Glasner (ex Frankfurt manager- yes that one) has apparently thrown his name in the hat to be the next manager. That night is still raw but he got Frankfurt to the last 16 of the UCL, obviously won the Europa and in his previous role got Wolfsburg into the UCL. For me he’s the outstanding (realistic) candidate at the moment.

This is one that gets me excited, the bonus with this is he also worked as a director of football with RB Salzburg before becoming a manager so that would hopefully bring some experience of instilling an ethos throughout every level of the club instead of the disjointed approach we have right now. Early reactions to this are people rejecting the idea because he beat us in a final, grow up lads eh. Him and Clement are the best candidates so far for me.

If reports from Belgium are to be believed, Clement has met with Rangers. Again from Belgium says he Dows not want to move to Saudi and would prefer Europe.
So question is, even if we sign him or another manager, there is still no sign or news of a DOF, assuming that route is not being ignored by board this time around.

The board will offer up a sacrifice soon probably drawing lots right now, if they select Lampard they can all get their coats and leave as that would be the final embarrassment .

Glasner is as good as they can get and happy days for them . no compen. no need to get their wallet oot and actually risk their own money . which would be a new thing.
