Has anyone heard Jimmy Bell is retiring at the end of the season?
I read a post he's decided to put his feet up after we get 55. Also, I read he has worked for the last 2 years without taking a wage to help the club out. Legend!
The chat is Jim McAllister ex Morton and Hamilton player is taking over.

BMGH01

1.) 24 Feb 2021 15:09:47
BMG, bell definitely gets a wage at rangers.

2.) 24 Feb 2021 15:28:09
I don't know John, this was posted elsewhere mate.
Apparently it came from his son, and there were other posters who said they knew him and backed it up.

3.) 24 Feb 2021 15:29:50
The poster didn’t say he had worked ‘the last two years without a wage’. He said he had heard he work for 2 years without a wage at one point (my guess is if this is true it was when we first went down to bottom division) . Big difference to suggesting he currently isn’t being paid (as if we are struggling to pay the kit man. got to be careful when you say things like that, it’ll give that lot all the ammunition they need to start spouting their ‘admin 2!’ nonsense)

4.) 24 Feb 2021 15:35:41
Sorry bmg, absolutely not, Rangers have very rich board members, they wouldn’t last 2 minutes if they were paying a football player 20g a week and the Kidman who works for the country’s biggest club, nothing, m to save money

Come on mate, your a lot better than that post.

5.) 24 Feb 2021 15:36:01
I can’t see him not taking a wage his wage is not going to help rangers 😂 unless he’s on millions think that’s rubbish.

6.) 24 Feb 2021 16:14:06
By the way bmg old chap, I know what “ cringeworthy “ means mate.

7.) 24 Feb 2021 16:24:47
Of course he’s getting a wage and has always received a wage. For goodness sake.

8.) 24 Feb 2021 16:30:05
So you were just being an arse tom?

9.) 24 Feb 2021 17:10:54
Bmg, when and what are you talking about mate

Please enlighten me because I’m lost.

10.) 24 Feb 2021 17:23:17
If you're lost Tom, look at a map.

11.) 24 Feb 2021 17:28:00
Bell has always been, and still is, paid very well by Rangers. He is also lining his son up as his 'successor'.

12.) 24 Feb 2021 16:36:25
Sorry, my mistake. I read the post wrong regarding working 2 years for free. It was probably during the dark days. Blame the eyesight.
He's still got to be commended for taking a hit for 2 years regardless of when it was If true.

13.) 24 Feb 2021 16:42:18
How for goodness sake Bankie? , I posted what was written elsewhere, and I don't see what was that bad you get your panties in a twist.
How do you know he never went 2 years without a wage? Do you know him? If you want I can let you know who posted it and what forum you can find him on and you can have it out with him you drama queen.
You would think I just took a crap on your carpet with the way you're acting. 🤣🙈.

14.) 24 Feb 2021 16:55:07
Who cares what they think Ger1978? Do you? Do you really think me picking up on a post wrong will all of a sudden set of a chain of events that will end in them believing we are going into admin 2? Behave?
The admin 2 belief is well and truly ingrained into their psyche and me reading a post wrong isn't going to make any difference. If you want to think that, fill your boots, but you are miles off.

15.) 24 Feb 2021 18:38:35
BMGH01, testing thread for you I think.

16.) 24 Feb 2021 18:49:40
Not at all. You would think I had committed the crime of the century the way drama queens like you with your pompous faux outrage reacted. I was in two minds whether to call Donald Findlay incase I needed him.
You never answered my question. How do you know for sure he never, at one time, went without a wage? Again, do you know him?

17.) 24 Feb 2021 18:54:41
A simple thread gone wrong causing heartache for so many😢😢😅😂😀.

18.) 24 Feb 2021 19:30:29
No heartache for me 3 cheers mate, I'm loving it.
The only thing that I'm annoyed at is that I'm still waiting to hear If anyone had heard If Jimmy was retiring? Once they untwist their panties, and get over their outrage, someone might give me an answer.
The "for goodness sake" was the best one. I thought Harold Bishop had posted it when I first read it.

19.) 24 Feb 2021 19:30:41
BMGH01, I doubt Donald Findlay could be of assistance in your current predicament.

20.) 24 Feb 2021 19:56:55
You're avoiding my questions. Why is that? Is it because you haven't got a clue and posted your faux outrage without any concrete evidence to back it up?
I posted a question and relayed what was posted elsewhere (admittedly I read the bit about when it was wrong and admitted I made a mistake) whereas your post was definite and you used the words "of course" and "always received " so again, do you know this for sure? Are you afraid to answer in case you look like a fool?
Well, I've admitted I was wrong and made an arse of it, so what about you?

21.) 24 Feb 2021 20:56:43
Bmg, are you just accusing me of something and ignoring my request to tell me what it is I’ve done, I certainly never aimed anything at you that would be “ cringeworthy “ my post was a simple one, about sebo being awful, wtf have you turned nasty for .

22.) 24 Feb 2021 21:18:18
You never done anything Tom, mate. I was acknowledging your sarcasm in the sebo post earlier today and used the term "arse" in a loving way. You know I would never be nasty to you.

23.) 24 Feb 2021 21:20:56
Tom, the post about ignoring my question was aimed at Bankie? Is that what you mean?

24.) 24 Feb 2021 22:03:12
BMG I think you seem to have your panties in a twist 🤦‍♂️.

25.) 24 Feb 2021 22:07:20
It’s cool mate, no worries,

24 Feb 2021 11:45:17
Red Arrows flyover isn't happening guys. I didn't think it would. Shame!

BMGH01

1.) 24 Feb 2021 12:01:49
Shame its not happening but was a great idea and 60k will goto charity now soon all good 🇬🇧.

2.) 24 Feb 2021 12:12:57
It was sure worth a try, the charities will benefit out of the money raised, maybe a a couple of Piper airplane can be arranged with our colours, 55, and Champions would be a good idea. Well done to everyone who raised the money and got the idea up and running.

3.) 24 Feb 2021 12:26:46
I believe the money will now be split between Smile cancer charity and the guys at the Erskine veterans charity. A sterling effort all round. 👏 👏 👏.

4.) 24 Feb 2021 13:17:24
Should give it as a whip round for our Neil.

5.) 24 Feb 2021 13:20:41
Two excellent charities. Keep us posted.

6.) 24 Feb 2021 13:26:29
Brilliant that the charities will benefit. 👍.

7.) 24 Feb 2021 14:05:54
Great stuff, thought it would get to 55 or 56, but 60 sounds great.

8.) 24 Feb 2021 15:22:13
I said when the rumour started that it wouldn’t happen still can’t believe people thought it would.

9.) 24 Feb 2021 16:30:06
That’s good,

Great stuff guys.

10.) 24 Feb 2021 18:50:34
Glad the charities will benefit . Great stuff from the supporters. What do you think about if it goes according to plan we have 55 confirmed when we play at the midden, who should put a scarf round their goal post? . My vote for McGregor .

24 Feb 2021 09:32:38
Now that the Lurgan flop/ bigot is away I hope we don't see any best wishes or "I felt sorry for him" on here. That just won't do.
NL despised everything about our club, and held a particular hatred of us, the fans. His hatred for all things Rangers was palpable even through the plastic persona he used to project in the media of a misunderstood, I'm really a good guy image.
Lennon was always the victim, but could start a fight in an empty house. The way he went down like a sack of tatties clutching his face after being hit on the arm at Tynecastle was embarrassing, but not for him. After the event when he claimed his jaw was still "killing him" would have left anyone else cringing with embarrassment knowing it was a pure lie. But not him! You couldn't give the guy a rid neck with a blowtorch.
Everything was everybody else's fault and NFL was an angel who bad things kept happening to. Balls!
I don't for a second condone all the bigoted hatred thrown at him, or when he received bullets through the post. That was abhorrent behaviour that no one should ever experience. It was everything else he was involved in. The list is long and I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.
So, good riddance Neil Francis Lennon you won't be missed.
Rant over.

BMGH01

1.) 24 Feb 2021 10:07:43
Rangers will miss him BMGH01, they might end up with a real manager.

2.) 24 Feb 2021 10:45:13
We shouldn't fear any manager they bring in mate.
Yeah, he was a crap manager we could all laugh at, but that wasn't my point.

3.) 24 Feb 2021 11:01:16
Spot on BMGH01

I’ll be honest the soft side of me nearly felt sorry for the way he has left Celtic - but I then remember him sniggering g and laughing at us on live tv with his mate Chris Sutton
I agree 100% with your post he’s been a great adversary for us to overcome and believe the turn around in our club for me has came at a great time because he was there too see it witness it and really feel it that Rangers are back
And we have absolutely destroyed him and his credibility as a Celtic manger and no one else better to do it than the famous Steven Gerrard
He laughed at Gerrard last year after our victory at parkhead and then we fell apart after the new year in that season
but now Gerrard has learned and got the measure of him and smeltic and got the right squad together that he knew if we played the way he wanted us too we would destroy them and we have done that and not only that, look at our European run once again Gerrard is now shaping up to be a cracking manager and will no doubt have a long and successfull career in management like he done as a player
Guys a born winner and got the grit and determination to be successful in everything he does

I know I have been angry over some periods he’s been here but I can old my hand up and say thank bid he’s here and stuck it out and thank god the board gave him the chance after all its the board who brought him in and gave him his chance so gig plaudits for to them for giving him the chance 👏👏👏👏.

4.) 24 Feb 2021 11:16:03
As per usual they'll go down the cheap option route and john kennedy will get the permanent gig there 🤔
Wouldn't surprise me one little bit and i'll be p*****g myself laughing if that's what happens 😂😂The ANTHILL MOB's supporters will be going nuts if that happens 🤣🤣.

5.) 24 Feb 2021 11:19:15
Lennon is one of the most disliked / divisive figures in Scottish football from all clubs fans including the Celtic Family now.
For a fanbase that used to give him their undying support, they have chased him out of Scottish Football.
More's the pity. I would have loved to have seen him sitting there raging when we go to Parkhead as champions.
I won't miss him except for the laughs he's given me this year. 👍.

6.) 24 Feb 2021 11:46:00
SGL Kennedy will not get the job no chance, I have heard (my inlaws are jungle Jim’s) Roy Keane who will be a bigger farce than Lennon IMO.

7.) 24 Feb 2021 11:50:10
Bye bye Lennon Scottish footbsll will be a better place without him. Hope he never comes back.

8.) 24 Feb 2021 12:04:18
Bond from their forum has heard it's Keane too. Oh please make it happen.

9.) 24 Feb 2021 12:51:52
Good riddance to the Lurgan bigot, no sympathy for that man who, was always quick to play his secterian card, laughed at us, spat at us, and absolutely love it he now cannot handle us, may his pain last a lifetime 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 55.

22 Feb 2021 08:30:53
So, since the turn of the year we have played 9 in the league with 7 victories and 2 draws. In those 9 games we scored 17 and conceded only 4.
To think some were on here saying standards had dropped and they feared a Celtic comeback. A Celtic comeback! 🤣🤣🤣.

BMGH01

1.) 22 Feb 2021 08:55:27
I agree BMGH01,the first sign of a blip and some on here were s*****g themselves! The first sign of a blip and some just criticised everything about the club instead of waiting to see 🤔🇬🇧.

2.) 22 Feb 2021 08:56:13
Just nerves from some BMG can't really blame them after last season and the wait we've had to endure.

3.) 22 Feb 2021 09:08:06
I don't want to be too hypercritical of those who feared the worst. Considering where we have been, and what's happened to us over the last 10 years, I can understand why some had the fear (well, some, but not others) . 🤣🤣🤣.

4.) 22 Feb 2021 09:13:55
🤣🤣🤣 we must have posted that round about the same time Barrowlad.
I totally agree mate.

5.) 22 Feb 2021 09:15:56
Not everyone is confident some pe open just nervous that is all.

6.) 22 Feb 2021 09:55:46
I think after all the false dawns we've had we all had a right to be slightly nervous. The difference this season is when we've not been at our best we have won. That's what put the pressure on puddlers and they just couldn't deal with it.

7.) 22 Feb 2021 10:03:24
I've been confident since we played poorly and still beat the Tim's at New Year.
I never believed they would go on an unbeaten run. There was no evidence of it previously.

8.) 22 Feb 2021 11:53:42
I didn't want to celebrate too early, maybe because it's been so long since we won the league but after yesterday's results the nerves have finally gone. Winning it a breeze block city would be the icing on the cake!

18 Feb 2021 22:21:17
He might not have scored tonight, but Alfie was fantastic.
We are so much better with the wee man in the side.

You do know that a good run includes 2 old firm games? Do you want them to win them during their good run?
I don't think you thought that one through before you posted.

You're correct LS, but that was in a game we had already scored a good few goals and we were strolling it. I was actually impressed with his range of passing, but anytime he's been up against it, he's been rotten.
I don't think he's a bad player, he's just not suited to our style of play. If he's meant to be the player brought in to replace Davis (if he retires) or Kamara (If he's sold) then God help us.

I wrote a few weeks past that Zungu is one of the most least effective footballers I have seen at Rangers in a long time. His end product is nothing. His 2nd touch is a tackle which usually results in him fouling the opposition player. Instead of driving the team forward he would rather look for a safe option which is either a sideway pass, or a pass back to the defense. A strange player!

Was he Ed001? I could be wrong, but I think he's their player who has played for our youth side, but only as a guest?
This signing is all down to our partnership with Orange County.

BMGH01

{Ed001's Note - it may have been a mistake on the TMS due to not having the right set up to deal with these kind of youth moves, but they definitely said he moved to them on loan from Rangers. I remember it well from doing the news articles.}

I've never seen Toney play. As far as I knew, he was meant to go to celtic, but they wanted to play silly buggers and didn't want to pay what Peterborough wanted.
Were we actually in for him? Was it not just paper talk?
