Honestly, apart from rangers and celtic the rest of the teams in our top division are seriously dug meat. Can basically guarantee that any other team up against celtic will lose, not because of the occasion or anything. Because they are p1sh. I know we haven't beat them this season but we have put up a fight. Hearts, hibs aberdeen etc. Gash. Unless something changes soon with Scottish football, then it's just going to get worse.

Been saying that for a while orange. almost know the score now prior to kick off with them. only way to beat them and stopping the rot is to be smart in the new players coming in. raskin, cantwell. lawrence and Yilmaz when fit along with Hagi are a step in the right direction.

The biggest problem in Scottish football comes from our small league.

Clubs cannot look by thier own self interest where they want as many gates against old firm as possible so will not change it.

The size makes it a really tight league where teams need to fight for points. Any teams that try to play football end up getting rid of thier manager and bring in somone who will make the team more combative in style.

We see this every year when Scottish teams, outwith old firm, play in Europe. We see them played off the park by teams playing football with technical ability rather than physical ability year in year out.

Until this changes Scottish football is a lost cause IMHO.

I was thinking the exact same thing. As much as I want us to win every game I long for the days both of us would drop points fairly regularly. To know the league is virtually pointless from November because we got off to a bad start is pathetic. Remember always looking at next 3 games and saying target 7 out 9 points.

I think a big part in this is because Rangers and celtic are both playing well now and have players levels above any other club.
