Dave Kung ready to buy/invest in rangers as he has held meetings with Mather and Stockbridge in South Africa this past week or so it's on the bbc website bit further info to be released soon. I think the current spivs have realised the game is up and they are out the door but would like to sell than be forced out the club with nothing here's hoping!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not sure how to take this tbh. Might be better the devil you know. Would we rather have big fraud or little fraud-King v Easdales lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I've learnt not to get too excited about these sorts of rumours. don't think king will be buying rangers. Not alone. May take up some shares but doubt it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Op I hope they know there time is up but dk is is a shred man he doesn't need to give this lot leeway they know it I can't see him going it alone but we can only guess

Agree0 Disagree0

King will have been asking over beers how long till the nest admin and how much for preferred bidder status. You guys learnt nothing. He's not going to throb millions at green and co

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you ever see the days when we could boast half of the Dutch international team, along with two or three England caps and a variety of other superstars returning to Ibrox

I look back and wonder - was it worth it to see the state the club has got into

Was the soul of the club sold for a brief glimpse of glory

Was the success worth the shame of liquidation and the rise of the spivs

I would be happy for the club to have moved to the bottom tier and went back to their roots.
11 young Scots playing their hearts out and learning what it means to pull on a blue jersey.
Develop a new generation of skillful attack minded players with a clear football philosophy

No Spivs
No Debt
No Baggage

But look at what we ended up with

Heading to the next Armagedon
Low Lives in charge
Bitterness between the fans
Hated by the rest of Scottish football and side-lined in Europe
Dignity evaporated.

Is it too late to change this mess

Agree0 Disagree0

@1, ALLfraud charges against King have been dropped

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 how do you know what dave king will or won't do no rangers fan would ever what to see us go into admin again and also green has sold his shares and is nothing to do with rangers anymore

dave King is the man to pull our socks up
tB

Agree0 Disagree0

Dave King is severely compromised

The South African judge ripped into him and said he was the most unreliable witness he had ever heard

The case for racketeering and insider dealing has still to be heard - more sh1t to come

His investment of 20m is also extremely dodgy
He got a net of tax payment (according to his own tax retins to SARS in year ending 2001)

Sniff of money laundering that is now subject to investigation.

Agree0 Disagree0

@9 clutching at straws no charges wer brought against him so he's clear to step into help us away and you scaremongering somewer else

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone is a saviour. Will we ever learn.

Can someone give me one VALID reason why McCoist is still at the club? He epitomizes everything that is bad at Rangers just now, I don't think anyone is happy that we've been fleeced by Green and co, but by a former club legend is disgraceful, he has shown himself in his true light and unless we react we will continue to watch these people take our money and ruin our club while rubbing our noises in it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It will cost a lot of money to replace him. Is that good enough for you?

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is only on a 1 year rolling contract then surely the club don't have to renew it

Agree0 Disagree0

@2

Fair enough, so we could potentially win the league by 30+ points, we should tell him its not working. Sigh.

Agree0 Disagree0

A one year rolling contract means he always has a year left unless he gets 1 year pay off or someone buys him out for 1 year salary. Money money money all to ally plus shares no wonder he doesn't walk

Agree0 Disagree0

@1, come on two things, if he is the true blue he says would he demand anything, and it is a stick on we could get another for a lot less cash than his current absurd sdalary.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know if people feel the same as me but every time McCoist opens his mouth about anything he talks more s***e. I find it incredibly insulting that he comes out with nonsense like he didn't really care about the salary he was on and it was just signed up for whilst he got on with the football matters. PURE PISH. he was unaware he was on near a million pounds and he thought we were doing okay financially IN WHAT WORLD WAS HE LIVING?. only now when £30million plus is missing does he agree to a temporary (FFS) put cut to only just under £500000 for the third division!. and he can say that with a straight face. addto that he can't even try to show a little humility he had to chip in his usual snide comments at the end of interview like saying it first time ever a managers salary revealed and how bad it was for him its terrible him having to go through this. he actually disgusts me his complete lack of feeling for our financial plight it is all about him. All the fans with common sense are seeing him for what he is now, had he not supported so vocally all the crooks we have been fleeced by we would as fans never been duped into the season ticket and share issue sales in such huge numbers. these crooks were out to get us and we hate them for that. Ally was a Rangers legend and loved that makes him as bad or worse than them as he was someone fans actually trusted him. me personally I do not like him as a man and as a manager he is a joke. my biggest dislike of him was from the disgusting grassing he did of the 3 judges HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING pure sleekit and put those 3 people in danger for no reason other than ally mouthing off. I think Bill Struth and Jock Wallace would turn in their graves the thought of a person like him in charge of our great club. ANY OTHER person with his record would have been sacked, it says everything about him he has brought in top level players on big wages to cover up his lack of ability and the fact he wants to spend MILLIONS more we do not have to keep his and durrantys jobs. mind the quote when we were in massive financial trouble "he would spend millions to keep his and his pals jobs" or words to that effect. he has no skill no class and no shame and will eventually end up where he is suited to on the telly being the cheekie chappie he will never manage another club (mismanage) after he leaves Rangers. I have said I will support him and give him time because I love Rangers but truth is the longer he he is in charge the more I dislike him and how he has been a big part of Rangers downfall. just think if we do go into a 2nd admin he is a good £3million pounds and more part of that if you count his shares sweetener Green gave him. yours in Rangers and fed up with Ally's bs. george

Agree0 Disagree0

He will always be a legend in my eyes as a player but as a manager he just doesn't cut it the football we play is an utter disgrace an he should never open his mouth for the bullsh*t that comes out is unbelievable have said from day 1 I didn't want him as manager an will never change my mind

Agree0 Disagree0

@ George you started off wanting rid of the board now it's mccoist mate mccoist was given that contract and shares anybody who says they would turn that down will be talking 100% sh*te and also who are these people that seem to think they about what cut he's taken and also think they know that the cuts only temporary nobody apart from mccoist and the board

Agree0 Disagree0

@ George the players wages has got nothing to do with mccoist and also the fraud squad are all over this long firm old firm but yet nothing so if it's so easy for you to find out but yet trained specialists can't find it just looks you are talking bs yourself you had all this so called hard evidence if it was hard evidence then surely people would be arrested by now but again nothing its quite easy to get fans onside are in to conspiracies and there are quite a lot on here who love a conspiracy

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 I love the club and if I was in allys position and they wer going to get rid of me your damn right a would be looking for a pay off

Agree0 Disagree0

@5

Yes but you have to pay him off, can some of you guys not work that out?

Agree0 Disagree0

@george. Great great post. You summed the guy to a tee.

Agree0 Disagree0

@8, how does nobody know what the cut is, according to Ally he says it is around 50% but will however ease back up as we move up.
The one thing we do know is original salary based on accounts which tells us it would need to be at 95% reduction to be in line with others playing at same level.

Agree0 Disagree0

6. I like lots of things about Ally. But wouldnae believe a word he says regarding Ally didn't finacial trouble the club were in, obviously he's stopped speaking to Walter. And he still hasn't said which way he's votig at the AGM.

#Coward

Agree0 Disagree0

@13 mate obviously everybody knows his original salary and the 50% pay cut but nobody knows what his salary will rise to or even what his salary is after the paycut so again people just making up figures like quite a lot of people like to do on here

Agree0 Disagree0

So many people agreeing he should go but keep him due to compensation is just feeble.
Really weak and feeble stuff. Just give him the punt and his two stooges. Save £2m a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

@16 we would have to pay them so maybe save money for the coming years but there would be 2m out of what is left in the bank also mccoist is doing the job he was asked to do getting us back to the top league

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccoist isn't the problem. at rangers. His money is accounted for. Whether you feel it is justified is another thing altogether. He will get us promoted first time again. And one step closer to where we need to be. And anyone who thinks he should be paid the same as other third tier managers is deluded. Don't recall hearing smith, advocaat, McLeish or le guen needing being paid same as st mirren or Gretna managers in the day. Bigger clubs pay more money. Always have always will.

Agree0 Disagree0

@17) McCoist isn't doing the job, a lot of money is doing the job. Another guy on less money and spending less money would do a better job.

Agree0 Disagree0

You cut your cloth to suit, you don't pay big salaries because you think you are a big club, you pay what you can afford, why pay ally compensation?just talk to him, ally you are a rangers man, we cannot afford you, if you walk away you will be doing your bit to save rangers, you are a rangers man, why don't you give the salary you've been paid so far to the sons of struth or one of the real rangers people and stand back and let real rangers people save their club.

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2013 00:59:08
George I agree with every word. Ally is a wee snake.

Agree0 Disagree0

N4 maybe he never thought about his wage cut properly cause now he his contract could be terminated at half the price as of last week

Agree0 Disagree0

N20 maybe he should give his shares to the supporters but I don't think so lol

Agree0 Disagree0

18)
Take your point about big clubs should pay more to staff than smaller clubs.

But the first rule is that -

Dont pay anyone more than you can afford.

Rangers, more than any institution in Scotland should have learned this

Apparently not

Agree0 Disagree0

@19 how is he not doing the job are we moving on up yes and also how does anybody know that another manager would do a better job for less managing rangers isn't your average managers job look at Alan Johnston did with qots now at bigger club and can't win a game amd also it's not mccoist who's handing out the money and any manager would buy spl standard players if he was told he was allowed and again the Stockbridge has deflected the fans away from what the board are doing by puting mccoists wages in the account I thought the fans wer actually starting to realise how the board have been playing divide and conquer

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason you want rid is simple Lennon kicked his arse ther first season what a comeback and that hurts you more it was Lenny simple as that

Agree0 Disagree0

The mistake McCoist made was simply answering his detractor's by telling them either "yes that is my wage that was agreed by the board" or "what I earn is not up for discussion with anyone other than the board". Instead in an attempt to appease those who were shouting the loudest he has entered into a dialog with supporters as to what he earns and why. Those who are calling for his head for taking money that the club can't afford don't know what they are talking about, It's the boards decision to agree a fee which the club can afford and if they have got it wrong then it is them the fans should if they desire be accusing of mismanagement. Ally has been in charge now for a few years and if we all agree on what his salary was (or at least think it was) then he has taken around three million, were did the rest go?. He has not bankrupted our club due to his wages, the board have been boasting about how they have halved the wage bill at Ibrox, so again, were has the rest gone. The publication of McCoist's wage in the account's was a deliberate act by this board to focus the fans away from them and onto Ally (an act aimed at the soft headed among us that would pounce upon the revelation as the little sheep they are). Yes if you believe our manager isn't doing a good job then criticize him but not for what he earns as there is none among us (except the liars) that would turn down a good wage offer and as I have already mentioned, that is what the board decided they could afford. Some of the stuff I have read on this and other site's is nothing more that scaremongering and one man and his dog (someone whistle's and the sheep all gather in the pen awaiting their masters next command), Do not be foolish enough to let these conmen and their press advisers distract you from the real threat to Rangers because I am certain it is not coming from McCoist but if we close our eye's we will all miss it until it is to late.
CAJLTA.

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist said he couldn't look himself in the mirror taking that wage while Gers are competing at the lowest level of Scottish football. He managed it for the 15 months before everybody found out for certain what he was being paid.

If he had any dignity he would return the wage cut pro-rata for the 15 month period.

Pity he never told us at the time. might've been better journalism than printing whatever PR puff pieces Chuckie Green sent his way.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's propaganda to get rid of this board and prop up the P Murray position. Murray remains not fit and proper as does King under the rules.
No doubt when there is eventual board changes, Jabba will come out saying he was working it from within.

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 mate even if he did print this back when it all started us being rangers fans would have just said aw it's the record writing p*sh about us again and also we wer warned by quite a lot of people but we have the everybody hates us mentality

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 p Murray has already been told ther would be no hassle him becoming a director as for king a pretty sure he would have no hassle at all either it's facts that's in the paper and this board aren't fit to do the job that needs done

Dave King has no fraud charges to answer

The very same KJ who stated Craig Whyte was a billionaire in this rag of a paper? yes? no?

yes I say and more pash spouted here from him to deflect here.

home tie against airdrie in scottish cup wee nacho did the draw and said he is still on the lookout for a club in scotland

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No never have him back he was a super sub at best hate how some gers fans say he is a legend just becoz he hates them

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Oct 2013 07:31:51
god preserve us, are we going to spout the Nacho nonsense again, it was sore enuff watching him run around like a heidless chicken first time aroundm altho to be fair he did some good things and was sumtimes a handful, but to see him get a game in front of young players who are basically better than him would be so sad,

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a legend just because he hates them? Never I'm the past 20 years have Rangers had a player that loved playing for the club as much as Nacho. I remember him scoring big Goals agains Celtic (chippping Douglas) PK v Fiorentina notching up decent Tallys most seasons him & Prso were lethal & a strike force we will be lucky to see the likes of again. Mum not saying we should sign him but he does not deserve the stick he gets just because he wants to come back & still loves the club absolute shocking. Show the wee man STILL a fan favourite a bit of god damn respect. These are the guys who won us titles thesee are the guys who give us the opportunity to celebrate & jump around like looneys might never have been the greatest player but that Guy gave 100% every time he pulled on the Blue Jersey. Where's all the so called Die Hard Rangers men that grew up supporting the Club who's left? Jig did he grow up a Gers fan I'm not so sure. Nobody would turn Weiss down true he's much younger and a great wee player but he had half a season & jumped about in the crowd put a few things on twitter see people calling him a Legend. Get off Nachos back good luck with the rest of your career wee man hope you get a club soon.
