Heard yesterday that Ben davies wife had sepsis and not cervical cancer, aware sepsis can be fatal, but considering davies is in the squad for tonight, can we assume this is him ready to kick on and the wife is on the mend. If true shocking on behalf of the posters who were spreading the c word around.

Hopefully everything is ok. I'd start Davies tonight if fit and able.

Arfield, the posters who were doing it probably did so as his wife beat all the odds and beat a terminal cancer diagnosis a few years back which she wasn't meant to beat. She was very ill, but managed to make a recovery. Unfortunately, people were putting 2 and 2 together because of her past diagnosis.

Hope she is able to get better on her own and doesn't need more hospital. Could be losing Davis for a while but now he's our player we have to give him the time family comes first.

i hate this, when someone innocently posts on a fans forum what has been written elsewhere then is attacked by someone trying to be holier than thou

the guys missus had cancer, mentioning it wasn’t going to make it worse,
nobody did anything wrong by bringing it into a conversation about why davis wasn’t playing

my pals talk about my sickness, i’m sure others do too

there’s nothing wrong with it.

Arfield salute, its a rumours site, people will post what they hear. How's it shame on folk? Thicker skin or don't read mate?.

Davies not the answer to our problems. He's a mid level championship player.

if he’s a mid level championship player twice then he’s nearly a premiership player surely.

One player alone is never going to be the answer, Davies clearly has a lot of crap to deal with off the pitch right now, previous sickness aside sepsis has long term affects. Give the lad the time and support he needs so he can in turn provide it for his family. Can only wish them all the best fortune, buzzing to see him sign for us.

Yes I hope so. I lost my youngest son, my partner and father in 9 months last year to cancer. Rangers to me and my love of music gets me through. I will never accept a non trier.
I sincerely hope she recovers.
That’s why I get so angry at times with people behind the scenes who don’t tell us what is really going on.
Apologies.
