He was also played out of position by smith john. Due to the CM area being packed with talent. Went on to have a good career. Made a lot of cash probably more than he could ever have made at us which is what its all about these days i guess.

Paul he left us and went to Blackpool for 13k a week, more than we were paying him. then 30k at Liverpool. Yes he had a good career good luck to him.

Adam was (and seemingly still is) the whipping boy for some parts of the support. The ones that need someone to blame even when we are winning games easily, a slightly misplaced pass and the barracking starts, and being honest it is usually a young lad coming through, one of our own as it were!

On another, slightly related, matter - One time a few years back I took the family to Blackpool and we went up the tower, I took a picture of the beach from the top of the tower, posted it on social media saying that if you look closely you will see donkeys and one of them is Kirk Broadfoot (who had recently moved down there) . The photo was liked by at least two Rangers players at the time!

Adam was no donkey for me. Cultured player technically good and a wand of a left foot. He didn’t develop much from Rangers to Liverpool. Alan Hutton was also classed as a donkey! He was absolute class. Yeh first few games he struggled. A lot of fans expect to see a player within minutes of seeing them play, I wonder what they are looking at at times. No, Adam’s was a great player.

Who comes up with the morelos for 10mil stories contract to 2024 and Eduard 20 million with 1 year? I have seen reports of buff at 20 but not many. Kristoffer ayer 15mill godson 8 is the highest I've seen and so on. I think that press and pundits don't value what our players did in the league and Europe as much as they should.

Kirk Broadfoot should never been given the opportunity to wear a Rangers jersey I’ve seen better Sunday league players
