Will the egm still go ahead now that charles green has left?
Believable26
Unbelievable10
The EGM has to take place to remove these guys form the board. If all rumours are true and we do not have enough funds to see out the season then action has to be taken. Once accounts are issued which has to happen according to stockmarket and footballing rules, the true extent of the problem will be known. If the position is this bad then the shareholders will be forced to act to protect their investments.

The proposed EGM has nothing to do with Charles Green.

board looking for compromise but egm badly needed for transparancy lots of questions needing answered I reckon mcoll and co will still demand it I seriously hope so. bri blue.

Last thing we need is more directors, the board should be limited to a fixed amount, new member on one member off. More directors mean more cash out lay. Or better still set a fixed maximum figure for directors salaries 10 directors the fund is split ten ways 9 directors nine ways etc.

Indications are that current Board would be willing to meet with McColl and his associates although the indications from the Statement made is that Murray would not be welcomed. In the spirit of compromise and since Paul Murray's track record as a Director previously doesn't leave a lot to be proud of, a compromise that saw him step aside along with Stockbridge would be the ideal solution.

Off-course its the only way to rid ourselves off all vermin

Of course it will, it has nothing to do with Green as he wasn't a director. They still want rid of 3 directors and place Murry and Blin in.

Stockbridge will not just go until he has completed the mission that he was sent to Glasgow to achieve.

Darren Cole has been asked to stay away from the club after no showing a reserve game

I am very disappointed in Cole if these allegations are true. The game against Cambuslang Rangers was in memory of Gary Lynch who was, like myself, a supporter of the greatest senior and junior clubs in the world.
Nacho Novo turned up and played (& scored) for the 'Lang). Compare that to Cole who is accused of not turning up and not telling anyone that he wouldn't be there.
Cole is at the age that he needs to break through into the first team. If he does, he could play a big part in the team for years to come, but he will need to improve both in his play and his attitude to achieve that.

It was a Charity match against cambuslang rangers that he decided to no show
Agree0

Obviously his explanation wasn't deemed sufficient and he has been asked to stay away. Probably looks like the end for Cole at Rangers and best thing would be for him to find a new club
Agree0

Or find a new job. maybe he can be a painter with Black. We need to stop signing up people with bad attitudes - get professional players on the books and get rid of the wasters. what's happened to Barrie Mackay. has he got a bad attitude too

Puma deals for 5years cider deals for 1year can't help you with how much there worth.
Agree1

Think the puma deal is 5 years blackthorn 1year
Agree0

Heard blackthorn was only 180,000 but not sure how true

Puma deal only worth how many shirts are sold. They just supply the replica strips to sell and take a cut. There is no deal!
Agree0
Disagree0
Heard the same as above post about puma. Deal- no up front money just. A % of sales
Agree0

I did hear (from a usually reliable source), that we are only getting 0. 20p per jersey sold.
Doesn't sound like a lot to me, hope it's not true, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of folk are getting a cut of the action.
Agree0

I think 20p is good for each sale of a shirt they look as if they cost about 50p to make 40% not a bad return mm

Charles Green has agreed to stand down as a consultant at Rangers and sell his shareholding in the club.
It follows discussions by conference call with the Rangers board and repeated calls for him to go.
The man who led a consortium to buy the club last summer has been under pressure to walk away following infighting at boardroom level.

WOULD THTA BE THE CONFRENCE CALLS THAT mATHERS SAID HE wouldn't BE DOING AS HE WISHED TO SPEAK FACE TO FACE. God this is a bloody farce
Agree0

@ op he's not stood down for nothing the only reasons possible for that is the egm is not going ahead or his side have lost and will be voted out so hopefully this is the turning point for rangers by snake cutting all ties with the club

I'll believe it when I see it. From what I have read I thought he was locked in and unable to sell his shares till December. He may not have a "job" or a title but I think he is still going to be hanging around like a bad smell being the puppet master.

Easedale still to get first option although may not take full quota available

Where would Rangers be had Green and Co not stepped up to the plate? We are so ready to believe anyone who comes along and claims that they are not doing things right, but we will, AYE RIGHT!

Is he remaining as a director of Rangers Retail and the company with the security contract?
Probably not really gone then.

I read somewhere that he was leaving and would be able to sell shares before the rest of shareholders

Wer would rangers be there wer other bidders but the deal with d&p ment green got it so maybe we would have been a club with more than ten mill in the bank so please stop making out he was some saviour

Actually poos technically all the incoming players mentioned are or should be not attached to any club and be free agents since we can't sign anyone yet. What was the point of that post?
