We should be striving to improve year on year. Not settling for EL.

BMGH01 and MPH. I think the idea was to bring in cheap, sell at a profit and then invest again. That was our modelling business. However it hasn’t happened. I’m sorry to say this but Stevie is not that type of manager. He grew up on Liverpool budgets. They buy better at cost and happy to sell at loss. Our scouting is puzzling me to be honest. Our team selection is puzzling. If you know your best 11 why have 11 back ups. At least 2 players should have been brought to enhance that team. The amount of dead wood we let go every season is mad. Wasted money. That to me is why Brendan left Celtic. He needed cash but would have to sell his best players to generate it. Look at the poundings they took in the champs league.

We have to remember that Stevie is now in his 4th year. The wow factor has gone. He has given us the old teddy bears again but what is the next step?

If we can bring in those players SGL mate, we become a better team instantly. Those players take the squad to the next level, but at what cost? Our board has a choice to make in Jan. Do we spend to secure the league and automatic entry to champions league and guaranteed 40m, or do we stick and go with what we have. What we have should see us through the league, but this squad is nowhere near champions league quality and would fail miserably! It's stick or twist! Even though I think we can win the league with the current squad, it's still a risk not to invest.
