Football have moved on from that generation - probably quite hard for players to relate to a hugely successful team that had a very different mentality and culture. Loads of teams use specialists - people are just absolutely desperate to be negative about anything that happens with the club right now.

Loads of teams in all sports use these guys to speak to players times have moved on, all players and management have been getting peters since Sunday some deserve it some maybe not but MB came in took over Gios team was handed less than £4 mill in January and people expect huge changes, we are simply not good enough and we have been going backwards for three or four windows, the only way we can match them is to invest in the team, now where that money comes from or how much we have got I’ve no idea but our team has stagnated we need fresh blood to push the players we have but recruitment has been poor either not good enough or injury prone but the team has not been strengthened.

Big Ben I've never been a sportsman in any sport professionally. I remember on a work pool night out somebody saying to me, are you not going to let her win when I was playing a female colleague. My answer was not a chance, if you compete at anything you compete to win. Didn't need a highly paid specialist to tell me that.
