Regarding Robbie McCrorie, should we keep him? Personally I would. However his career could stagnate as he's not playing. With Kelly due to arrive where does that leave Robbie? I think he's better than Kelly. Obviously Robbie has ambitions to play and be number 1. If butland stays I can't see him being no. 1. Do we sell him or try and loan him to another club to gain more experience by playing? I'd probably try to loan him if Kelly arrives and butland stays, thoughts?

Neither kelly or robbie are good enough to be rangers number 1. Pre season mcCrorie was getting pelters for all the goals he conceded near post from corners. Could not even make livis number 1 keeper on loan. If kelly is coming in he shoukd move on to get game time.

Kelly is better than Robbie right at this time. Robbie will never be a number one for rangers.

McCrorie is definitely a better keeper than Kelly, however the boy needs to look after himself, mb he goes for a year or two and return as number 1.
He will soon be in Scotland squad if no 1 at a Aberdeen, hibs, killie.

McCrorie has to be sold this summer, end of. We bring Kelly back on a free and make money off of McCrorie (no matter how much it will be a profit). McCoist out of contract next summer, we can not let another player leave for free, especially one that’s not going to play. We have to stop talking about ‘keeping players just for the sake of it’ and realise we need to become a selling club with a proper player trading model. No more letting 5 or 6 players walk away for free each year.

John27, how do you reckon McCrorie is a better keeper than Kelly?
Kelly is way more experienced First choice keeper for 2 clubs and nothing to stop him being a no.1 at rangers. I wish Robbie all the success but he should have moved sooner. If he is to be no.1 for the dons I wish him well.

That's an interesting opinion John. I like Kelly although only watched him when against us and always seem to have a really good game. McCrorie on the other hand, has never been great when given his chance.
Perhaps this is down to experience. That's why I have that opinion, admittedly based on arm chair punditry at best, open to correction. What's your insight, John or anyone else that's seen a bit more than myself, strengths weaknesses on both.

His career has already stagnated. Boy should have started the season he earned the right to get that chance.
If they both leave then at least McCrorie can say he has a clean sheet vs Celtic ? c'mon butland need to get that clean sheet today.

Blue because I have seen plenty of both keepers.
We r making a mistake In bringing in Kelly. He is very very poor with the ball at his feet.
Does not command his area nor come for cross balls
He will never be a rangers first pick imo
The fact he has been first choice does not make him a top goalie.

That should have obviously said McCrorie not McCoist (damn auto correct) . Mind you I’d love it if we still had a McCoist in our squad!

I respect john27. His info and his views however I don't agree the good Ayrshire man Mcrorie is better than Kelly. Mccrorie should have moved. Don't miss the boat son just because you love the gers. Achieve your potential or retire wondering what if.
