He’s set us back years. Any manager worth something would’ve sorted that defence out as a matter of priority. The fact we’ve gone into a season with the same back 4 that shipped so many daft goals last year is unbelievable.

Can't argue with that John, now it is up to the Board to step up and bring in a quality replacement and find the Investment to fund yet another rebuild.
At least Bennett and Bisgrove can argue that they were not in the Prime Roles when Beale was appointed but it is up to them to lead us out of this mess.

I think the confidence is gone John,
I actually think we’d have played better and maybe go a result with mb in charge n got rid after st Mirren but it’s done now.

We can simply look to future now and pull together in the hope the new gaffer and dof can fix this mess.
It’s only going to get worse before it gets better.

That's not just on beale.

That's also on the people that appointed him, allowed him free reign, didn't appoint a director of football, allowed our assets to walk out at fractions of their potential values.

This club has been rotting for years. It needs sold and to start again.

So 72, I will admit to wanting rid of Wilson but I wanted him replaced by a better DoF since while I couldn't criticise his outbound transfers I thought that in general the players signed were second rate. That said, perhaps his hands were tied since Parks certainly didn't like spending money.
