The problem is the VAR checked the hand ball incident

What should have happened is the play should have been stopped, checking possible handball should have came up on the screen … and then lines should have been drawn . the offside given . then free kick taken
It was a blatant hand ball it’s his job to highlight it and he never! Then tryed to cover his tracks 20mins after the incident.

That’s not the rules. The supposed offside wasn’t in fact. It would have been a penalty and Johnson would’ve been shown a second yellow.

I don’t believe that WC is a cheat. I think he’s a dreadful referee. However I also do believe that we should pursue this all the way as the standard of officiating across the whole team that day was beyond appalling.

The only person who thought it wasn’t a penalty was Willie Collum that’s the crux of the matter. Why was such a blatant hand ball not given, we all know the reason, there has been a campaign against Rangers in the media mostly by x Celtic players regarding penalties. Objective achieved referees bottles it.
