the years

Agree0 Disagree0

Niel allexander was paid really well for his time at rangers we are greatfull for his service tmwnn

Alexander made more mistakes last season than andy goram made in 5 years
