This story regarding us possibly swapping our left back ridvan yilmaz for verona's scottish left back josh doig is very prominent now and i'll ask each this question ? Should we swap yilmaz for doig and why ?ED, could you please also run a poll for me pal ?The poll being ie who do you rate the better left back,
yilmaz or doig ?As usual much appreciated ED ?.

I can only say yilmaz as I haven’t seen anything of Doig since he left Hibs.

The 3 things that push me towards Doig is the fact that he’s Scottish, he knows the league, and he’s taller than Ridvan. Having said that I’ve not seen Doig play since he left hibs and I can’t imagine many on here have.

Yilmaz was very good yesterday and was one of our best players at the weekend but my big issue is that he can never sustain a run of games because of injury that will allow him to build form. Even now he’s starting to build up right as we get to a break, of course that’s not his fault but it just always seems to happen to him.

Why spend more money when it looks like Ridvan appears to have found his feet and looks confident and comfortable.

Nothing between yilmaz and doig for me Ibrox4Me ? With yilmaz now getting a run of games and beginning to look the part i personally would stick with him instead of possibly swapping him for doig ?Both good left backs right enough ?.

Yilmaz will turn out to better player long term, but if swap deal with money in our direction, i would think about it.

So, Doig who can't get a game at Verona according to some and is apparently valued higher than Yilmaz.
And Yilmaz has been one of our better players the last couple of games.
Much rather see Yilmaz get a run in the team.
A Hibs fan at work told me Doig was excellent when he first came in then was terrible for a spell before being sold.
Not sure I'd be going all in for Doig.
Though I have not seen him play since he went to Italy.
Much rather give Yilmaz a turn and punt him for decent money in a year.
