Have seen from a few sites (Nottingham based) there are tentative enquiries about Emmanuel Dennis. First paid £10m back in '22 but been on loan in Turkey and Championship. View is that the wages would be a stumble (although reading though Gera interest likely more in a loan) .

By all accounts (including manager) Bajrami had an excellent game for Albania. He was everywhere, which is good to hear. Just hope we use him in a natural role.
At around €4m could be a fairly low cost gem (a lot for us, but in the scheme of things 4m for a 25yr old international with good Serie A experience could prove vital) z.

Sat in my hotel room whilst away at work, and drifting through you tube.
Ended up watch some re-runs of Rangers last big Euro run. Wins over Dortmund, Leipzig, Red Star and Braga. What struck me was;
1. They played a simple, effective game utilizing wings, cross balls and applying real pressure, whilst flooding the box in attack. High tempo football
2. How swift they were in transition when winning back the ball.
3. The relentless edge with which they played
4. The clear fire in the players eyes
I know there was an element of luck, and GVB didn't translate Europe to the league, but the football was a joy to watch .
When you think, it's a simple game really, when played with passion, decisiveness and that will to win.
Nostalgia trip over.

Wishy he's looking to leave Como for lack of game time and Pisa just promoted and Lecce just survived. Need to read comments before having a dig.
And strom I have no doubts Serie A is far superior but being quoted for likes of Lecce and Pisa most certainly is not. And we sign 'young players' from lower leagues with a view to developing them, unless they are established players which I get. This player most certainly is not.

If he cannot get game time with the bottom end of the Serie A why would we expect to give him lots of playing time? Could see if it was juve or Napoli.

I would assume we would look at Miovski on a loan or loan to buy, though I suspect the Spaniards would rather sell him… sounds more like he is being touted.

Think good as Aribo is, he's not what we need. Seems a winger is immediate need, probably a forward and likely fullback (depending on outgoing of course) . If it's a midfielder assume it would be a no.6.

Not convinced £5m will get miller at this stage, and by all accounts he seems to see his career next step outside Scotland and possibly Uk.

He is currently an owl. But the news from Sheffield is that he is on his way to Glasgow. On last year of a 3yr contract and Wednesday under increasing financial pressure. By the sounds of it not going to be the first player they lose quickly.

Hagi not for me. Not because I dislike him at all, just think we have plenty coverage and have other needs, particularly out wide where pace is key. With new midfielders 3 signed already he would simply be an expensive bench warmer for me.

Not for the first season we are struggling to move players on. Let's face it if our supporters keep going to about how hopeless Propper, King, Macausland etc are, then how can we expect other sides to pay us good money.
This is the conundrum, we clearly need new players in (particularly CB, Winger and CF), but with an already bloated squad desperately need outward movement. More than a few contributors on here have discussed one in and one out, which seems the sensible policy. Question is whether what we have 'in' and available right now are good enough to get us past our CL qualifying tie. As defeat here could have serious ramifications for the season ahead. I get the league is no.1 priority but Europe has been a great friend and without the prize money we pull in every season we could be even further behind the 8 ball.

Be delighted to take Cerny back.
He is a seasoned international who is often a cool cat under pressure and delivered some very telling goals.
For me he is exactly the level of player we should aim for across the board.

If reports are to be believed (coming from Italy), Genoa were ready to sign him before manager said no. Indicator we are not his first choice and RM says he wants players who are all in. Coupled with the fanfare around his wife and the costs in signing him I don't think he has enough commercial value to make it a worthwhile investment… now if it was Messi ?.
