Whats the petition about r. f.
On stv news wanting agreement not to sell ground or murray park tommorow morning
7000 signatures is not big show if it was 47000 that would be different but where does bomber all of a sudden come back into the fight and what faction does he represent if any?
Where do I sign
Total waste of time, the current owners will subsidise the club, if necessary, until the cash comes in. Then, continue with the strip out.
Ever heard of--- ' Speculate to accummulate. '
I'm sorry I'm so pessimistic but the way we are going about trying to shift them is a joke and I don't mean funny ha ha. Rock and a precipice is still how it is.
The conspiracy theorists continue. Of course shareholders want to earn on their investment but the idea of asset stripping for personal gain is absurd.
I've read posts here saying the Easdales are Morton fans and I have no good reason to believe they are anything but Rangers fans, like ourselves and drip by drip conspiracy illusion just continues to divide us and damage the club. I've yet to hear what a better alternative is to buying season tickets and give the club our full support and going out of business doesn't do it for me.
Kfraser, Where am I indicating a conspiracy? I am against the stupidity of the petition and the season ticket boycott proposed by the 'rebels'.
I do, however, think that there has been a sustained plunder of our club's cash allowed due to the asset purchase. If not, where did the cash go? Maybe being an ostrich is the way forward, but I think not.
By the way, I am for the Easdales, and believe they have put more in than they have taken out.
@billyb, apologies if offence was caused because none meant and you make a good point.
My main thread of argument is not against you but simply put, rather what I see as the naivety of some aimed at bringing down the Board and therefore our club. " Needs must " I hear and yet we're forcing the owners into a corner with their backs to the wall and maybe into a situation in which the only way to continue as a going concern is to use Murray Park as collateral security against a loan.
I fail to understand the agenda of the so called rebels. To drive us out of business, into administration and potentially another liquidation, a 25 point deduction and guaranteed failure? I don't get them unless they believe in an agenda of the owners aimed at asset stripping anyway to the point of self destruction and I'm sure all the owners want is a successful team and return on investment. Oh and having the joy of watching Rangers winning.
I've long lost the plot of the boycotting brigade.
Kfraser, No offence taken, just a difference of opinion.
Most of the owners do want the club to be successful and therefore benefit their investment. Unfortunately, the control of the club, would apparently, be in the hands of the minority. So until the 'genuine' investors unite, and react against the plunderers, we have massive problems.
As far as King is concerned, in my opinion, he is leading his sheep a merry dance for self-benefit.
One thing I'm 100% with you on is your opinion of the 'rebels'.
Surely if them easdales where rangers men they would spill the beans instead of acting for these money grabbers helping these people is not what true rangers supporters would do they would help us get rid of them if they had the club at heart
Tmwnn, Who says they act for 'others'? Please don't listen to a certain protest mob, who certainly have 'S' in their badge. In my opinion the S stands for? If you guess right, it may rhyme with right.
Billyb them easdales have proxy shares belonging to tom dick and harry as rangers men why won't they say who ownes bph and margarita rangers men my bills
Tmwnn, I don't honestly know, maybe it is tied up in a contract as part of their option to buy shares. Outwith them, I would suspect that there are quite a few that could expose the identities. e. g. I would say that it's a fair bet Dave King will know.
The agreemment they have won't allow it its just a ploy to cover who owners are
7. ) By the way, I am for the Easdales, and believe they have put more in than they have taken out.

Fair enough. They are certainly working for no remuneration but what have they actually 'put in' to the club? A £500k loan, of course, but the majority of the shares they have purchased have been from other shareholders, so the club would see nothing of that money. I'm certainly not against them; they have paid up for shares so deserve to have their place, but let's not pretend they have made any real investment in the club per se.
StEddy, What is your point? So 500k is nothing and their time is worth nothing and most of all they bought shares, not like DK who has bought hee haw and with his sheep, caused havoc.
Hi Billyb. My point is simply that yes, the Easedales have 'put in to the club', certainly a £500k loan, and no, they have not taken anything out. They are working for nothing, for the benefit of the club, not because their time is worth nothing. The shares they bought though, apart from the ones bought at the IPO, have put zero additional funds into the club, so in reality, apart from their time, they may not have actually put much financially in at all, apart fron hte interest free loan. Admittedly, though, that is a damned sight more than DK
