Tav signs a new 2 year deal. Fantastic! Hopefully a few more to follow suit.

Some serious accusations flying about after last night's game. Slavia, it would appear, are getting their allegations in to try and counter anything we accuse them of, and by the sounds of it, they are accusing Kamara of assault. Something was said, that is clearly obvious, but unless any of the officials heard it, it's going to be difficult to prove. Knowing how UEFA work, and their previous of sweeping racial allegations and events (monkey noises etc) under the carpet, I wouldn't hold out too much hope of support. It stinks, but If Kamara did punch that wee fud, I wouldn't be surprised If it's us that get hammered.

1.) 19 Mar 2021 09:56:28
Slavia said in a statement they needed police protection in the tunnel after the game but police Scotland have said they’ve no knowledge of any incident taking place so it’s merely deflection tactics to shift focus off the racial slur.

2.) 19 Mar 2021 10:04:27
An 8 year old wee girl wouldn't need police protection from Glen Kamara.

3.) 19 Mar 2021 10:14:22
They also said a UEFA official was present when the player was allegedly assaulted. This team, I believe, have previous and I don't believe them for a second, but If any on here believes UEFA will back us, I wouldn't hold your breath. If you think the SFA are bad, they ain't got anything on this mob.

4.) 19 Mar 2021 10:33:04
Players should have walked off,

13 Mar 2021 17:39:46
Whoever the bag was who started the horrendous rumour about Sir Walter's death should hang their head in shame and hope to God it doesn't come back and bite them! They deserve everything that's coming to them.
Get well soon Sir Walter you're a true gentleman and a legend.

1.) 13 Mar 2021 17:54:06
FS that's a bit strong mate its rumours, and its in the nature of rumours, is it not, the entire country believed Walter had passed,

His family most likely won't be on here at this time, did you expect mo rumours?

2.) 13 Mar 2021 18:11:39
I agree TT some people on here are just as bad as the person that made it up.

3.) 13 Mar 2021 18:14:52
Totally with you BMGH01 😡Anyone who participates in these terrible lies/ rumours, are total bags and i make no apologies for saying that 😡All the very best wishes sir walter smith total gentleman and legend 👍Now fellow bears let's all do as walter's family want, by giving them the deserving privacy they've quite rightly asked for 🤔God bless sir walter smith 🙏

4.) 13 Mar 2021 18:21:01
It's maybe a bit strong for the easily offended like you, but I couldn't care one bit. Someone started the rumour, it never started itself! How do you think Walter's family are feeling with the false rumour of his death flying about? And just so you're clear, I'm not talking about the guys on here, I'm talking about the person who started it and put it out on social media etc. See If you can't read the room, it's maybe better not saying anything!

5.) 13 Mar 2021 18:30:43
Hold on a minute , YOUR ON A RANGERS RUMOURS SiTE, calm down
At least 5 friends have texted me with same information, all wrong , but they're not lowlifes, they're the same as you, trying to be as hurt as possible is ridiculous considering you both contributed, as did I and everyone else, what about the next rumours , just shut the place down then.

6.) 13 Mar 2021 18:31:09
What? "Some people on here are just as bad as the person who made it up". How do you work that out Einstein? And who exactly do you mean? Bizarre post!

7.) 13 Mar 2021 18:55:30
Thank god the rumours are wrong. Get well soon Walter.

8.) 13 Mar 2021 19:05:54
It is possible that it could have come about by somebody mishearing something then telling someone else what they thought they heard and the snowball effect ensued.
Or maybe I just hope that was the case. I guess we will never know but here's hoping the gaffer will be ok a true legend and a gentleman.

9.) 13 Mar 2021 20:08:10
Totally agree with BMG. It had to start somewhere and the fact it's come out to be BS makes it even worse.

I posted similar earlier and it's not a pop at anyone on here but someone, somewhere had to kick it off and would have known it to be false. Absolute cretin whoever it is.

10.) 14 Mar 2021 11:53:44
The only way is to say nothing until anything is official, remember what Advocaat did to Chic Young years ago regarding his announcement of Eoin Jess's imminent signing for Rangers, very embarrassing.

08 Mar 2021 15:56:58
Over 6k raised already for the memorial bench fund! Well done Robert, sterling work big man. A true and decent Rangers man who knows right from wrong.

1.) 08 Mar 2021 16:01:13
That’s great, thank god some know what Rangers fans are.

2.) 08 Mar 2021 16:02:00
Can you post a link this is a worth while cause and I’d encourage all fans no matter how small to donate. As a club let’s do the right thing.

3.) 08 Mar 2021 16:04:12
Sorry, that should have said over 5k not 6k.
Brian is that you who donated to the fund mate?

4.) 08 Mar 2021 16:16:40
Great news, Do you have a link BMG? 👍.

5.) 08 Mar 2021 16:25:58
robert marshall gofundme . bmgh aye that's him.

6.) 08 Mar 2021 16:39:32
So good to see this being done. Unfortunately I’d imagine not one person that actually caused the damage will donate anything to the repair. 😔 which is always the way. For every 99 great fans there will be one that’s an a*se. Unfortunately it’s those ‘ones’ that end up creating the reputation we all get tarred with. We probably won’t see any stories in the press reporting on the fans who raised the money for the repairs, only the ones that did the damage. And before anyone says it, that’s not because ‘the press hates us’ it’s because the ‘damage being done’ is more of a story, it would be the same no matter which group of fans it was. Which is why it’s important to not be the ones doing the damage in the first place.

7.) 08 Mar 2021 17:02:21
Pay for any damages. Then give excess to Soup kitchen at George Square.

8.) 08 Mar 2021 17:30:50
Ger1978!, 1 in a hundred us still a bloody lot considering our support. the vast vast majority do not have or can't get/ afford season tickets.

9.) 08 Mar 2021 17:49:52
Amendment to what I said above, there is actually a story in the record reporting the fund raising by our fans. Surprising, but fair play to them for this time reporting the positive as well as the negative.

10.) 08 Mar 2021 17:57:39
Great idea John, does anyone know to donate? 👍.

11.) 08 Mar 2021 19:54:26
Lana wolf kindly donated 200.

08 Mar 2021 13:57:47
After the few idiots who let our club down by vandalising the memorial benches at George Sq, there are a number of real Rangers supporters and supporter clubs who are now fundraising to repair the benches and show what decent Rangers fans are all about. It's just a shame these guys have had to do this. Well done to all concerned with the fundraising!

1.) 08 Mar 2021 14:20:28
Could you set up a fund like you did for the food bank BMG? Maybe some of us could contribute? What do you think? 👍.

2.) 08 Mar 2021 14:33:15
I'm going to contribute to one of the funds mate, but If someone wants to start one up on here, then I will definitely put in.
SGL what would be your thoughts of getting something going as I know you are a big supporter of things like this? Do you have time to get something together mate? If you don't, are there any volunteers?

3.) 08 Mar 2021 14:34:08
aye good idea colin i'm up for that . ( oh and maybe some of the Tims might chip in seeing as they were there too wouldn't hold mt breath though)

4.) 08 Mar 2021 14:43:24
BMG/ Coldo great idea and maybe will help to heal the wrong that was done by some of our supporters.

5.) 08 Mar 2021 14:44:39
I'm just not technology savvy enough to know what to do with these funds stuff. 🤷‍♂️👍.

6.) 08 Mar 2021 14:56:32
As i work in the hospital BMGH01,its the time mate! But of course if anyone else done it i would participate in this no doubt 👍.

7.) 08 Mar 2021 15:01:51
bmgh can you post one of those funds on here will ed allow it? unfortunately i live in ireland so i cannot access some of the fund me payment schemes.

8.) 08 Mar 2021 15:06:03
i see there is two gofundme fundraisers on the go robert marshall and john white bmgh i take it these are legit? i see lana has chipped in!

9.) 08 Mar 2021 15:14:06
It's time with me SGL too. When I put together the foodbank appeal I was already off on my holidays. December is the time I can get my feet up and relax a bit. I'm juggling the job with home schooling just now so I don't have the time.
Yeah, I believe they will be legit Brian mate. Robert is the owner of the Louden and father to our SLO Greg so it will all be above board.

10.) 08 Mar 2021 15:21:54
But Tavloyal says it’s all spotless, he watched it on the councils cctv, nothing to see here, no terrible scenes, spotless he said

No rampaging, “ just a couple of self righteous fools on here he said,

No mate, this “ fool” is a businessman, and a Rangers fan over 50 years, you are an apologist for lowlife,

11.) 08 Mar 2021 15:25:06
Who's lana🤔😏👀😁👍.

12.) 08 Mar 2021 15:51:00
TT it is spotless and was at 8am this morning

13.) 08 Mar 2021 16:07:00
That’s maybe dye to the council working through the night to clear our city centre

14.) 08 Mar 2021 18:00:38
They were rangers fans there also clearing up but no mention of this.

Bo Anderson was a decent player, but did he not want away after Gazza urinated on him? I seem to remember he was absolutely raging, and after that, it all went pete tong.

There's definitely something there with the boy. He has a bit of skill linking up play, and there's been a couple of nice finishes in the games he's played, so I would like to think he could get another chance. A loan sounds a good idea, but If its back to his old club, it might be a loan to buy deal.
Coldo is on the button with the Barasic situation. Out of all the players we've had over the last few years, it's Barasic who stands out for how long he took to settle, to where he is now. If it was up to many, he would have been away long ago.

Brown and Naismith working together? That could be interesting! Just because Naismith is finished, or the thumb is unfit, doesn't mean they wouldn't be a perfect fit for a team as woeful as the sheep. Did I not read somewhere that they see themselves as genuine title contenders If they can get the thumb to follow broonie? Brilliant!

Why not both, SGL? Lundstrum would be a free, permanent signing, whereas either of the other 2 would be on loan.

He would be a better option to Jack seeing he's always injured. Davis, as much as he is strolling it just now, can't go on forever, so If we can get a player the calibre of Lundstrum, on a free, then we take it. As for Kamara, I think he'll stay another season, and I hope he does.

Supporters cost us points? What? Are you serious? Oh dear!
For goodness sake, get a grip man. By you're reckoning, your insinuating that some players are not strong enough to take criticism or some booing, and as soon as crowds are back, and they get booed, they'll buckle and cost us a result? Get a grip! You obviously don't think much of our players. If they lack the ability to ignore the boos, or the criticism, then they should be nowhere near a team like Rangers.
I've been going to Ibrox for over 30 years now, and as far back as I remember, fans have always been hard on players. Are today's players so delicate and precious they can't handle it? Behave!

It's a well-known fact that Lennon can't handle his drink and it only takes a few sherbets and he wants to fight the world (see the Matt Elliott interview where he discusses this) . All this "he needs help" stuff is getting blown out of proportion, and he's not the first person to have too much swally and make an arse of himself. Yes, he's had previous with mental health issues, and drinking alcohol while suffering from depression, is a no no, but let's not read too much into this. Don't waste too much sympathy on someone who is drunk and spoling for a fight as Lennon's plight is far from being that of a George Best, Kenny Samsom, Gazza etc.

I would much rather have Howe as their manager than Favre.
I think DTB finds the whole Howe situation funny rather than Farve becoming their manager. It's been widely reported in the media up here that Howe has agreed to the job, but according to Howe's agent, nothing has been agreed and any deal is a long way off. Also, some has-been singer (celtic fan) was spouting that he has seen Howe house hunting in Glasgow, but that was also rubbish.
