Storm posted the picture on here yesterday, of our allegedly new rangers home jersey, which i truly think is very traditional, plain and smart, what our home kit should always be imo ?
But i've read comments from quite a few ie. its not royal blue, it's too dark etc ? Honestly is that a massive issue because if we look back to say for example our european cup winners cup winning home jersey, it was always a darker royal blue than it has been of late, so i ask them which is the correct shade ie. the slightly lighter shade or the slightly darker shade that was prominent in the 70's,80's and even our first adidas home jersey and nike home jersey in the 90's which were all darker blue than our current home jersey ?So it's not an issue at all for me ? What's everyone's thoughts on this ?.

I personally think it looks like a cheap template.
Colour is nice but that is all.
I think for the £80+ that would be charged it is underwhelming.

I'm more concerned with the calibre of player wearing the top than I am with whatever shade of royal blue it is!

Majority of fans will still buy irrespective of the design and brand, for me as long as we have the traditional red and black socks, not many who wear blue have red and black socks. For away like a white shirt with blue socks and maybe red socks as it keeps it red, white and blue, but in recent years the away shirt or shirts is seen more of a marketing ploy. See most teams having at least two and three.

Asathor, everyone to their own mate but the new home jersey for me does all it needs to do for a rangers home top ie traditional plain and for me really nice ? That's all that's required for a rangers home kit for me ?.

im nit certain the rangers colours have actually been “ royal blue “ i'm sure that's a different shade altogether, maybe i'm too old to know what i'm talking about, i just don't remember royal, actually being in the original kit description.
