This a board for opinions . comparisons are fine for an up and coming youngster, whether the comparisons are not quite the real deal or accurate if you may. Oasis was compared to the Beatles for a reason . Oh and some on here may disagree but nice to see hesgoal still showing as It gives some folks an outlet to watch the game other than Rangers TV that lacks quality in most compartments. Just my take as always.

I compared a young player with some of the greats but some seem to think that's a no-no. I actually feel its a compliment . although maybe my comparisons could have been not as high a bar. hope that clarifies. as i stated oasis were compared to the Beatles and that was indeed a very high bar to emulate.

My reply wasn't a dig at you deecee. I just wish people would let young players develop without the pressure of comparisons. Scotland as a whole is bad for it as soon as a young player looks promising he is the next someone or the best player of since so and so. We should just be letting the boys develop and be the best version of themselves.

We might disagree on some football issues but leave The Beatles out of it! Best pop / rock band of all time. Overrated East Belfast? 17 UK number one singles and a band whose influence on following generations has been immense. Rant over.

I agree 55 constant comparisons or some say he will never be as good as this player just let them be who they are.
