Loos like the cup and good run in europe is the best we can hope for this season.

Jason brown

1.) 13 Feb 2020 09:00:36
I wouldn't be surprised if we got humped out the cup at Tynecastle. I'm not exactly filled with confidence for the Braga games either.

2.) 13 Feb 2020 09:55:52
It was only a matter of time till last night hit us!
I think the mAjority of bears wanted us to kick on and get back to form before the split, but for those of us without rose tinted glasses this was staring us in the face.
McGregor - not what he was last year
Halliday - contributed nothing, no threat on the left
Golden and Katic - where were they at the goals and NO threat at corners or free kicks
Tavernier - crossing and shooting abysmal
Aribo - posted missing
Arfield - at least had a g, pass mark's for him, just!
Hagi - welcome to Scottish football - none on the same wavelength as him!
Jack- contributed nothing
Kent - didn't beat a man all night and no shots for a forward?
Morelos - way off the pace, shooting at the moon, and spends more time on his backside

Did the Killie goalkeeper even have a shot to save!

SG if you weren't under pressure before? You better get your hard hat on now mate.

3.) 13 Feb 2020 10:38:57
BAR72 did McGregor have to save many?, answer no, he just let them into his net.
Maybe he didnae see the ball wi that bit o grit in his eye.

4.) 13 Feb 2020 16:16:36
I said it in my last post.
Check it out if you want.
We will be knocked out of europe after the next 2 games.
We will not even get to the final of the last piece of silver ware.
So here we are again. another year and nothing.
As a supporter for many years i have got to the stage not to watch the games now.
Just watch the highlights if we win.
SG ain't the man to stop ten in a roll.
Too many pals on the field of play.
Get rid of morelos. take any offer of 10 million for him please.
Tavernier. get rid of him as well.
Christ. can't even cross a ball
Oh when am at it. get rid of them all and build a team around hagi.
Sell kent for 2 million. as he is rubbish and forget about the 5 million loss.
So get a grip on this site
We are a long way from being the Famous Glasgow Rangers.

5.) 13 Feb 2020 17:16:59
Rab, The only bit of your post I agree with is we are a long long way from being back to the famous Glasgow Rangers mate.

Yeah the players have been rubbish recently but hopefully they get back on form soon.

6.) 13 Feb 2020 23:42:23
He is right, morelos is rotten, been saying it for ages. Yes he has scored x amount of goals but so could anyone with the chances he has had. The chances he misses are alarming and if you watch him, he struggles to control the ball most of the time then falls over whilst spitting the dummy out. He has no class and i cringe at watching his antics.

7.) 14 Feb 2020 10:13:50
I love Morelos but yes he has been terrible since coming back. He got suspended when he was on fire we then struggled for results and now he’s back he is off form and we are still struggling. has he cost us again with way he acts? I don’t know but I hope he finds form soon or kamberi gets a chance up top. league is gone. Lennon changed tactics after they struggled against us and has not looked back since, maybe time for Gerrard to try something else tactically and see if things improve. Teams are always in the game v us. We have been on the end of horrific refereeing but we should be putting these teams away regardless.

25 Jan 2020 21:02:18
Does anbody know if rangers have a sell on clause for billy gilmour? He is playing well with chelsea.

Jason brown

1.) 25 Jan 2020 22:01:29
no he doesn’t. We didn’t sell him. He was on a youth contract so signed professionally with Chelsea. We got a development fee for him.

2.) 26 Jan 2020 08:34:30
We couldn't insert a buy on clause as he signed his first professional contract with chelsea. It's a real shame as I had very high hopes for this young lad. We also find ourselves in the same situation with young Leon King who can move on for a mere development fee. Fingers crossed Stevie G Can convince him to stay.

3.) 26 Jan 2020 10:04:18
At the end off the day Gilmours family wanted him to leave Rangers.

4.) 26 Jan 2020 13:42:26
yup money talked. although it seems in this case to be working, the vast majority who leave to a big club down south are never seen again.

07 Nov 2018 18:11:20
Daily record post cast linking wayne Rooney to rangers on January according to rangers news.

Jason brown

1.) 07 Nov 2018 19:43:05
never he's a die hard puddle drinker.

2.) 07 Nov 2018 22:03:27
😂😂😂Wayne Rooney.

3.) 07 Nov 2018 22:03:42
That's isn't what it said I read the same thing. It said players we could go for. It in no way said he was interested and he has said before he has a soft spot for Celtic. Quote the article properly please.

4.) 08 Nov 2018 02:02:19
Why is it impossible? Robbie Keane, Craig bellamy and Roy Keane played in Scotland!

5.) 08 Nov 2018 06:07:52
I honestly don't think, even if rangers did try to sign wayne rooney on loan, that he would come to us!
He'd much prefer to go to THEM!

6.) 08 Nov 2018 07:51:15
The same article suggested Scott Alan as well. Which in all honesty I believe is more likely than Wayne Rooney.

7.) 08 Nov 2018 08:59:24
Absolute nonsense.

8.) 08 Nov 2018 12:06:08
Seen the same article was just nonsense paper talk, honestly don’t think it’s totally out of the question him playing in Scotland though that is unlikely because of money but going by some old tweets from Rooney he’s on the dark side.

9.) 08 Nov 2018 14:08:09
The name Rooney should give away his leanings towards a Scottish team.

29 Sep 2017 09:21:17
How much money will we make from the Florida and usabio cups?

Jason brown

1.) 29 Sep 2017 09:57:11
Never mind Florida. Let's just worry about who's going to replace pedro because that's him done now.

23 Feb 2017 09:48:45
frank de boer in London being interviewed for the rangers job according to the daily express.

Jason brown

1.) 23 Feb 2017 12:12:18
it does not say that at all. it states that de boer is in london as rangers continue their hunt for a new manager at no point does it say he is being interviewed. he is being linked with the rangers job that is all.

2.) 23 Feb 2017 12:24:46
Here's hoping

3.) 23 Feb 2017 13:07:10
A team like rangers should not need a manager to play football. they should no what it means to the fans. they should be better then what they are a few years back we were all about mark and his magic hat. who ever we get as our next manager a wish them well because if it is de Boer use will slate them they way use did allymarkmurty

4.) 23 Feb 2017 13:15:06
What's so special about Rangers that they shouldn't need a manager?

5.) 23 Feb 2017 14:18:06
Bearsontour, a manager is not just there to motivate players as is your suggesting, utter dog meat of a comment.

6.) 23 Feb 2017 15:59:45
jamesrielly99 - put two and two together mate!

7.) 23 Feb 2017 16:36:08
He was in London doing an interview for a sports channel nothing more.

8.) 23 Feb 2017 17:01:48
okay jason brown i am going to be in london tomorrow so i am going to be interview for the rangers job seriously get a grip there a lot of managers in london so does that mean they are being interviewed.

9.) 23 Feb 2017 18:40:44
have you been linked with the job!

10.) 23 Feb 2017 19:54:42
We are Glasgow rangers the players should no how to play football with or with out a manager simple is that.

11.) 24 Feb 2017 12:28:13
Looks like he has said he would like to manage in English top flight. Surely King must rule him out of the running then to maintain a consistent stance on the club being used as a stepping stone.

12.) 25 Feb 2017 11:16:55
bears on tour u are right. we shoud be playing better but to say we don't need a manager is just ignorant to where we are at the moment aberdeen have better players than us, that's only because they try a lot harder there is no fight from our team and if calley play aggressive tonight which they will our team will fold

13.) 25 Feb 2017 23:37:42
Bearsontour, I feel your pain, but I must point out Glasgow Rangers are at present being Liquidated, their file currently resides in a filing cabinet in an office in Canary Warf in London. For clarification you can check out the progress of said liquidation on Companies house website.
However good luck with the new venture.

Was looking at the ticket prices for the stmirren game. The minimum was £29! Maximum £34! This is an absolute disgrace for a small team. Thoughts please.

Jason brown

1.) 25 Jan 2020 21:25:56
Jason, stay at home pal.

2.) 25 Jan 2020 22:35:58
Same for all minnows, if you followed us for years u might know.

3.) 26 Jan 2020 11:18:32
What a way to treat one of your fellow supporters guys! Take a look in the mirror!

4.) 26 Jan 2020 12:31:58
Nae loyalty Jason brown. fair weather friends! Haha.

5.) 26 Jan 2020 13:12:50
Jason what is your point ticket prices are the same.

25 Jan 2020 21:06:38
Celtic are trying to replace scott brown with david turnbull. Should we try and steal him instead? The same way we missed out on brown ten years ago?

Jason brown

1.) 25 Jan 2020 22:18:15
Turnbull is a vastly different type of player to that f*nny brown and no, we shouldn't try to sign someone because c*ltic are interested in the player.

2.) 26 Jan 2020 08:04:32
David turnbull with all due respect to the player, wouldn't get near our midfield at this moment in time!

3.) 26 Jan 2020 11:20:00
Davis isn't going to last for ever and kamara may leave in a year or so! These players need to be replaced!

15 Jan 2020 13:54:45
Looking for some honesty here. In terms if getting maximum value from transfers, who is better rangers or celtic? Your thought please?

Jason brown

1.) 15 Jan 2020 14:26:17
Celtic clearly are better at getting max value in transfers. And this is due to last 8 years in champions league, europa and winning trophies every year. Only now with us competing again will valuations start to rise. Now we just need to start winning things.

2.) 15 Jan 2020 14:39:25
We have played the better football this season.

In terms of experience and things for sale value then that has to goto Celtic. Champions season after season ( yes that's down to us being put to the lower leagues ) but them playing in the champions League and their team getting that big stage experience means some of those players value dose do up. As some of their players have scored in big games and win games in the champions League.

Then this year both in the Europa League and into the last 32 shows we have came a long way. Yes some of our players have scored goals in wins in the group stage. But it's the knock out stage that counts now if some of our player play their hearts out and we get through to the last 16 then more value goes on to our players.

But to answer the question i'd say Celtic at the moment. Sorry for rambling on guys haha!

3.) 15 Jan 2020 16:40:57
We are. We've got better players. Few if any Celtic players would make our starting 11.

4.) 15 Jan 2020 21:39:08
Gary is Bill leckie in disguise 🤣🤣.

14 Jan 2020 18:32:44
The board really worry me at times. They only value barasic at 10m! If he was at celtic he'd be worth double!

Jason brown

1.) 14 Jan 2020 19:16:14
Noone from within rangers has ever actually said that though have they? An Italian paper has said rangers would want north of 10m euros? and apparently that is now the gospel.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 19:20:13
Its less than £10million our board value borna barisic at mate. Its €10million, which equates to around £8.6million. We should be accepting a fee of no less than £15million and place that value on barisic's head, as a starting point. Hope to god we don't sell borna! 🙏.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 19:53:40
SGL, where do you see that the board value Barisic at 10 million euros?

4.) 14 Jan 2020 20:16:45
SGL who on board has valued barisic at £8.6.

5.) 14 Jan 2020 20:19:14
First two posts absolute nonsense. You have no idea what he’s been valued at. Bad enough reading and believing the Scottish red tops, now you’re trusting the Italian versions 🙄😱.

6.) 14 Jan 2020 22:09:49
Providing he continues his form and has a decent euros then he must be worth 20 plus million to these European teams that wouldn't think twice of parting with that kind of money for an English reserve.

7.) 14 Jan 2020 22:26:55
None of us for definite know what our board have valued barisic it, if indeed at all. We can only read reports on every subject for that matter, unless someone from our club actually verifies it! that's just the way the football world works. All speculation until either agreed or denied. I only hope we don't sell barisic and that reported valuation figure ain't true.

8.) 14 Jan 2020 23:24:42
Ibrox4me, yes mate, get in there, borno is going nowhere for now, or ever if that's the trivial offers being made. our club would never except such a small offer, guys an international player, .

9.) 14 Jan 2020 23:47:34
Paper talk valuation by an Italian rag. No public valuation coming from Ibrox. Likely he could leave after Euro20 for upwards of £25m.

10.) 14 Jan 2020 23:48:54
Maybe some of you high flying financial giants who know the worth of every player should contact the board and tell them of their failings?

11.) 15 Jan 2020 08:11:45
No valuation has ever been made public by the club. Roma said the club wanted £8.6 million which they thought was too expensive. I've said before arsenal paid £20+ million for injury prone Tierney and there's no reason we can't get that for BB if he has a good Euros. Obviously, I'd prefer if he stayed.

12.) 15 Jan 2020 08:47:38
I have to politely disagree with some of the valuations being put up by some posters for Borna. Let ne start by saying that I don't want him to leave at all but suggestions that 25m is a fair price if he has a good euros is ridiculous in my opinion. Relating is value to that if Kieran Tierneys as well is not a like for like comparison. When considering how much a player is worth his age is a major factor. BB is 27. Say he signs a 5 year contract if he signs for Roma and extends his contract at some point if he is doing well. That would be him is his thirties with a very low sell on value. Kieran Tierney is 21/ 22 and will be in his late twrnties still with a sell on value to Arsenal if they decided to let him go. 27 is not old and is probably where a full back will be coming into his peak but the sell on value is a factor when considering price. Like i said, i don't want him to go but if 15m came in i don't think we as a club would be in a position to turn that down, especially if the player wants to go.

13.) 15 Jan 2020 09:29:07
Does Borna maybe have a 10M€ clause maybe?

14.) 15 Jan 2020 09:38:21
I had the same value as you MOCBEAR for borna barisic. I reckon between £15-£18million would be a fair price, but i don't want him to go!

15.) 15 Jan 2020 10:21:43
Fair point DEEB. None of know the finer details of a players contract. You could be right about a release clause. Who knows.

11 Jan 2020 01:23:07
To all the people arguing about flags, let's live and let live! We're all on the same team!

Jason brown

1.) 11 Jan 2020 09:41:42
Jason brown - here here. We are all different with different views, bottom line is we're all Rangers fans and supporters PS, Does anyone know if today's friendly is on Rangers TV?

2.) 11 Jan 2020 09:55:27
Yea games on RTV Stuck.

3.) 11 Jan 2020 10:20:38
Yes the game IS on RTV.
